House vacation rentals in Sherrills Ford, Lake Norman of Catawba

Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

The place came as advertised, easy instructions at check in and WiFi setup. Super convenient to a lot of local shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay.

Our family celebrated graduation at Kristen's place and it was perfect! Kristen communicated with excellent instructions, we had ZERO issues. She also checked in to see how everything was and the only thing we asked about were landscape lights around the pool area, which she immediately checked on and made them the college colors for graduation too! The pool was such a highlight to enjoy along with the backyard. The landscaping was so pretty. The house was clean and spacious for us rest and relax. It exceeded our expectations!

This house was awesome! My Fiancé and I rented this to gather family for Easter 2025. Linda gave us permission to have family who were semi local to visit for our Easter dinner which was so special to us! My guests staying with us were impressed with how relaxing the back area was with the pool and the sunroom. We had multiple adults, our niece (6mo) and several of our 4 legged nieces / nephews and there was plenty of space for us all. We are so grateful for Linda and her generosity! The day of check out one of our guests had rental car issues that took several hours to correct. Linda was gracious enough to extend our check out to allow time for them to fix the car issues and then get back to the house to pack up. We will definitely be coming back!

Alex's home was absolutely perfect! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with adorable homes and sidewalks. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The home is even prettier in person, and sooo spacious. Alex is extremely attentive, and a genuinely amazing host. I recommend this gorgeous home to everyone and we look forward to staying here again!

It was a lovely weekend getaway eith my kids. Lots to do and easy to relax. We are so glad we found this place.

Great location convenient and in driving distance from davidson and charlotte. Very fun with pool and hot tub. Comfy and fun place to stay!

We had an absolute blast here for my “girls gone mild” bachelorette party! We ate at tons of local restaurants and spent the rest of the time in the pool, on the dock, and in the beautiful living rooms! There was plenty of space for everyone and beautiful accommodations! In the hot sun, the unheated pool felt very refreshing! I WILL be staying here again!

Jessica’s place was perfect. We rented the home to attend a wedding nearby and wanted to spend some time relaxing in between. The home was spotless and had the most comfortable beds. We made breakfast in the mornings and had all of the kitchen tools needed. The kitchen and bath are wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the dock and on the back porch. Paddle boarding was also so much fun. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing time on the water!! You really are missing out if you don’t stay here at least once. We can’t wait to go back.

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

Had an amazing time at the 1970’s capsule. Our grown children came from different parts of the country to visit their grandparents ( our parents). It was such a cute, cozy place. Kitchen was very well stocked. We tried to bring much of our own stuff to prepare thanksgiving dinner, but found much more stuff there that we were able to use. Everything was very clean and looked as described. Rhonda communicated with us very efficiently. Her directions were very clear. Thank you for a great time.

We loved staying here! This house is in a wonderful spot on the lake and has so many amazing amenities. We loved playing in the game room and hanging out on the dock. We would recommend this house to everyone we know!

Wonderful place to enjoy the lake. From the hot tub, fire pit and kayaks we enjoyed it all. We fished from the dock, some catching their first!! The optional pontoon boat rental was icing on the cake! We made great family memories.

Tora was so nice! She left a sweet note, along with recommendations and a bottle of wine! The place was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and I stay in several a year!! It was so cute inside!!!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The property is absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to relax and recharge. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming from start to finish. You can tell they really care about their guests’ experience. We truly didn’t want to leave and would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene lakefront getaway!

We had a wonderful stay, everything was excellent. This vacation we stayed at 3 air bnbs total and this was by far our favorite. Thank you so much for your hospitality!! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The place was very nice and met our needs. We feel the price was more than we anticipated after seeing the cleaning fees and other fees added, you learn from other places we've stayed in the past that the cost was our biggest issue. We only had a full day and a half with the family which we felt could have been a longer stay for what we paid. Anyway it is a very nice place for those that have bigger pockets.

Well what can I say. 10 days by the lake did not disappoint. The house is great and the location just amazing. The house had everything we needed for our stay. it was just needing an ironing board. I messaged Giovanni to ask where it was and they had one delivered the same day. Fantastic. The squirrels in the garden kept us entertained when out there on the decking. Will definitely book again if we go back. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home. 5 🌟

Wonderful stay, we had so much fun with the kayak, paddle boards, swimming off the dock! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed!
