Sandy Vacation Rentals

Just booked in Sandy

"Glamping at its' best"! 16' x 16', suspended between 3 large fir trees, it has a queen size bed, loft w/2 twin beds, gravity-fed water, RV-type commode, much more, situated on 20 acres with a pond. Heated, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. IMPORTANT: this is a Tree House! So uneven, spiral staircase... pack in small bags (or packs) large suitcases are not appropriate. Make sure to look at the pictures and read our reviews... that will give you the most information. Happy Travels!
The Tree House sits on our 20-acre property at the base of Mt. Hood (about an hour east off downtown Portland - a great city to explore!). We are 30 minutes west of Ski Bowl and the Mt. Hood National Forrest. It is really sweet. There is a wood spiral staircase that goes up to the Treehouse. The Tree House is approximately 200 square feet, with an 8'x10' sleeping loft. The main floor has a queen bed, bistro table, reading chair, mini frig, coffee maker, microwave, RV toilet and cold water sink. There is a seating area below the Treehouse as well, so you can sit and enjoy the outdoors even if it is raining (a good thing in Oregon). Picnic table (not covered) and gas grill are available for your use. If you like camping or backpacking, you will love the treehouse. It is 'Glamping' (Glamorous Camping). If you prefer more amenities (like porcelain toilets and a shower, check out the guest cottage on our property, also listed on AirBnB). This is a unique property, please view "House Rules" prior to booking.
The Neighborhood We are mid-way between Sandy and Welches on the flanks of Mt. Hood. We are six miles from town (Sandy) so it is quiet. Most neighbors have acreage properties. The area is forested and beautiful. There is another guest cottage (also listed on AirBnB), a pond cottage, and our personal home.
  • FANTASTIC! The pictures are good but they don't do the treehouse justice! The owners like to refer to the experience as 'glamping' but we have stayed in top-of-the-line hotels with fewer amenities and less comfortable bedding. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and we are already making plans to go back. And the activities! Our son and his friend -- a couple of very active 11 year olds -- never tired of the Zipline, canoeing, tree swing, and other activities, and this was on a rainy September weekend. The adults enjoyed the fresh air, great coffee, and seeing all the inventive ways Dave and Hollis have mastered recreation in the Mt Hood foothills. Easy to get to, close to the slopes and to Sandy, this place has it all.

  • What hospitality! From the minute we set foot on the property we were greeted by warmth. Hollis, took the time to explain the property and the tree house for us. The families friendly dogs kept us company as we explored their great pond and enjoyed the gas fire place at night. The treehouse experience is a must if you're looking for something rustic but still with the conveniences of home, and my partner and I felt that exact way, like we were at an extension of home. Thank you Hollis & Dave for welcoming us to Sandy Oregon for a memorable vacation :)

  • Hollis and Dave were wonderful hosts! Oh course, Henry melted our hearts and we were immediately in love with him! The place is truly as magical as described - and THEN some! So many fun activities on site, and you would never guess it's within a 30-minute drive to the city. Seize this opportunity if you can! It was a wonderful way to push the "reset" button in our hectic lives.

  • We expected something special but the experience was really unique. You have to go to believe it! It was perfection! If you are looking for a tree house, this is THE one. The house is cozy, warm and the bed very comfy up in the tree with nice windows that let you have a nice view on the park! Being in this warm place and looking at the rain was the best feeling ever. Seating and eating dinner at night by the fire was pretty awesome! We also enjoyed walking around in the huge playground and admired the pond. The place is incredibly beautiful and peaceful! Don't forget your camera! Holly's dogs are very friendly and we had fun playing with them! :) We drove from Portland, it was the perfect gateway for a night! I recommend it for long weekend! Better in real for sure than the pictures! Holly is very helpful and kind, answered all our questions and gave us some good tips to hike around! We were very happy about this airbnb and it's probably the best stay I encountered so far! We wished we stayed longer... but we will be back! ;)

  • Hollis and Dave have created a dream scene retreat! We stayed in the tree house and everything was so clean, so accessible and SO magical. They take cue from their guests as to the amounts of interactions and we took full advantage of their amazing company and hospitality. We were able to go to nearby nature site-seeing utopias while spending late afternoons and evenings back on the property, zip lining into their pond and watching film screenings in the great outdoors with their family. The tree house was warm and cozy and the beds were like soft clouds downstairs and more firm up in the loft so everyone was accommodated and happy. We are specifically making future plans in the region just to come back to this exact space and play with all the dogs again! I cannot recommend this airbnb enough!

  • Wow! what a special place. My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first air bnb-ers to stay in this tree house. We were very excited, but I can easily say the tree house exceeded our expectations, the pictures really don't do it justice, and there were so many fun surprises that we weren't expecting. First off, the tree house is more much comfortable than you would expect a tree house to be, Hollis has thought of everything: super comfy bed, plenty of lighting, 2 heaters, mini fridge, snacks, drinks, coffee maker, microwave, loft with 2 more beds, plenty of seating, paper products for eating, giant windows, a propane grill, and a bunch more. We were expecting to rough it a little more, but ended up being beyond comfortable. Second, the property is amazing. The pond is beautiful, there are kayaks and a zip line. There are tons of fun activities including frisbee golf, horse shoes, a big swing, not to mention, lots of space to explore. And best of all their friendly dog Henry is always excited to escort you around the property. Third, Hollis and Dave are wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating, helping us with recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Since the tree house doesn't have a shower or kitchen she offered to give us access to the guest house. Hollis and Dave love where they live, and you can tell they just want to share it with other people.

  • This treehouse truly is magical. What a wonderful place to spend a couple cozy nights listening to the rain on the metal roof to put us to sleep. The craftsmanship is incredible and it is really a work of art down to the railings and light fixtures. It is very comfortable and is the perfect place to be if you're looking to spend a few days relaxing. My girlfriend and I went skiing on Mt. Hood during the days and played board games in the treehouse in the evenings. The propane heater had the place heated up within minutes of us getting back from the slopes which was awesome. It was pretty dreary outside while we were there so I can't speak to much of the rest of the property - it looks like it would be a fun place to be in the summer with lots to do - but it didn't matter because where better to be on a rainy weekend than in a cozy treehouse!

