  • Our stay at the Studio was wonderful. The space is gorgeous and perfectly private, and was within comfortable walking distance to the beach. Nicole was an excellent host: responsive, warm, and helpful. We can't wait to come back and stay sometime - this is the perfect quiet get-away!

    Emily2016-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience staying here. The bed was quite comfortable and the heated floors in the bathroom were an added bonus. We will definitely be visiting again!

  • Beautiful apartment, very clean, and great hosts, would go again!

    Luc2017-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • For a first Airbnb adventure, my wife and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Nicole offers a beautiful, very clean studio with an extremely comfortable setting. The pictures do not lie and if anything, the beauty and detail must be seen to fully appreciate! My wife and I were welcomed by Nicole and her husband who made sure to offer their hospitality, and were given all of the privacy we were looking for. We especially loved the convenience of going to the nearby beach. This was a great experience from start to finish, and from someone who holds very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and amenities, this Airbnb gets five stars from me!

    Steven2016-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful space, and the hosts are great people, very friendly and accommodating. It was perfect for my stay, which was spent taking some needed retreat time. It is the type of place you will want to come back to.

    James2014-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nicki's studio was so adorable, cozy, and quiet - a perfect getaway. She did a great job making us feel welcome and was available for any questions throughout our stay. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom, too! I would definitely come back or recommend this spot to anyone.

    Molly2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole's home is truly a wonderful place to stay in Maine. We stayed here on the last leg of our trip and really wished we have few more nights to stay. The apartment is extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to use the two bikes and go down to the lovely beach not far from the apartment. We are hoping to book another stay at the apartment soon! Nicole and David were such lovely hosts and we cannot thank them enough!

    Mary2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay here! The studio is extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nicole took care of so many thoughtful details to make the stay easier and more enjoyable, and even let us stay past checkout time.

This studio space is surrounded by tall pines and has a quiet patio with a fire pit to sit back and relax with a glass of wine or locally created craft beer. We are close to town square and Kennebunkport's beautiful beaches.
The studio space was recently built and let's in soothing light throughout the day. There is a private entrance to our space which features hardwood floors, tile in the bathroom and a spacious 14 foot ceiling. It also features a COMFORTABLE queen size bed, with a seating area and a dinning area for two. Anytime is the BEST time to be in K'port. Weekend girls getaway, special occasion, anniversary, surfing trip, cycling excursions...you name it and this picturesque town will satisfy. Our place is centrally located, close to town square (walk, ride, drive) beaches (ride, drive) and local attractions. Bring your fat tire bikes and ride the nearly 30 miles of killer trails at the Edwin L Smith Preserve. Please feel free to inquire about anything you may wonder about our space!
Kennebunkport was voted 2015 best places to live in Maine by Downeast magazine. I've lived here all my life and can attest to that so Let me help you find the best place to dine or to enjoy some of what coastal Maine has to offer.
  • The Nest exceeded our expectations when we stayed there for our honeymoon. Emily was very helpful and responsive and we loved the fact that she left little gifts for us to make our stay that much better. The space itself was very cozy and comfortable and it was great to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet outside while we cooked by the fire. We enjoyed all of the privacy we could have wanted, and really felt like we could make ourselves at home. Throughout our 5 night stay we never had to drive more than 10 minute to enjoy any of the great activities that Kennebunk/Kennebunkport had to offer. It was great to be able to make a trip to Portland for the day as well. We will be back!

    Frank2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really nice stay at the nest. The place is very thoughtfully equipped to have all the necessities that you may need. Emily was super responsive. She also provided a pack-n-play for our one year old, which was of great help to us. Overall we had a great time!

    Sergey and Jenia2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Emily was a fantastic hostess right from the first approach thru the end! In spite of never actually meeting because the space is completely private, our interaction was superb! Even with the need to change dates and a request for flowers to be in the room as a surprise, Emily came through! The room is spacious and bed very comfortable. In another season, the outdoor space could be enjoyed a great deal. The proximity to the main streets of Kennebunkport is appealing as well. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

    Chris2016-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in this little suite! The space was inviting and clean, with cute little touches. We took advantage of Emily and Aaron's thoughtfulness by creating a fire and using the s'mores kit provided. The hosts were extremely responsive. We're already looking at our schedules to plan our next stay!

