Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San Francisco

Was a great little place near downtown San Jose, just what we needed! Perfect little place for us just visiting for the weekend, had everything we needed, blankets linens, etc. I’ll definitely be staying there again!

Beautiful home, inside and out. Very spacious, open layout, kitchen is well equipped, backyard is beautiful. Various seating options and lots of toys for children to play with, and clear instructions on how to use everything. It was just what we needed for our vacation, Julia’s home is definitely family friendly.

Absolutely loved this hidden little spot. It was just off the road and a fantastic location for anyone who wants to go to Tomales Point or Point Reyes, but still be close to Inverness Park or Point Reyes Station. The yard is enclosed and perfect for my pups to explore and relax in without worrying about getting out. House was quiet and neat. Rooms were spacious and clean. Internet was fast which I needed. Also really appreciate Meg, super responsive host! Every message I received and answer very quickly, which surprised me it was so fast. Instructions to get to the property and is due were easy to follow, plenty of towels and washcloths, and nice big kitchen to use. All in all, it was a beautiful property, super responsive and friendly host, and a wonderful quiet place to spend time off. Will come again!

We enjoyed our stay at Guliz’s place. The house is as described. The house had plenty of towels and linens to stay warm, coffee, basic spices, etc. The layout was perfect for us and our in-laws. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and our toddler loved it too. We would definitely stay here again. It was walking distance to Poplar beach and close to stores and Lemos Farm.

It's a very nice place to stay, away from the city but a quick drive away. The house itself feels very roomy and the outside is beautiful with open fields and Alpacas. The stunning beaches are just minutes away! The beds aren't the best, but workable. The booking process is through a different site which feels corporate-y with every request having a price and needing to sign additional waivers and identity verifications required. The floodlight camera in the backyard is facing the sliding glass door which doesn't have any curtains and feels like I could be watched sleeping on the sofa bed in the loving room. If you can get past all that, this is a great location!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Erin’s place! The room was so personalized and comfortable. There were many good restaurants near by and it was easy to get around. I would recommend this stay ☺️

decent location, roomy, functional, host is responsive. appliances and bathrooms could use upgrading and some cleaning. overall would recommend and it's sensible option for a stay. you're also close to palo Alto. host is very responsive and they accommodated a slightly late checkout!

Don & Lori are such incredible hosts! Our trip ended up being shorter than anticipated, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. I was traveling with my dog & foster dog and the park across the street was so perfect! The neighborhood was so peaceful and walkable and we had such a peaceful night’s rest. The home felt like staying with a family member and had so many great touches of home and the hosts communication was exceptional. I arrived late in the dark & they put out a welcome sign for me so I knew I was in the right place. Highly recommend and will def stay here again when I come back for a longer workshop!

I had a magic few days at Lori and Mike's. I drive a VW passat and I found the drive up the mountain to be non-challenging and even very fun by the end. The hosts are cool and easy to get along with. A+ doggo. Hot tub was great. Pool was fun. I usually stay in SF when I'm in the Bay Area. This was much more lovely and relaxing, with SF close enough that going in for dinner or a show felt like it wasn't a big deal. 100% would recommend this place. I brought my cat and had my lady friend with me for a night. Everyone loved it.

We enjoyed our stay in Clayton while our home was for sale. The location is wonderful with an easy walk to downtown Clayton and all its wonderful restaurants. We took advantage of the easy access to many walking trails which our pups r joyed as much as we did!

I booked this home for my colleagues from overseas, and they had a fantastic stay. The host was highly professional and responsive, promptly addressing all requests and ensuring everyone’s comfort throughout their visit. Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

Had a great stay! Only a 10 minute drive to the San Jose Convention center, so it was. a great option for the weekend. Very peaceful neighborhood with plenty of parking.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

I had a great stay at Tina’s place. The Airbnb is a private side entrance room with an attached bath, located within the main house. The space was clean, cozy, and just as described. The neighborhood is fantastic for walking dogs—the grid-like arrangement of roads and lanes offers multiple routes between locations, so my dogs were always entertained. Tina was a really helpful and welcoming host, making the stay easy and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient spot!

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

We had a lovely stay! access to the Sauna and Hot tub made for a memorial stay. Elizabeth had prompt and clear communication through the process. We would stay again when in the area!

Was a great option for close proximity to the Google campus which is where we needed to be. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and walkable. It’s evident they are very involved with the beautiful landscaping and gardening on/around the property therefore notable tree pollen/allergens during the spring time. Overall a cute, cozy, and darling stay!

Jeff’s lovely place is right on Stinson beach. The view from the living room/kitchen is amazing. I loved seeing the ocean and beach in different lights, quite early in the morning, and hearing the waves crash at night. The building and apartment are very well-kept and were exceptionally clean. Jeff was very accommodating of a special request we had. Also, you can walk 5 minutes down the beach to the center of Stinson beach town for shops, restaurants, ice cream. I stayed with my kid and felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Sherry was an exceptionally thoughtful, kind, and responsive host. She replied almost immediately to any questions I had and made sure that I was always comfortable in the Cottage. It was well stocked, kept very clean, and had everything I needed for a three month stay. I couldn't recommend Sherry or this property more highly.