    Daniel2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is everything you would hope. Hollis and Dave have done a great job with the whole property. We loved the seclusion as well as the many amenities on the 20-acre spread. We hiked in their woods, took their advice on which hikes to take at Mt. Hood, rode the zipline into their spring-fed pond, and played the games they have out on the lawn and in the treehouse. It's a beautiful place.

Come stay in a Tiny House getaway in the country half way between Mt. Hood Skiing & Portland Nightlife. You will be surrounded by the natural wonders of farm life, horses, peacocks, goats & friendly cats all here to brighten your stay at Corbett Farm
*** Please Note*** During the winter months (Jan, and Feb) if the temps are expected to drop below freezing the water is shut off in the tiny house. In the off chance that temps are below freezing when you arrive the Tiny House remains cozy and the main farm house is available at your convenience for use of the kitchen and a private bathroom. The tiny house is a one of a kind design. It is a simple home with a cabin feel. The walls are tongue and groove cedar panelling giving the space a wonderful scent. A sleeping loft with sitting height ceiling (for most) is reached by a ladder to a comfortable Queen size mattress made locally with organic cotton. All sheets and bedding are also organic cotton. The house is insulated with natural wool keeping the house cool in the summer and cozy in the winter months. Two skylights in the house give you a feeing of being perched in the trees. This particular tree is also a common evening roosting spot for the farms peacock inhabitants. Don't be alarmed if you see one peaking in while you are cooking breakfast. The small kitchen contains basic amenities. It has a dorm size refrigerator with mini freezer, electric water kettle, toaster, gas stove/oven, and sink. The toilette is a simple bucket composting system and should not smell with proper maintenance. Each guest will be asked to remove their toilet waste from the tiny house upon leaving. This is simple and is not as bad as it may sound. Their will be clear instructions in the house on your arrival. For your bathing needs a small shower is also inside. The hot water comes from the 10 gal. water tank and takes less than 30min to reheat. All shampoo and soap amenities are provided for your use. If you do decide to use personal soaps please make sure it is biodegradable because the house grey water is used for farm watering. All house cleaning products are non toxic and biodegradable. Bedding is cleaned with non scented hypoallergenic soaps and air dried.
Woods and Small Farms Higher Elevation en route to Mt. Hood. Numerous rivers and streams, good fishing nearby, Hiking & Biking Trails abound.
  • My boyfriend and I requested a stay very last minute and wanted to experience a tiny home stay. Wanting to be surprised by the little things, we didn't read too much into what this home offered. We were absolutely blown away by our time on Stuart's farm. After a week of camping it was so wonderful waking up to a hot shower, hot coffee and animals singing to us. This is a gem, really, and it will not be our last visit. Thank you Stuart! Our souls feel refreshed and inspired!

    Amanda2016-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • I had such a special stay in this tiny home; the pictures don't do it justice! The home (expertly designed, exceedingly charming) is on a beautiful property and very close to some of Oregon's most beautiful nature. Stuart is a FANTASTIC host. He's agreeable, wicked friendly, accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. I suggest that anyone who comes to Oregon consider staying here. I certainly hope to return someday soon!

    Amy2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stuart is one of those natural hosts. He has a great feel for people and makes you feel at home right away. You can tell that he loves sharing his farm with others, and that makes staying there extra enjoyable. I spent a rainy weekend at the tiny house, and it was the perfect cozy getaway. The next morning when the sun came out and Stuart took me on an amazing trail ride through the woods around the property. The area -- and the farm, itself -- was absolutely idyllic. This was my favorite Airbnb experience. I will be back!

    Hannah 2015-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Stuart's tiny house was just what we were looking for!! It was so close to Mt Hood and our weekend adventure spots and just so cozy and comfortable. We were welcomed by Stuart, his friends, and his friendly menagerie of animals! He showed us around the property and made us feel right at home! The house itself was great. Stuart and his friends bent over backwards to help us later in the night when we had a little issue with the sink backing up. These things happen of course and - and it didn't cramp our style at all! Thanks, Stuart and Co for a wonderful weekend!

    Jenny2016-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home and farm are BEAUTIFUL. Stuart makes you feel right at home, letting you roam the farm and hang out with the animals as you please. The property is right next to a ton of hiking trails, and the views of and around the farm are breathtaking. The tiny home is exceptionally clean and well-equipped. I was able to make a full dinner and breakfast during my stay. This farm is perfect for any guest, and I will definitely be coming back. Thanks, Stuart!

    Bridget2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Stuart was so kind and helpful. We felt welcomed from the very beginning! The little cabin is very clean and cheerful with natural wood and gorgeous light streaming from the windows. My kids loved hanging out with the cats, peacocks and goats! I loved relaxing in the hammock! I cannot wait to stay again and my kids are super excited about riding the horses next time. Thank you Stuart!

    Jodie2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house was so cool! It was perfect for a stop along our road trip. Having the animals around in the morning was really cool - the peacocks, cat, horses, and goats were all very friendly. This was a really great experience and my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. We had to work a bit during the day and the wifi was a bit rocky, but working was a pleasure in this environment.

    Ricky2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing stay at the tiny house! Stuart's farm is a magical getaway and the house was very comfortable, especially the bedding! We had a beautiful trail ride the next morning, look forward to my next stay!