    Traci2016-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in the cottage. As the pictures suggest, the place is cute and cozy and is nice and private. We especially loved using the fire pit in the yard at night. In terms of its location, we were just a short drive from some awesome beaches (Wells beach in particular was great), and we had a few nice meals out in Kennebunkport. Having vacationed in Maine before, we also found the spot convenient to other cities and towns that are worth exploring (Freeport, Portland, etc). Would definitely come back and stay again and highly recommend!

    Tess2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • WOW. You need to stay here. Amazing experience. I would rate it higher if I could. So easy and accessible from the center of kennebunkport. It was tucked away and very private and it was not hard to find. It was a beautiful, clean, and well decorated place. It's not mean for families due to space but for couples it's ideal. We are so glad we stayed here and not a resort. Just be careful on the "driveway" because it is a dirt road so naturally there are some holes. Drive slow. And the towels did have a musty smell but that does NOT indicate not being clean, they just might be a little older. But I can't rave about this place more. All the little touches makes all the difference too and it was a GREAT GREAT stay!! :)

    Amanda2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time! The room has everything you need and Emily & Aaron are brilliant hosts, they go the extra mile to help.

    Riaan2016-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • The place was absolutely awesome. Rang the bell and we were helped to the room. Private room with all your own amenities. Very clean and neat. Space was very private and quite. We had our own personal fire pit and we used it every night, they provided all wood, kindling and smores. We got in about 20 mins early without any trouble. When we opened mini fridge we were welcomed with a pair of beers and waters, very cool. Place was great and will definitely look to stay there when we are in that area again.

Tastefully decorated, light and open Maine Cape located on over an acre with a private pond, all within walking distance to famous Dock Square and many shops, restaurants, museums and nightlife. Three levels of finished living space including 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Wonderful, quiet, family friendly cul de sac neighborhood. Bike over to Colony Beach or Gooch's Beach or enjoy Goose Rocks Beach a few more miles up the road. Use of bicycles, fishing poles, and beach chairs provided.
Wonderful location just a few minutes walk to all the hustle and bustle of Dock Square and Lower Village. Safe, quiet neighborhood with all the creature comforts of home with a quaint cottage feel. Plenty of room for your large family to spread out over 3 levels of living space.
The Woodlawn neighborhood is a well established area hidden just outside of the busy Dock Square shopping district but within easy walking distance. The neighborhood consists of mostly year round residents and the street encircles a pond between all the homes. Our home is centered in the neighborhood and is situated on the pond.
  • Such a great home. Will definitely look into renting again in the future

    Michael2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • The space was great for a family trip, 6 adults and 2 kids. The three floors provided plenty of space for all of us. We felt like the pictures actually did not do it justice, the house is gorgeous! Location was great! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. We will definitely be staying again :)

    Emilia2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place that's exactly as photographed! It's sweet, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The home is on a beautiful street, has a great, private back yard, and is a nice walk to Kennebunkport's main tourist area, which was good for us because we didn't have to struggle with traffic and parking, which we noticed others did. This was a no-kids getaway for us, and our first trip to the area, and the house was perfect. The house would also be wonderful for families. Lots of bedrooms, lots of beds, bikes to use, an office set-up, an outdoor BBQ, a spacious deck, a movie room in the basement, and a cozy reading nook at the front of the house. The hosts provided a detailed, insightful insider's guide of the area, and they were prompt and courteous with all communications. We spent 5 days here and didn't want to leave! We're so glad to have chosen this home as our Kennebunkport accommodations. Highly recommended!!

    Denise2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • The home is just wonderful! Great location, beautiful setting. Convenient to downtown just a short walk away. Comfortable layout, plenty of space for everyone. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay in Kennebunkport!

    Ellen2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful, clean, and in a safe neighborhood. The most wonderful part is that it is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Kennebunkport! We had so much fun walking around town and through the different neighborhoods. Deb and Justin were so easy to communicate with and answered all questions immediately!! Would highly recommend this rental!

    heather2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house was extremely close to Dock square, which was very nice. Everything was nice at the house and we enjoyed our stay.

    Jill2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Seawood! It was the perfect place to relax and refresh! The home was exactly as pictured - maybe even better, and the location was amazing for exploring Kennebunkport and regions beyond. We have stayed at various inns on previous trips to the area, but this was, by far, our nicest accommodation - especially having a whole house to ourselves! Thanks, Deborah and Justin, for sharing your lovely home with us!

