Silver Lake, Salem Lakes fishing places to stay

A beautiful location and a perfect home for a large group. Our gathering of nine had plenty of room to spread out and we all appreciated the wonderful hot tub. Nearby Fox Lake offers a nice selection of restaurants and places to shop. It seems like this place is six minutes from everywhere. We greatly enjoyed our long weekend and hope to stay there again.

Stayed here and it was so cute and clean. Would book again next time I’m in the area! Host was also so friendly and responsive.

Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

I love the place. it was great ti find coffee! I like sugar so I bought some and left it for the next guess. The place is super quite, clean, loved it. sure would be even more beautiful during summer. the fure place it's beautiful 😍 I enjoyed watching the deer, birds and swans and ducks. love it. ❤️

This house was perfect for our group! There were plenty of beds for all of us, plenty of extra air mattresses to use and tons of extra linens and towels. The rooms were clean and cozy. The living space was warm and inviting and the kitchen was STOCKED with anything we could have needed! The house was clean and ready for us - even a little earlier than planned! Jeff was a fabulous host to work with. From the day we reached out to inquire about the property, he was responsive, friendly and helpful. The highlight of our weekend was spending the beautiful sunny day outside - looking at the water and relaxing with friends. There was plenty of comfortable seating outside - including a fire pit that we used to make s’mores one evening. Some of us took out the canoe and enjoyed our time on the beautiful lake. Our group lives about 50 mins away and we truly felt like we were far from home on vacation! I highly recommend this property and would definitely work with Jeff again in the future!

We had a great time at the lake! The weather wasn’t great and we had lots to do in the cabin, there was grilling with a spare tank of propane and plenty of games in the cabinet under the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, serving ware and containers!

The house was great! Everything was clean and well supplied. We loved having the hot tub already hot when we got there.

Absolutely Loved our stay!! There aren't enough good things to say about the view, location & beautiful house. So fun! There's a pool table, air hockey & 2 free standing video games. Spent every sunset in the Lakeview room😍 Just gorgeous beyond words! Did i mention the Bald Eagle that hangs out in the tree right outside the Lakeview bedroom? Incredible! the lake doesn't freeze over in one spot in front of the lakeview window, saw all the big birds of prey hunt. It was definitely wildlife at its finest. The owners are Very responsive & told us to be on the look out for the eagle! Fantastic time! Loved Loved Loved it & already reserved for our Wedding weekend❤️

Had a wonderful family getaway for the weekend with our college kids. Plenty of room for all 6 of us and our dog. Enjoyed bird watching and the beautiful sunrises. And area hikes. Kids had a blast with the kayaks. Thankyou Greg! Hope to be back again soon.

We loved our stay in fox lake. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for making meals. We loved the outside with the gas fire pit and the hot tub. The house was a great location for walking around the little town. It was a bit noisy at night next to a bar but not unmanageable. The management company was very responsive for the few things we needed and we definitely will be staying with them again! We loved our stay, thanks so much!

The house was nice right by the beach and the area was great. The water was less swim able then desired but I believe it was due to the time of year.

We had a wonderful family vacation with our kids and grandkids. With 10 of us and 3 kids, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There's a beautiful view of the lake and it was shallow off the dock so we were able to relax on our floats. The house had everything we needed for cooking meals and we enjoyed the games that were in the closet! I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.

The home in itself was beautiful and had the best view of the lake. The host is very friendly and responded quickly. My entire family especially my little ones enjoyed our stay and are hoping to be able to come back soon.

Our family had a great stay at Jeffrey’s place. We especially enjoyed the kitchen with full amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the nice view and the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend! Would stay again in the future once the weather gets a little bit warmer.

Zach was very responsive and helpful with our last minute planning. The property is exactly as indicated in the photos and was very clean. Even in the winter, the lake view was exactly what we needed … very relaxing and the location is close to shopping and restaurants. Thank you, Zach, for all your help! one thing that has nothing to do with the host or the house itself … google maps has a difficult time routing you to this property … Waze is a better option. Getting to the property by turning on Gibson from the main road is a much better option and provides a more clear route. You won’t regret a stay at this property!

Sandy was such an amazing host! She was very kind and respectful. The place was beautiful! We went for a wedding and found that the location of the Airbnb was right around the corner, super convenient and so peaceful.

The house was just how the pictures showed the hosts was very responsive and the neighborhood very quiet definitely recommend!!!!

Cute, smaller home, quick neighborhood. very clean, comfy beds. washer and dryer on site was a plus. Host was very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place! It was a beautiful house with plenty of space for our group. Not to mention it was a stone’s throw away from the lake! We also had some personal issues that caused us to be a bit behind on checkout, and we appreciated Jennifer and Angela’s understanding.

One of the best Airbnb I’ve been to. It was clean and spacious. Steve was an amazing host, he took us on a boat ride, so much fun. This place was 20/10… I would definitely recommend, we had a great time.

Check in was easy, and everything was as described. Julie’s place met our needs for a place to stay while visiting family. Her place is clean and well supplied. Lots of room which we didn’t use all of it. The fenced in area was nice to be able to let our dogs out.