Private Guest Cottage on Horse Farm Sanctuary. 30 miles East of Portland, foot-hills of Mt. Hood. Close to Sandy & Colombia Rivers. Ski, Snowboard Mt. Hood, Fish, Ride. Trail Rides & Riding Lessons available upon request for a very reasonable fee.
When I was kid I used to love reading about Horseback Riding Holidays in England and Ireland. Well how about that very same thing just outside of Portland? Welcome to Corbett Farm.
The neighborhood is best described as calm and tranquil. Lots of trees, fresh air and horses. If you enjoy fishing you are close to both the Sandy and Colombia Rivers. Dec/Jan-May/June the farm is a great spot for folks who want to ski or snowboard Mt. Hood and also spend time in Portland.
  • Let's just say that this listing and host are simply AIRMAZING!!!! I love this listing right down to the welcome card we received! From the sounds of the peacocks to the smell of the horses and the sound of sprinklers watering the garden it is so peaceful and relaxing. The day before we got there one of the horse had a baby( so tiny and special to enjoy)! There where baby peacocks running around as well that just bring a smile to your face. The little black kitty cat who spent the morning time with me giving me loves was so special to me. Inside the listing it was nothing but pure bliss nice and clean and organized. I think my favorite thing inside the listing had to be the trash cans( horse watering pails) a very unique touch to bring the outside in! Stuart was a pleasure to meet and be around. He is someone special that has a gift for hosting guests. My boyfriend and I will sure be back to enjoy this slice of heaven!

  • Our host was incredibly kind and easy going. Finding the place was a breeze and our GPS was 100% accurate. The property was more than what we expected and was well-tended and beautiful. The location was peaceful and mere miles from plenty of hikes and scenic viewpoints. We couldn't have been happier.

  • My family & I really enjoyed our stay at 'Peacocks & Ponies' (Corbett Farm). We loved getting to spend some time with the animals & sampling some fruit/veggie from the garden. Our toddler daughter loved interacting with the pets & getting to see the baby horses. We met Stuart on the second day & he was very friendly & helpful. He brought out the largest horse, Mayday, for our daughter to sit on. The apartment/cottage itself was clean & new. We appreciated the couple of items left in the refrigerator. I left a shoe behind & Stuart contacted me & offered to send it, which I really appreciated..! We definitely hope to return to Corbett Farm when our daughter is a little older : )

    Sheena2015-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • I had an amazing time and was not disappointed by the Peacocks and Ponies. The little apartment above the garage was really nice and comfortable. Stuart was an amazing host and took us on a great horse ride around the property. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

We have the best of both worlds here in Corbett. Portland is about a 30 minute drive. We are less than 20 minutes from amazing waterfall hikes, fishing, 1 hour from skiing, class 3/4 river rafting, kite boarding, and wind surfing in the gorge. You can hike the Pacific Crest Trail- only 30 minutes from our home.
You'll have the entire bottom floor all to yourselves, with a private entry. Super comfortable queen size bed with private bath. Relax here on the two large couches with a flat screen TV and Netflix. 6 large windows and a glass slider door looking out over our 5 acre pasture. It also has a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Linens, soap, and shampoo are also provided. Also, has A/C and heat. Private living area is approx. 800 square feet. If you have more than two in your party, we have a Coleman Premium Double High 18" Airbed that we will set up for you. If you enjoy fishing, the Sandy River is just down the road from us. You can catch salmon and steel head. We're happy to lend you our BBQ when you return with your catch! Just 20 minutes from here is the town of Gresham. Its population is just over 100K. The downtown has some really great restaurants and cool shops. You can also go on a 20 mile bike ride from Gresham to downtown Portland. It's one long, well maintained bike/walking path. Even closer, less than 15 minutes away, is the quaint, old town of Troutdale. It's population is just over 16K. The downtown has some great restaurants, fun antique stores, and an outlet mall. Less than a mile from there is a major outdoor concert venue that's mainly operational in the summer time. Past performers include Adele, Heart, Bob Dylan, Fun, Willie Nelson, The Pretenders, Sugarland, Norah Jones, Steve Miller, ZZ Top, Tony Bennett, Michael Franti, Train, Sheryl Crow, and many others. Leaving here to the I-84 on-ramp is about 10 minutes. A 30 minute drive to the west on I-84 will take you to downtown Portland or heading east takes you to the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Also, the airport is 25 minutes away. Portland offers diverse cultural experiences- awesome restaurants, entertainment (plays, concerts, etc.) great stores and charming neighborhoods. Very bike friendly! Beautiful clean city! The Columbia River Gorge offers many unbelievable hiking trails (many with waterfalls), river rafting, kite boarding and wind surfing. Skiing is about an hour drive from here on Mt. Hood. ( Timberline, Mt. Hood Meadows and Mt. Hood Skibowl). Skibowl has the largest night skiing terrain in the country. Come enjoy!
Two charming, small, country stores are within 3 miles (Corbett Country Store & Big Bear Country Market). Big Bear's has a small restaurant inside of it. The other has sandwiches, ribs, etc. All of our neighbors have about 5-50 acres.... peaceful and lots of space.
  • Rob & Wendy are the most gracious hosts. They welcomed us in their home as strangers and we left 2 days later as friends. They are exemplary examples of why airbnb is so successful. We enjoyed our visits that we had them. They gave us great info about the hikes and waterfalls in the area and where to go for dinner too. The guest room was just as described and impeccably clean. We hope to stay with you again and that you will visit us when you our down are way.

    John2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wendy and Rob are the greatest hosts. I felt welcomed and comfortable for the entire stay. The room is really spacious and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking to be near a ton of outdoor activity, but want to feel like you are home when you come back for the night.

    Aaron2016-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay with the kindest hosts! Our accommodations were beautiful, quiet, cozy and really lovely. Great space yo watch a movie, super comfy bed, and a fabulous spot outside to have our coffee in the morning and just look out over their beautiful little farm. The location is perfect... Short drive to great hikes, epic views of the Columbia gorge and waterfalls, and The Edgedfield for dinner. If you want a great spot to relax, feel welcomed like you are family, and explore some beautiful Oregon landscapes..... Book this place now!

    Karen2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Take a landscape that looks out over a pasture to a red barn, mix it with the colors of green, gold, auburn, a hint of blue, faded red and maybe a tinge of orange, and you’ve got the setting. Embellish that with a beautiful buckskin horse named Keeno who has a following of 2 alpacas and a sheep, who follow him over a footbridge to the outlying pasture.sss sThat’s the natural environment surrounding you. And then you get to stay in a cozy, warm and welcoming apt. that looks out onto that beauty! Couple that with your hosts, Wendy and Robert, who are open, welcoming and genuine in their hospitality and love of where they live. sIf you choose to go there, you will find the magic!sss\

    Ruth2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent accommodations, beautiful location, nice amenities. Peaceful, quiet rural location. Had a wonderful stay.