Small, open and bright home in Kennebunkport/Cape Porpoise. Perfect for the solo traveler or a couple. Formerly a working sheep farm, the Oasthouse sits on Wildes District Road and overlooks a pastoral field. Midway between Dock Square and Cape Porpoise, the location is ideal. Beaches, local shops and restaurants are all within minutes. Tastefully decorated and private.
Sweet open loft space. Very private and bright. Simple, comfortable home owned by a recently retired teacher. Built in the early 1950s, the house is full of history and charm. Old perennial gardens and a private side yard. The back deck and covered porch offer outdoor relaxing spaces. The ocean can be heard from the house quite often.
Great neighborhood with mix of rental homes and longtime local residents. I've lived on the street for 20 years!
  • Sara’s place is everything you would need for a quiet vacation in beautiful Maine. Me and my partner were going there for a few days away from New York City, and it had everything we wanted. The house has a little patio where you can sit and read. Sara even got us a bottle of wine and coffee. The house is a 5 minute drive into town where there are fantastic restaurants. The restaurants can get a little pricey (I’m a law student and my partner works in the public sector) but the house also has a full kitchen and kitchen supplies if you wanted to cook a few meals yourself to save some money. Sara was helpful and checked in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. A beautiful home in a beautiful town — we had a great experience. Thanks, Sara!

    Pichaya 2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sara's place offered a week respite in a beautiful setting, like being in a treehouse. The leaves changed while I was there and afforded a great view from the back. Lots of activity at the finch feeder. The house was tastefully decorated with local art, and Sara was a great hostess. The location is convenient to downtown, beaches, and great restaurants. This is a place I would return to.

    Marie2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The house was awesome and Sara was very attentive. Will definitely be returning to Maine.

    Nick2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah was a great hostess who knows how to make her guests feel so at home. Nothing was missing. The kitchen is big and full of everything you would need to cook a great meal- not one thing was missing. The home is so perfectly decorated. It sits in the middle between two areas to get market food and take out one direction and Kennebunkport in the opposite direction. The bed was super comfortable and bathroom was great size. My husband is very tall and he had no problems with any of the accomodations-this is the reason we prefer to do AirBNB. Sarah had great information on places to eat and visit in town. We went to Portland for a day and she had suggestions for us there too. This easily was one of favorite stays. You won't be disappointed!!

    Renee2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Small but cozy cottage in a nice location. We enjoyed our stay.

    Chloe2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Oasthouse is the perfect getaway - so close to downtown, yet so relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle. We immediately relaxed as soon as we set foot into this beautiful house. We could spend hours on the back porch - definitely our favorite spot. Sara was a wonderful hostess, so welcoming and attentive to our needs, while also respecting our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

    Olivia2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy and stylish cottage in one of the prettiest New England towns I’ve been to. Even though it was late October, we had our coffee on the cute deck every morning while the birds ate from the feeder. The cottage has everything you need to make full meals... bonus that there was a French Press! Sara left some thoughtful goodies for us to enjoy. This was our first Airbnb experience and it was a great one.

    Jessica2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • A very special place perfect for a quiet getaway, but just a short drive to the busy Kennebunkport town center and to the village of Cape Porpoise and Goose Rocks Beach. A lovely welcoming home away from home.

My place is as close as a step away from Dock Square., family-friendly activities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids) .Book three nights in November and get a $50.00 gift card for dining in Dock Square!
This newly decorated apartment is so special! Step out the door and you will see right away the beautiful Dock Square lights that will pull you right over to all the great shopping and restaurants.
  • Cheryle's place is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Her amenities outshine any 5 star hotel! After very full and fun days touring the area, returning to this lovely apartment provided rest and relaxation. The kitchen is well appointed so it was very easy to enjoy a fresh lobster and blueberry pie dinner without fighting the restaurant crowd . It is the quintessential summer retreat. Cheryle is a lovely hostess and even greeted us with a bottle of wine. A toast to you Cheryle!!

    Emily2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay

    Edouard2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is adorable and in the perfect location within 2 blocks of town center. It is very quaint and cozy and beautifully decorated. It even has a claw foot tub! It is equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and laundry room. It is on the second floor and has a delightful porch where you can catch the evening breeze. Cheryle was very quick to respond to any of our questions. We felt very much at home here and will come back.

    KLaus2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryle was the perfect host, very welcoming and helpful. We loved the bottle of wine that greeted us! The apartment is lovely, well-equipped, and in the ideal location -- central yet quiet.

