Vacation rentals with a balcony in Santa Croce, Florence

This place is a gem. A very nice apartment for a small group, with an amazing view from the upstairs terrace. Emanuele was an awesome host and he provided various suggestions on food, restaurants, activities, etc. we were very pleased with the thoroughness of his check in process and the tour he gave us. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence.

We stayed here as three couples and it was ideal. Location was convenient, just a few minutes by foot from the station. The place is sparkling clean and there is an en-suite bathroom, AC and a TV in all the rooms. There was even a half bath with the laundry room. Eddj was very friendly and responsive. Thank you for being flexible to our check in and out times! The only thing to take note of here is that there are two sets of house keys, so some coordination is required if you’re going out in more than 2 groups.

The best place I could find in Florence. The location is fantastic! 20 steps from the station. Also the view (which isn’t shown in the images) is stunning from His apartment. This was our first stop for our trip and it just couldn’t have been better. It matched the romantic energy of Florence. Definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Id love to come back here soon when I visit Florence again :)

A wonderful, comfortable and stylish place to stay in Florence. Daniela met us and took us through everything then met us again at the end of our 6 night stay to assist with taxi to airport. Great communication and generous amenities. We had expected larger “terraces” or at least one, but there were small balconies that could sit only two people. However, it was modern and had everything as described, and otherwise spacious for its amazing location in the old town. Shops, restaurants and amazing sights all around us. Fantastic stay!

Great place to stay a short walking distance from the main attractions! Beautiful views of the city from the private terrace, and plenty of space.

This beautiful and spacious apartment on the Piazza del Carmine was an absolute highlight for our family of four adults while staying six nights in Florence. The location was off the beaten track but an easy walk to everything. (And there is a small grocery store around the corner which was so convenient!) The apartment is on the top floor of a corner building so it was quiet and the views of the piazza and surrounding neighborhood were lovely. We were greeted by Arlene who showed us around and brought us a tray of cold water upon entering the apartment. (Much appreciated in the August heat, as was the air conditioning!) There are 75 steps into the apartment, but Arlene’s colleague brought our bags up for us. We had no issues with the stairs any time during our stay. Arlene came back twice during our six nights to clean and tidy the place. Giulio arranged a taxi for us to the airport on the day of our departure. He was great to work with. We highly recommend this AirBnB!

What a welcoming host and a comfortable apartment! I stayed here January 2025 so it was chilly in Florence. The apartment was cozy and a great place to come back to after visiting all that Florence has to offer. Note: 1) there is a spiral staircase (which I loved), but if you have mobility issues this could be a problem. This is a perfect place for 2 people.

What an amazing stay! The location is quiet and peaceful, the views are absolutely amazing and "wow" you as soon as you arrive! The garden is large and partially sloped and the freshwater swimming pool (not heated) is at the bottom. There are two undercover seating areas in the garden and enough sun loungers and seats to comfortably seat everyone. The house is on two levels and feels quirky at first, but you soon get used to it. Downstairs is more like a "granny flat" but has all you need (fridge freezer, bedroom, dining room, bathroom w/shower). Upstairs has two double bedrooms and one twin, plus two more bathrooms. A lovely dining room and kitchen (with all appliances/utensils) you need made the house absolutely perfect for six adults, two toddlers and an infant. There are no larger shops within 20 minutes drive, so stock up well when you do go shopping. Communication with host was extraordinary. So quick and helpful and really appreciated. Absolutely amazing holiday!

Beautiful villa surrounded by vineyards and countryside. The nearby village of Panzano is so picturesque with lovely restaurants. I can also recommend visiting other Chianti towns and especially the market on a Saturday in Greve. The hosts Filippo and his father Carlo couldn't do enough for us and the communication was superb. The villa is so spacious and makes you feel right at home with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a garden with a pool that's just the icing on the cake. It was very warm during our visit and the fans provided were very welcomed. Every room is also equipped with mosquito nets on the windows. We made use of the large BBQ a few nights and also had a lovely wine tasting one evening which I can highly recommend. We were very sad to leave Villa Reggine and hope to return one day. Grazie!

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

I can’t say enough positive about this apartment. I’ve been staying with Airbnb since the beginning and this has to be in the top 1%. You’re located near the central area without it being noisy, actually the place is very quiet. Modern on the inside and very old world in the courtyard. The rooftop balcony is charming as can be. The hosts’ communication is perfect and very helpful. The place is incredibly clean and so well equipped, even with an inviting bottle of wine on the counter. So many great touches so many things they thought through. So this is probably one of the most perfect Airbnb I’ve ever seen. If it’s available, it’s crazy for you not to book their unit. Easy 5 stars.

Joy (the owner) is a joy! She is one of the best hosts we’ve had on this platform. Flexible checking, due to delayed flight. Rooms were bigger than anticipated and beautiful. Lovely rustic Tuscan charm of a property. Plenary of recommendations at the property for local restaurants and activities. Can’t recommend this property enough!

The stay was amazing, the Host Luciano was very nice and forthcoming about any inquiry we had. I can recommend the place to anybody who wants to have a nice, chill time in the hills of central Tuscany.

Our stay at the house was perfect. The old house is absolutely charming and the pool was ideal for the hot weather. The house is really private and nice for a cozy vacation.

We where met by the owners , talked through the villa, got directions to and from our venue As we arrived late we needed to eat, they found us a local restaurant and booked our table. They gave us two other restaurant recommendations, both of which we used , one of them twice. Incredible value for great fresh food, pizza and pasta.

Asso's Place was the perfect home for our family in Florence!  The most luxurious Air BnB we've found to date - with original paintings, a generous supply of records, DVDs, and books galore.  The Duomo felt so close that we could reach out the window and touch it. The location was walking distance from all the major attractions and excellent restaurants. Piero and Raffaela were perfect hosts, reaching out to us with information about restaurants, shopping, and sites to visit, and answering every question quickly. Raffaella greeted us in person and pointed out important features of the apartment.  All of our needs were met to perfection.

Lorenzo was the kindest and sweetest host and this apartment is in the most perfect location to explore Florence. The entire place is absolutely beautiful and the bathrooms are modern and well appointed and the kitchen is perfectly stocked with anything you need including coffee :) Lorenzo went way out of his way to greet us and make sure we weee well taken care of from start to finish . Highly recommend!!!

Martina was so kind and helpful, she even gave us a brief tour of the apartment upon check in. She ensured we knew where everything was located and she has a binder of any information needed. We enjoyed the seating area in front for breakfast and coffee. We loved how close the apartment is from the train station so we could walk to and from to save us time and some money. The location is very walkable to many restaurants, shops and sights. We loved that there is a grocery store near by and also a "sight seeing bus" stop around the corner. We found the bedding comfortable and the apartment felt safe. Everything is very nice and ready for guests who may decide to have a meal in vs going out too.

The apartment is perfect for a short stay in Florence, it's in a perfect location (Santa Croche Basilica is practically next door) with all the other sights being within walking distance. The bed was super comfy, we found everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom was spotless. We would come back to stay again :)

My wife and I stayed here on part of our Honeymoon and everything was truly amazing. Federico was always responsive, helpful, and extremely kind and welcoming. The location is perfect to see everything you need in Florence.

My family had a wonderful stay in Patrizia’s loft. She is a perfect host and provided an abundance of information. The apartment is charming and comfortable. The location is convenient to major attractions. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.