  • Rob and Wendy were welcoming and helpful from the moment we first started communicating. Their home is located in a beautiful and quiet part of Oregon. There is much to marvel at around the house as well as the gorge just minutes drive away. Wendy made sure my boyfriend and I had anything and everything we needed and also took time to leave us some special notes and candy for our anniversary weekend. The bottom level, where the Airbnb is located, is open floor and very cozy. The couches are perfect for watching something on the tv they have set up and the pool table is even more fun! It was clean, comfortable, beautiful and well worth the trip. I highly recommend booking with Wendy and Rob, for I made some great new friends and will most definitely be booking with them again.

They prepared some snacks like fruit and popcorn for us. The house location is good also. It is just near the hiking place, which you can enjoy waterfalls. We highly recommended.

    Amanda2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Valerie and William were wonderful hosts. This was honestly one of the best outfitted Air BnBs I've stayed in. The room is clean and brand new, the towels and sheets are top notch, and there is every kind of soap and bath product you could ever need! Val and William even helped me find the best route out of town in the midst of an ice storm. They get anything you need. 10/10!!!!!

    Amanda2017-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and were road-tripping through Oregon. We contacted Valerie on our way down towards Portland, and she quickly responded to our questions about check in. If you're looking for a place close to Portland, William and Valerie's place is about 35-40 minutes away, but the little town of Sandy is a great place to get out and walk around. Valerie provided us with suggestions of local places to eat during our stay which were very delicious! Their studio is situated on the side of their house with a private entry and plenty of privacy (and VERY clean!). They included some food and coffee for a small breakfast during our stay and had a lot of magazines and brochures of things to do while in Oregon. We loved staying here and would absolutely recommend staying here if you're in the area!

Valerie and William were very friendly and helpful. They respected out privacy but were there when we needed anything. We were pleased to find muffins, candies, coffee, etc. waiting for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Welcome to Sandy Oregon!
    76 reviews
Sandy's first and only Tiny House! Although this home is located just a mile from Hwy 26 within Sandy's city limits, it's located on a private 23 acres, so you'll feel completely secluded. This makes it the perfect place to stay while visiting the Mt. Hood area. The tiny house was built to capture the amazing view of Mt. Hood. The home was designed around a moving window wall system that completely opens to the outdoors allowing for one of the best views of Mt. Hood. We hope you enjoy!!!
This is the first and only Tiny house in the Sandy area! A unique cabin feel made with natural cedar siding, reclaimed hardwood floors and doors, live edge counters, and beautiful craftsman handiwork throughout. There is no place like it!! For a cheaper option, but with the same view(but no kitchen and attached to our main house), check out or other listing at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/11555513
This beautiful tiny house is located in Sandy city limits with restaurants and stores nearby, but on a remote 23 acres. 30 minutes from Mt. Hood and skiing. 10 minutes from world class hiking/mountain biking. Also only 40 minutes to downtown Portland and PDX airport. The perfect in between location for outdoorsy adventure and city glam! We live just a mile off highway 26 but at the end of a short private road out on a bluff. It is very remote and extremely quite!!!
  • Wow, where is the 10 star button. You will love the Tiny house the moment you walk in. All your stresses don't exist once you see the view. You have everything you need. Kim even provides a few storage containers and zip-lock baggies. There are plenty of stores near by to stock the frigid. The drive to Portland is easy and just far enough. My husband and I wanted a quiet place to stay and that is exactly what we got. Just a few frogs and crickets at night to serenade you to sleep. We slept with the glass patio door open each night. This door is nearly the entire wall. Genius! Nothing to obstruct your view of the valley. We sat each morning drinking our tea and eating breakfast at the table enjoying the view. The place is absolutely perfect and Kim is a wonderful host. It's the Tiny House with a big heart and personality. We will be back many times.

  • Beautiful home, just tucked away for privacy. The views are as good as the photos. Kim has provided lots of great info, all of the amenities you'd need, and the home itself is really lovely. I read by the fire, enjoyed coffee looking out at the mountain - a relaxing, clean, beautiful little space.

  • We had a great time. We stayed one night and had everything we needed to enjoy a cozy evening and a nice morning. We found everything just as it was described and very clean. We enjoyed a slow breakfast spent looking out the huge windows watching the mist on the hills.

  • Absolutely amazing stay in the Tiny House with the wonderful view of Mt Hood. It was a big pleasure being the first guests in the Tiny House- Kim and Family are still towards the end of the construction phase with the House, but were kind enough to offer the availability when we needed room for a couple more than originally planned. The house in itself had some amazing details, such as full deck towards the view of Mt Hood, a full 4 section door that fully slides away towards the deck, all wooden countertops are handmade, recycled hardwood planks for the floors, some amazing walls constructed of either raw planks or stone manually assembled, small electronic/ gas (?) fireplace. Very nice (Tiny) bathroom, full new kitchen with all needed appliances and stove, microwave/ oven, toaster, coffee machine.... I am sure this Tiny House will be a great success- both for airbnb'ing, but also for friends and Family visiting. It can also be combined (when available) with the room rental with the same family and on the same property, 100 yards away... Please book long in advance :-) We were also very happy to visit Sandy a few times, as we were in for a wedding weekend in Mt Hood area and the Eclipse. One of our favorite places were Mt Hood Roasters in Rhododendron - great coffee, very nice people owning it/ employees and a sweer little hut on '26'. Thank you for having us and best of luck with the Tiny House!

  • This was the perfect "tiny house" with an amazing view and cozy culture. We will now become frequent visitors! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little getaway on an amazing property near town and Mt. Hood!

    Hannah2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful retreat in the mountains. Although we couldn't see Mt Hood because of the rainy weather, it was still beautiful to watch the mist roll in and out of the mountain range. We enjoyed this sweet getaway for an evening!