    Mary2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryle was a wonderful host. She was easy to communicate with and kindly let us check in early and check out late since there was no one booked on either end of our trip. The apartment is adorably decorated, clean, has all the necessities and is in a great location. It was a quick walk every morning for coffee and a stroll along the waterfront and cute shops. We were traveling with our 9 month old and the bedroom had more than enough room for a pack n play. Loved it here and we will definitely be back.

    Erica2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryle was absolutely wonderful! She welcomed us with open arms. She was so accessible with all of our needs and questions. The apartment is within walking distance from amazing shops and very quiet at night. Will definitely recommend and possibly stay again.

    Meghan2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryle was a perfect hostess showed us around letting us know where everything was we had a bottle of chilled wine waiting for us . When my friend innocently left with the keys to the place Cheryle was very kind and gave us another set and did not make me feel any worse than I did. It was nice and quiet we had all we needed to cook in the kitchen we literally had gotten back after going to the store and realized we didn't buy oil and I went in the cabinet and there was oil and some seasonings. Imagine when you have out of town guests that you want to impress so they want for nothing that will be your stay. The best part crazy close to downtown .

    Christina2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryle's place was amazing! It was a block from dock square and we were able to park our car on property. The apartment was decorated in a nautical theme and had turn of the century photos of Kennebunkport. The bed had an extra thick topper with incredibly soft sheets allowing you to rest comfortably after a lazy day at the beach. She provided bath items such as shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and even bath salts for the deep claw foot tub. The spacious kitchen had everything we needed. A chilled bottle of wine was waiting for us when we arrived. I can't say enough things about this place. It by far exceeded all my expectations. We plan to return to this little slice of heaven. Thank you Cheryle!!

Pleasant, quiet bedroom; 50" Roku TV; Full Bath (shower only) exclusively for your use (not en suite); fridge, microwave & Keurig. Located in Cape Porpoise, the "quieter side of Kennebunkport" - the harbor, lobster boats, whale watching/deep sea fishing, lighthouse, kayaking, 2 beaches, 3 golf courses, walking/hiking/showshoeing, & "Christmas Prelude" (HGTVs #2 Christmas Town) all w/in 1-7 miles. Without a doubt, centrally located but tucked away in our own little piece of heaven!
  • This was an exceptional Airbnb! Patricia had thought of everything--right down to motion-detector night lights. The room is spacious and well equipped. Lovely location. Highly recommend!

    David2017-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Patty is as terrific a host as one could hope for. Friendly and generous, thoughtful and accommodating. Her home is wonderfully comfortable. And she's thought of everything. From arrival instructions highlighting the address to a room with all the amenities (Keurig, micro, mini fridge, water, snacks) to a bath a to die for! Best. Showah. Evah. The location was private yet convenient for our forays into Kennebunkport and coastal Maine. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment with Patty and Morris (and Buddy!) and hope to return next year.

    Kevin and Mary2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Patty's home is very comfortable and convenient to downtown Kennebunkport. It's a little bit outside of town, but that definitely keeps the noise down. Accommodations are exactly what we needed for a quick weekend getaway (the bed is amazing!). We scooted out pretty early to make good time getting home, but Buddy was outside to see us off. Great stay, highly recommended!

    Karla2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to go, very clean, they have everything in the room and bathroom!

    Sophie2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia is an incredible hostess, and her hospitality alone is worth the price. The place was clean, accurate, and had tremendous amenities that we didn't expect. Buddy's presence is also a huge plus, he's a kind and very well behaved dog.

    Jose2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Patricia's was fantastic. Easy drive to all areas including Gooserock beach and main area of Kennebunkport. We even walked to a few areas. The room had a very nice bed and our own fridge and keurig machine (with k-cups). The bathroom had an amazing shower. Patricia was so helpful and welcoming. And last but not least Buddy (her wonderful dog) was so fun to play with. We would love to stay again.

    Christopher2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Patty was very warm and welcoming. It was my first time to Maine and I liked how the room and bathroom had a ocean theme. The location is about a 20-30 minute drive to Portland, but about 2 minutes down the street are cute little shops. Perfect for photos, eating and shopping. But don't try to walk there, there are no side walks from the house to the shopping area. Patty's dog was super cute and really friendly, probably one of the most friendliest dogs I've ever met. I like how I had my own bathroom too. In other Airbnbs in the past I had to share a bathroom with the family, which was fine but can get a little weird at times. I also liked how the hallway to the bathroom had nightlights in the hallway, the bedroom has nightlights too. Oh and how could I almost forget the T.V., microwave, and mini fridge in the room! It was an absolutely perfect stay and I recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Maine!