  • This place was fantastic! First time being in the Sandy area.. Was not disappointed! Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Oregon!

  • This place is awesome! We had a great sunny weather while we were there and Kim messaged us and prompted us to watch the sunrise, which was perfect. I love that the whole window wall opens up!

  • We could not have asked for anything more of the Sandy Guest House! From my beginning conversation with Bill he was always quick, friendly and thorough with his replies. The check in process could not have been more flawless and the house could not have been more inviting!! The house was absolutely spotless and decorated so inviting and homey. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for our stay ...and then some. The beds were very comfortable and the house was nice and quiet from any exterior noises. So many little hospitality effects were included (i.e. toothbrush/paste, loofa, games...and more!), and the charm of this adorable home made it a perfect stay!! It even has a downstairs theater room!! Thank you again, Bill, and we will definitely be contacting you for another stay in the near future!

  • The guest house at Teresa & Alan's is beautiful and newly renovated. It's a wonderful resting point after a visit to Mt. Hood. Teresa and Alan are both wonderfully hospitable too - and they have cute pet goats who ate peanuts out of our hands :)

    Juli2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Overall I do not think this was a positive experience for either party involved. We failed to communicate to the hosts that we had a fifth guest last minute, and we also upset the hosts by disclosing their address so we could meet with a couple friends who lived nearby for five minutes before we headed out to tour the mountains. The hosts made it clear that we would have to pay for our additional guest (no problem with this at all). They also communicated that our second car wasn't welcome, even though we had agreed to pay for the fifth guest. I'm not sure why the car wasn't welcome in the end. It felt like total miscommunication. We ended up feeling like our every little move was being scrutinized from that point forward in our stay, which didn't allow us to fully relax and enjoy the stay. I can only be left to assume that the hosts felt they were being taken advantage of. Even after we tried to reconcile and sort it out in a respectable way, the general feeling was that we were unwelcome. We left the space very neat and clean, as it was when we entered. The host kept reminding us about charges and the cost of showering, etc for five vs four people. We provided our own air mattress for the fifth person, and as for the showering situation, I think we took a total of 7 showers for the entire stay (3 nights, 5 people-7 showers total). We even camped at the wedding we were attending one night, so there was actually only one person from our group of 5 that slept in the studio on the last night. The place was neat and clean and probably perfect for two enjoying a weekend or what have you. I'm not sure if the hosts realized just how much they made our small group of 5 feel like children. In going forward, I have noted that the hosts should include a brief description of how the studio is located in their backyard, about 50 ft from their house, and also that they should note a strict policy with number of guests, as well as number of cars allowed on property and address disclosure.

  • You won't regret staying there at Teresa and Alan's beautiful and cozy Airbnb Studio! My goodness they have made a wonderful retreat, with modern and stylish decor! Comfortable bed ( a must have ) large closet with full length mirror! Everything about it is perfect Would definitely stay again! Even 3 adorable goats for entertainment! :)

  • Theresa and Alan's place was perfect! We were close to everything, yet had the privacy and serenity of being away from the hustle and bustle. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and cozy. We definitely recommend this place, and hope to be back again someday!

    Amy2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Simply the best Airbnb we have stayed at!! The studio is gorgeously, thoughtfully designed and extremely spacious--we felt completely relaxed and had fun making meals using the fully stocked kitchen, eating outside on the private patio, playing games and reading classic literature provided, and having a perfect sleep (the bed is amazing). The goats are gentle and friendly, and the hosts even nicer :) We had everything we needed for a peaceful stay and checkin was flawless. Thank you Alan and Teresa, we'd love to visit again!

    Jenny2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Teresa & Alan's studio. The space is very clean and modern - it had everything we needed! The location was great too, it put us in striking distance of both Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. It's hard to imagine many places as clean and modern as this one, while still maintaining a homey feel (complete with goats!). We hope to be back!

  • Teresa and Alan have carved out a great little place nestled in the woods between Portland and Bend (2 towns I travel to often). The space is modern with a rustic feel, clean, and cozy. I highly recommend staying here if passing thru with breakfast in the am at antFarm cafe down the street.

Our home is a balance of terraced gardens, stone paths, deck and Jacuzzi under a canopy of Cedar trees. Situated 25 min. from PDX, 35 min to Portland, we are the gateway to the Gorge, walking trails of the Sandy River, and 25 minutes from Mt. Hood.
The entire backyard of our property sits on the bank of Cedar Creek. A stunning Mt. Hood glacier sourced tributary that feeds into the Sandy River nearby. Walk out of the master bedroom right onto the deck overlooking the Creek. The dining room as well leads out directly onto the deck. Sit in the Jacuzzi on the deck, relax and watch the water flow downstream, or find your favorite reading spot on one of the several benches or swings on the property. Relax and read by the coy pond and small waterfall. The layout of the house is one of many vaulted ceilings, windows and natural light, creating a unique contemporary fusion with a fun rich palate of colors to warm you. There are two wood burning stoves. One is a fireplace insert in the family room and the other is a wood pallet stove in the dining room (each room including the bathroom has its own heaters, the house has been recently completely insulated) The master bedroom with a queen size bed, has a wall of windows looking out onto the creek, and the giant cedars in the backyard. You will fall asleep to the sounds of the creek rushing by. You have your own direct door access to the deck and the Jacuzzi. The 2nd bedroom is a fully functional den with a twin sofa that folds out into either 2 separate singles or one full size bed, there is a wall mounted internet compatible TV for you to use your Netflix, Hulu etc. The den has a desk with several full large monitors to check in at home or work as needed. There is high speed wireless internet throughout the house. (The internet speeds are suitable for financial trading, movie down streaming and gaming.) The 3rd bedroom is in most case will not be accessible - special request can be made. This bedroom has a loft with a Japanese full size futon, an electronic piano in the downstairs sitting area. The kitchen is fully functional and is open to the family room, with stools for counter eating (great for kids). The bathroom is heated with a claw foot tub. There is a full size utility room with washer and dryer. The garage is for the owner only, but there is plenty of parking on the drive way and 2nd driveway for three cars.
Single handily the greatest thing in our neighborhood, besides just relaxing on our property by the creek, is walking/driving to the next street over, down to the Salmon fish hatchery and all the wonderful salmon fishing spots up and down the banks of the Sandy River, or just to go for a walk and enjoy the serene beauty of the Sandy river away from the crowds.
  • We immediately felt that David is the kind of host who really wants his guests to be happy in his house. He sent welcoming emails and then took the time to meet up with us at the house to go through the "house rules". The house and its surroundings is just as described and shown on the pictures. Being a family with children, we particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the washing machine/dryer. The garden is just wonderful with the relaxing sound from the creek. On hot days, it is still nice and cool on the deck and cold evenings were spent in front of a warm fire in the fireplace. We stayed for several weeks and our privacy was always met with great respect. For us this was a perfect place; close to Portland, still being a true retreat. If you are looking for hotel luxury, this is not the place, but if you want to add a couple of quality days to your life this is the spot. We hope to come back.