    Shenea 2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Patty was a wonderful host and would definitely go there again! She made sure to cover everything a visitor might need. Her home is beautiful and very clean. The area was very quiet as is advertised but just a short drive to restaurants and specialty shops. She even supplies guests with a beach pass! Thank you Patty...we felt like we made a new friend!

Note: Our seasonal restaurant is located directly next door but will not be in operation this year because we are remodeling.

  • Great stay! Amanda was very quick to respond. Location gave easy access to Goose Rocks Beach or Cape Porpoise. A great Maine getaway!

    Mike2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • With the exception of the couch being swapped from the pictures, Amanda's place was wonderful. My family of 8 really enjoyed our time and were glad to be able to stay together for our cousins wedding! Amanda was very communicative while we were searching for a place that our elderly grandfather would be able to move around in with ease. The walk-in shower and first floor bedroom was ideal as we only had to worry about the few steps to the front door.

    Kyra2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great home near everything! Love the towels, spacious bedrooms, washing machine and dryer, and big modern kitchen. She was kind and let us have a late check out when we were on deadline working. Great wifi! Close to Tides, beaches, and town. Ananda is super easy to communicate with. Totally recommend it.

    Maranda2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic home to stay! Our 3 generational group of 7 loved it! A short car ride to everything you could want! There are also several places to eat within a short walk, and a new restaurant opening in 2018 very close by. I can't say enough great things about Amanda and this clean, nice home. Amanda was a delight to communicate with! So accommodating and easy. We will definitely stay here in the future!

    Joshua2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! Super clean, cozy and roomy for me and my other 6 friends/family. Besides the lovely decorations and interior design in the house, the beds were extremely comfy and had no problem snoozing at night. You just feel so at home and safe in Amanda’s house. Amanda herself was a great host, she makes sure how you’re doing and follows up in a very timely manner. Will definitely recommend this place to friends who are going to Maine and will definitely stay here again! I would give more than 5 stars if there was that option! Thanks again Amanda!

  • Very great place! I was with my two young child (2 and 5 years) and it was perfect. Thank you !

    Corinne2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was an awesome stay! The views were great & the house very well kept. The location was central to all the best beaches & restaurants in the area. We wanted to stay an extra night and William was very accommodating! As someone who has visited Wells my whole life, I would recommend William's place to anyone.

    Ricky2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • The location was unbeatable. Listening to the waves at night was truly wonderful. The room itself is simple and rustic, but clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

    Julianne2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • William's place perfectly matched the description and pictures. Coffee on the porch in the morning is amazing - watching the sunrise and the deals were a highlight. We will definitely book here again.

    Lyndsey2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy place was exactly what we expected and more! We felt very at home while being here. The views are amazing as well as being close to local restaurants and shops. Our favorite bonus was using the bikes provided by William to explore around.

    Jessica2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • William's place was wonderful - truly the most magnificent view. We felt like we were "glamping"- the place was rustic but clean, and William was kind and easy to communicate with. We especially enjoyed our morning on the rooftop porch. Thank you, William!

    Jon & Casara2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. 360 views, both ocean and marsh. Small place, but it has everything you need. Bikes and beach stuff available to borrow, which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

    Kate2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • William was a great host - he was super quick responses when needed. The place is very sweet and we absolutely loved the views of the ocean. We were "lucky" to get to experience one of the worst storms with hurricane like winds while there. The ocean was angry and amazing to watch! The electricity was off for a short period of time and Will was very responsive to our needs. We used the kitchen facilities to make some light meals and it was nice that amenities such as toiletries, tea/coffee/cocoa, paper towel and Kleenex were easily available. This is a lovely gem in a peaceful little town. We enjoyed the Wild Wave!

  • The communication from the start was excellent and all was clea. We were arriving late and that wasnt an issue. We spent an impromptu evening with Andrea and Joe and laughed the entire time! Great hosts and wonderful stay ; verweile doch, du bist so schon :)

    Marjorie2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea and Joe are fabulous. So kind and personal. This was my first Airbnb experience and it went without a hitch. Their outdoor shower is a must-try experience and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed listening to the wind, rain and leaves outside my window. Definitely had the small-town, Maine-vibe I was looking for. Would definitely stay again if I was heading through Kennebunk!

    Alex2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea and her husband are so helpful. We had a great time in kennebunk. The house is so lovely and the outdoor shower is so cool. Parsons beach is a must go. Thanks to their recommendation.

    Maggie2016-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea was sure to stay in touch with us about our possible arrival time, which was unknown as we wanted to spend time exploring the area. We were allowed easy access to the house and provided very clear directions for our late arrival. The space itself was beautiful and very welcoming, a home away from home (and we loved the outdoor shower). Andrea also helped me with some planning for our trip, and my biologist friend enjoyed her recommendations early the next morning! Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Andrea and Joe in person, but we look forward to a stay in the future!

    Jennifer2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had read great reviews about Andrea and Joe and they were spot on! They are both great hosts. Genuine people who love people and have a way of making feel important and welcome. We have a 15 month old daughter and she was welcomed with open arms, regardless of her early mornings and odd cries ;-) We were fortunate to chat with both Joe and Andrea and we left with the feeling that it would really be lovely to build a lasting friendship with them. Their place is authentic, warm and cozy and their recommendations were all so well advised: be it restaurants, spots, beaches, they helped us make our short (too short) 2 days stay a highlight in our vacations. Thanks to both of you and we wish you all the best! Liv, Agathe, Veronique and Yanik

    Yanik2016-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved the small town feel of this neighborhood Super close to all amenities and the beautiful beach Hosts were so friendly and accommodating Room was clean and quiet :)

    Nic2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dear fellow travelers- You cannot ask for a more hospitable, nurturing, and easy-going host. This home is a bright spot and respite in picturesque New England.

    WILLIAM2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • My mom and I had a great time in Kennebunk. Andrea was a great host. Having a beach pass and informational maps available for us made it easy to explore the area. The outdoor shower was a work in progress, but Andrea offered us to use the indoor one. The wifi is spotty upstairs so if it's important for you to be very connected then you may have an issue (but you should probably just go have fun on the beach instead of being on the Internet anyway

Pleasant bedroom with a private full bath in a lovely historic home, one block from town center (Dock Square). My home also serves as a large art gallery that represents over 75 artists and was named "Best in Maine." Steps to downtown and harbor and fifteen minute walk to beach.
Serve coffee, juice and bagels in morning. Wine and cheese in the afternoon.
Beautiful & charming historic section of Kennebunkport, steps to Dock Square (one block). Safe to walk, 24/7. Very close to shops and restaurants.
  • We can not speak more highly of our experience. A lovely place, a charming hostess and a wonderful location.

    David2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jean was fabulous house was super cute bed was comfortable and Jean was a fab hostess

    Connie2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jean's house is a large old home boasting an art gallery on the first floor. Believe me when I say that is a bonus well worth the stay alone. There is beautiful artwork all over the home and every nook and cranny is a delight. The location is superb. One can literally walk the entire town from her house. But, the best part of this lovely 1850's house is the host. Jean is incredible. She was so welcoming, offering beer or wine upon arrival. In the morning she had coffee ready and the table set for breakfast which included fresh squeezed orange juice. She was kind enough to sit with us and chat. She also helped with directions to our various events over the weekend. I think you get the picture. So, even if her house doesn't work for you, stop by the Mast Cove Art Gallery to say hello. You won't be disappointed!

    Patricia2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about this place. The location was amazing (only feet from the town center) and the service was fantastic (cheese and crackers left for us overnight). I absolutely plan on coming back>

    Karl2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jean is great, so sweet and responsive to any questions. Her home is just lovely and makes you feel right at home with that Maine flare. Quick walk right to Kennebunkport center. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

    Ashley2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jean is simply an amazing person. Beautiful home, an art gallery with paintings on all the walls, Jean has a really generous and fun personality and knows the area really well. If you're looking for a place to stay in Kennebunkport, it's perfect. Just 2 minutes walk from the centre of town, close to everything. 10 out of 10.

    David2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jean's beautiful home was the best Airbnb experience we've had yet. Her home is beautiful, centrally located to downtown Kennebunkport, and she could not be friendlier. We enthusiastically recommend Jean and her home!

    Robert2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was my first "private room" stay as opposed to the entire place, which is what I usually book . Clearly, I've been missing out. Meeting Jean and staying at her unique place was such a joy. It made our one night stay in Kennebunkport an experience. She is so charming and full of energy. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. Our stay coincided with her upcoming art gallery opening, and we had the pleasure of viewing all the beautiful art pieces. The gallery and house is centrally located. Everything is within walking distance. Jean is a walking entertainment guide for the area, so just ask her for suggestions. The bed was comfortable and private. Bathroom is right by the bedroom. We were able to do a load of laundry. The cats are friendly and adorable. Can't recommend Jean and her place more highly!!