    Annika2015-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • David's place was a great winter retreat for my family and I. It's perfectly located smack dab between Portland and Mt. Hood -- far enough away from the city to be peaceful, but close enough to be an easy drive. And getting to Mt. Hood is a breeze, too. The beds are very comfortable, and so are the pillows! Also, we enjoyed using the hot tub -- complete with a river view and huge pine trees stretching up above. Oh, and important to note for the winter: the heating system works very, very well. As for David himself, he's an incredibly helpful and communicative host. Before we left on our trip he gave us a call to explain how the fireplace and pellet stove worked, as well as give us tips about the area. He even made sure that we could reach him while he was on vacation in Nicaragua!

    Alexis2016-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place is a real retreat from the hustle and bustle of urban living. The only sound is the stream running right past the deck. The house is clean and has the basics plus top of the line appliances. Do note that if you have T-Mobile you won't get much cell service, but perhaps this is the point of spending sometime in the woods. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.

    Mark2015-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at the cabin on the river. The view from the back porch is amazing, with the sound of the creek we enjoyed breakfast on the deck. The cabin was a clean and comfortable place to stay for our family. We did not want to leave!

    Kim2014-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • David was a great host he was very welcoming and helpful from providing instructions on how to use his home appliances and Jacuzzi to helping us find restaurants and near by hikes. The creek side retreat is beautiful and it looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable and the house was cozy. The sound of the creek was very soothing and the environment was peaceful and relaxing. This is a great place to stay if you want to be out of the city and experience the out doors, but be fairly close to Portland. Everything about the creek side retreat was perfect we cant wait to come back stay again . Thanks for everything David see you next time

    Horacio2014-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • David's home outside of Sandy is lovely. It is well appointed and the landscaping is spectacular, particularly the creek and the trees. Some of the beds are quite hard and could use a foam topper to make them more comfortable. Otherwise I have no complaints. It is a lovely place to stay.

    Eloine2015-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • I can't think of a more relaxing and beautiful place! If you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene location, this is it! The deck overlooking the creek is a perfect place for morning coffee or a lounge in the hottub. The house is quite spacious and the biggest problem I could see if you had more than a few people is that there is only one small bathroom. We only had three people, so no issues for us, but something worth mentioning. Also, it should be noted that, unlike most homes and hotels, there is no hair dryer and no coffee maker. There is a French press but no instructions for use, so we went to the 7-11 up the street each morning for coffee. The house is well appointed otherwise, including a washer and dryer and all of the other things one would expect (except those previously mentioned). Oh, there is one television in one bedroom but no channels work. No big deal for us but others may be unhappy with that! Oh and be aware there is no air conditioning. As we now understand, this is standard in this area, but as a Texan, we expected it. The good news is, it never really gets warm enough under all of the trees for it to be a concern. Overall fantastic rental for a reasonable fee. Perfect relaxation vacation!

1974 Prowler travel trailer for rent. We live in Sandy on 20 acres. Trailer has a propane stove, fridge, and water heater. There is an outdoor shower on the camper and running water inside. Lights and heater are electric. We have a fire pit, hammock, and an outdoor seating area for your enjoyment. Toilet inside is for liquid waste only but we will provide a camper toilet for all other needs. Great midway point between Mt. Hood and Portland.
You can't see our house from the trailer so it is very private. We welcome additional tent campers for $15 per person.

Come share our farm adventure. Meet friendly goats, alpacas, pigs, ducks, and chickens. Two queen sized beds in a studio apartment with a convenient kitchenette and private bath. Five wooded acres to roam about. Great ski resorts and hiking trails within 30 miles. Additional mud/storage room available for skiers.
This rustic themed studio sits on 5 acres of beautiful Oregon countryside. The space is separate from the main living quarters, providing a private get away for you and your guests. Take advantage of the forested property for a peaceful walk. If you are the adventurous type, this is located in an excellent location for your outdoor needs; skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, etc. There is an addition storage/mud room available for skiers for a small additional fee of $20. for your entire stay. I would possibly consider one pet on an individual basis for an additional fee of $25.
The property sits several miles outside of Sandy, Oregon. You have to take a gravel driveway for about a quarter mile to reach the house. You will pass lush country-side and plenty of farm life on the way. The location is awesome; with Mt. Hood 30 mins in one direction, and the Columbia River Gorge 30 mins. in the other. If you just want to enjoy the peaceful allure of the country, or take advantage of the endless adventures year-round, this is the place for you! Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, hunting, you name it! Access may require four wheel drive in the winter months depending upon the amount of snowfall we have. Please ask ahead of time if this is a concern for you.
  • Julie's place is incredible. Beautiful spacious room, comfortable beds, lots of amenities. And the ability to visit with the animals is truly unique. We had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone.

  • From being greeted by the chirping of crickets on our arrival, to watching a horse happily rolling in the grass like a cat on a rug on the morning of our departure, our stay at Linda and Jim's place was magical in its tranquil charm. Linda and Jim were gracious and attentive hosts - we had a wonderful time.

    Mark2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Linda and Jim's place was great. Stayed in their "granny suite" which was perfect. Jim made pancakes for us which was great. We had some great conversations with them. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • Linda and Jim are as fantastic as their house. Looking for a peaceful, quiet and big place for a relaxing getaway? This is the place to be. Our stay was absolutely one of the nicest Airbnb experiences. The room and bed are comfortable, we had good conversations and in the morning Linda and Jim went all out on the breakfast. Perfect pancakes! Hikes in the Mount Hood area are pretty closeby, even is Portland. So everything you need is there. Highly recommended and we would definitely come back!

  • ️️️️️ I am so happy and lucky to have found this beautiful country log, it was super clean and still smells like brand new! The room and the bed were very comfortable with lots of sunshine and air running through, There is also a private deck and a private bathroom and the premises are spacious with beautiful horses and chickens running around. If you are someone looking to relax, this is the right place to do so. I was also able to photograph and capture the starry night of the forest and did several long exposure photos after midnight, the stars are so bright in this area of Mt Hood. This house is a work of art, you have to see it to believe it. Jim and Linda are some of the nicest people and they are very sweet and comfortable to be around with. Thank you again, I will come back for sure. Best, Daniel

  • A couple friends and I planned a trip to Oregon to explore some of the hiking areas near the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood and came across Terri's place. We couldn't have asked for a better location or better hosts. She and John were very friendly and helpful in making the most of our stay, and their dog Zinc is adorably friendly - just a bonus for our trip. Terri's place was very well kept and stocked for visitors, I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

    Megan2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is in a lovely location. We enjoyed the view of Mt Hood out the front window. Our hosts were fantastic as was the enthusiastic greeting we received from their dog Zinc. The room was as expected and served as a good stopping place on our way to the totality zone for the recent eclipse of the sun.

  • Great place after a long day in the woods

    Joe2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Terri's place is in a quiet neighbourhood and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. You can see Mount Hood from your bedroom window! We wouldn't hesitate to book again if we're in the area.

    Ann2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Terri is wonderful and inviting. We had everything we needed for a month long stay. The apartment is comfortable and in a good central location for visiting the Mt Hood area and Portland.

    Kirstin2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • I recommend it if you visit the area.

    Cecile2017-08-24T00:00:00Z

Our home sets in the middle of 40 acres. There is a full day-light basement with 2 bedrooms each with 1/2 bath. A full kitchen, full bathroom, dining and living room areas. Each bedroom has access to beautiful outdoor grounds and a magnificent 180 degree view.
Quiet, we live on a gravel road.
  • lovely secluded spot, spacious, great view of Mt Hood. You will not be disappointed.

    Ed2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Janet and Dick's place is secluded and peaceful. The "basement" is definitely bright and is accurate to the photos. Could sit on the veranda all evening! Lots of room! The bathrooms connected to each bedroom were a great convenience. This spot is great for those who are looking to explore the Portland / Mt. Hood / Gorge areas as its central to these locations. I traveled here with my older father and brother and I feel we were a good match for this place. We're quieter folks and not rambunctious. My impression is the hosts prefer this in their guests. Kitchen was stocked with many beverage choices, beer and bubbles included. Coffee, tea and some simple fruit / granola bars - really thoughtful. Great new Air BnB hosts. Thanks again!

A quiet country setting great for hikers, rafters, disk golf players and outdoor lovers. Our home is a 1970's home with some remodeling and updating. Its not your average cookie cutter home so be ready for some character.
Our home is about 12-15 minutes outside of Estacada up river (a little extra drive but worth the view). It is a great place to stay if you are visiting friends and family, hiking over the weekend, or rafting in the summer. We do have lots of out door space you are free to use however keep in mind the majority of the house is shared. Enjoy a beer or a campfire on the back patio during the summer months and feel free to make good use of the corn-hole or ladder ball set in the backyard. We also have a pet pig and a cocker spaniel who are in the house from time to time and always in the yard. The house has had some updating and remolding but it is not a new build home and requires some patience. We also have 2 Kayaks for rent by the day (includes oars and life jackets). $30 for the pair- UHaul. Great Kayak river ramps at Promontory Park (8 minutes away) and Timber Park (12 minuets away).
We live on a dead end road with about 25 homes. Very light traffic and great for a morning or evening walk. On clear days you will have a view of Mt. Hood as well as old growth trees and the valley.
  • Paris was very nice & friendly! If you like to stay in a remote area, this is the place for you.

    T & B2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great place to stay, also very clean.

    Nicholas2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Paris and Bryan were very welcoming and were gracious in letting us use the kitchen and living area. Accommodations were simple and comfortable, and the house location is quiet and very peaceful. Our first evening there, we pulled out our camping chairs and just read outside and enjoyed the view. Extra bonus, getting to meet Susie, the pig. Apparently, she does tricks, but sadly, we weren't around long enough to catch them. For those who want to be close to Mt Hood National Park for outdoorsy activities but not up for camping, this makes for an affordable, comfortable alternative.

Private bedroom and full bathroom. Large closet, space heater, and mini fridge included in room. If you need a kitchen or more space, check out our new airbnb rental at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20442314. It's also located on our property but detached from our home and more secluded.
This beautiful house is located in Sandy city limits with restaurants and stores nearby, but on a remote 23 acres. 30 minutes from Mt. Hood and skiing. 10 minutes from world class hiking/mountain biking. Also only 40 minutes to downtown Portland and PDX airport. The perfect in between location for outdoorsy adventure and city glam!
  • Very convenient and cozy location. Just minutes from Sandy, but secluded and quiet. Close to the highway, but you wouldn't know. Fantastic view of Mt. Hood, gorgeous sunrise. Even though room connected to the house, felt very private. Covered parking was nice. Great, affordable location not far from Mt. Hood fun. Would go back again.

  • Kim's home is located in an ideal place in Sandy. It has a marvelous view of Mt. Hood from the property. Very quiet at the end of a private lane. She did a great job of making us feel comfortable with her homey touches. We highly recommend her room rental!

    Laurie2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kim was a great host! The room was very clean and the view was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying with Kim for anyone considering traveling to the Portland area.

    Daniel2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kim's house has an excellent location - you could see Mt Hood from your room (sadly it was too cloudy while we were there and we didn't get to see this awesome view).

    sonia2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Kim's was an all around great experience. For anyone looking for a room with gorgeous views of the Cascade range and very good amenities at a reasonable rate, this is where you want to stay. Kim was highly responsive to my questions, very accommodating, and even let me do laundry, which was extra nice. I recommend the place highly.

    Nick2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kim was fantastic in accommodating a last-minute stay. The view from the room is spectacular!!! I'll stay there again when I'm in the area, for sure.

If you, your partner or your kids like to be close to animals you can't get much closer than this. This 12x12 studio with a vaulted ceiling was once a horse stall. Now, a cool sleeping/resting space with two sets of french doors that really allow you to open the space up and take in the farm around you. There is a shower in the barn, also a sink and a fridge for your use. There is an outhouse 6 steps and 3 lavender bushes away. This is a unique space, plenty of photos to give you a visual.
singles, couples, people who enjoy small farms.
  • This was the highlight of our family vacation.

    Wendy2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This farm was a really neat stop on our Pacific Northwest trip . It was a unique experience to stay in the barn. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean . Loved the art on the walls and the rustic shower . The animals, scenery, and garden was different, fun and so interesting . Completely made my family's night!

    Heather2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Mike and Stuart for putting your place up on Airbnb! Though the farm was a little far from the city, it was definitely an extraordinary and unforgettable experience staying at the barn and playing with the animals. Would definitely recommend anyone to spend a night or two here!

    Nicholas2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stuart was a great host. I specifically want to note that he went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We just stayed here for one night after a long hike up St. Helen's and were a bit unprepared for the rainy northwest. Stuart ensured that our stay was comfortable and also made us some delicious coffee in the morning. Thank you so much for that!

    Charishma2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • It's hard to put to words the experience that Stuart's place give you. It is nothing short than magical. This space is a MUST. Hospitality is A+++! Totally order the breakfast when you're there; mike is a phenomenal chief! Looking forward to planning our next trip out :)

    Jami2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic experience! It was my son's 6th birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Pigs, horses, goats, kitties, bunnies, and all kinds of winged critters were friendly and approachable. We stayed up late and told spooky stories and the kids slept in until 9. Breakfast was so good, you have to get it. We're definitely going again and next time we're planning on bringing some drinks and snacks, a few extra blankets, and some towels. There is a creek the kids were having a blast playing in. Stuart the Owner is inviting, friendly, and was great with the kids and explaining things, he took the kids on a walk on the horse and showed them around. Can't wait to go back.

    Sara2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! They should be charging more. This an amazing place too stay for animal lovers. Stuart and mike were great host and they were very friendly and let us do our own thing uand invited us to help assist with some of the animals. A great experience. Horse riding was truly great, and as other reviewers has mentioned, Get the Breakfast!

This is a beautiful, fully equipped guest cottage. It has a double bed in a bedroom, full bath, washer & dryer, kitchenette, a small living room area (with a fold-out sofa bed) and a spiral staircase to an additional sleeping loft. 1/2 hour to skiing in winter, Mt. Hood recreation.
This cottage sits on our 20-acre property at the base of Mt. Hood (about an hour east off downtown Portland - a great city to explore!). We are 30 minutes west of Ski Bowl and the Mt. Hood National Forrest. The cottage is approximately 300 square feet, with a small covered porch and fireplace. Private bedroom with full bed, living room with a wood spiral staircase up to a sleeping loft (spiral staircase is not appropriate for small children), a kitchenette with toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and mini refrigerator. A full bath with the added bonus of a washer/dryer. Great for after a day of travel or playing in the outdoors.
We are mid-way between Sandy and Welches on the flanks of Mt. Hood. We are six miles from town (Sandy), in a quiet setting. All neighbors have acreage properties. The area is very forested and beautiful, the cottage and private home sit on about two acres around the pond, and are out from under the trees, so there is plenty of light.
  • The sweet cottage was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Hollis was such a gracious host and went above and beyond our hosting expectations. The property was the perfect place for families and we loved every second we got to spend here. There are absolutely no words that could capture this lovely experience and how welcomed we felt.

    Roxanne2014-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Hollis and Dave have a splendid location and a cozy place to stay. Wonderful for a winter getaway, and we're looking forward to going back in the summer to hit up the lake.

    Kerrie2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • After a long day on the mountain all we wanted was a cozy den to relax and stretch out and that's exactly what this cottage was. The whole listing was spotless, the bed very comfy, and we had everything we needed. Hollis met us upon our arrival and gave us an awesome tour of the property. This is a listing I could certainly see myself visiting again as it has lots to offer no matter the time of year.

    Joachim2016-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend in this slice of paradise! Hollis and Dave are delightful hosts, and they've gone out of their way to make it a special stay with thoughtful details and an impressive collection of outdoor games to play. We all felt immediately relaxed and at home here, and we all slept well on supremely comfy beds. We came with another family who booked the treehouse on the property and our kids had a blast. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

    Cyndy2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is an incredible property - so much to do, so beautiful - it exceeded our expectations and Hollis and Dave were such gracious hosts. This place must be seen to be believed - truly a little slide of paradise!

    Lisa2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Arrival to property was not difficult despite the place being located in the woods: Dave gave great instructions to find place and how to get in, and how to deal with the 'welcome' party, initially, only Henry (their black lab-collie), and later on, 2 other friends!). Hollis gave us some great sites to visit and dining recommendations around the area and in Portland as well. We stayed in the cabin: wow, this place is a resort in itself, they did a great job with various activities that can be done on their property. Great for kids and families! we are 3 adults and still enjoyed the beautiful place immensely. If you have a car, this place is close to downtown Sandy and the Mount Hood and Columbia gorge areas. This was out first air BnB and our hosts made us feel that Air BnB will always be a great option for our future vacations! Thanks Dave and Hollis! (and dogs. . . ). Dave, Sarah, and Rina