Modern, clean and cozy cottage with stunning marsh views and Goose Rocks Beach a 7 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxed Maine summer at the shore.
Our cottage is tiny but has just been completely renovated into a contemporary and comfortable retreat for couples or families. Best of all, it provides access to one of Maine's most exclusive beach front communities. Master bedroom with queen bed and patio access and a sleeping loft for kids with three built in twin beds accessed by a very safe rolling ladder. Enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the decks and stroll to the general store (only open during the season) for supplies and then on to the beach for hours of lazy beach combing. There are tide pools and off shore tidal islands to kayak to.
Goose Rocks Beach is the best kept secret in the area. We love the beach, love the neighbors, love the lobster and the marsh. Its a piece of paradise! GRB is off the beaten path but has unique amenities like the chic and delicious Tides Inn, the General Store where you can find all those last minute goodies you forgot and the Goose Rocks Community Center which offers tennis and wonderful summer programs for kids and adults alike. And don't miss Goose Rocks Creamery across Rt. 9 - best ice cream in S. Maine! Kennebunkport is a short 15 minute drive away and offers sophisticated shopping, restaurants, boating, historic sites and fantastic lobster and fried clams! Cape Porpoise is even closer and has unbelievable views and fantastic restaurants.
  • Everything was great. The location was a short ride to Kennebunkport and the setting was perfect. Nice views, sea breeze at night, very relaxing. Mary and I were communicating back and forth on restaurants, etc. the whole stay. She has good taste and we enjoyed every restaurant we visited. This was a very nice and relaxing experience. I would recommend this renatal to any couple or small family.

    Kent2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great time at Mary's Cottage. The house is beautiful and very clean. We have 2 kids that were so happy to have their private loft. Goose Rock Beach was peaceful and quiet, perfect for families. I definitely recommend Mary's place if you're looking for the ultimate Maine experience!

    Catherine2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mary was a fantastic host. The cottage was fantastic, very clean, and well appointed. The views are can't miss and the location is ideal - it was just what this family of 4 was looking for. We can't wait to schedule our next trip.

    Laura2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mary was super communicative and thorough with her descriptions and instructions for the house. Loved the handwritten notes to help navigate the space. Gorgeous location, just as pictured and described. Great place!

    Emilie2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is truly special in many ways...the interior is modern and simple but very comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for. The oversized pane-less windows flood the living area with natural light and provide a lovely view of the tidal marsh that almost surrounds the cottage. We were really happy with the location...Goose Rocks Beach is a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach with a few offshore islands for added interest but the drive into Kennebunkport is scenic and only takes about 15 - 20 minutes. Mary was a very responsive host and responded promptly to the few questions we had. I hope we'll have another opportunity to stay there again in the future.

    karen2016-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the house! It's in a perfect location, walking distance to the beach and 10 minutes drive from kennebunk. It was clean, really well decorated and it had everything we needed. We loved to eat breakfast looking at all the birds in the marsh. We will go back for sure! Thank you so much!

    Jacinthe2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is gorgeous, so stylish and cozy. So nice to relax and have a great view from the large windows or deck. The actual place is better than the photos and super cute if you have kids that can sleep in the “attic”. I would have loved this place as a kid! We had planned to kayak off the deck but the marsh was dry (we came in Oct, maybe this is why?). We found another amazing place to kayak though a 30 min drive to Scarborough Marsh. The only drawback which lost an entire star for was the fact that we had to bring our garbage with us as it wasn’t “garbage day”. We found it very inconvenient that we were asked to find somewhere to dispose of the garbage in a beach town while in vacation. There really is no place to bring a large bag of garbage and it left us with a bad taste of the place. As long as you don’t mind everything they ask you to do before you leave then rent this place. We will stay elsewhere that has less chores.

    minna2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay for my wive and my 2 years old daughter! We really like (and know) Goose Rocks beach area so it was perfect for us. We loved the place and the view of the marsh. The beach is a 10 minute walk (max). No need to take the car for the beach as we like to walk. Cape Porpoise is a short drive away (small grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop). Same for Kennebunkport. It was raining one day so we decided to shop at Kittery for the day (40 minutes). Portland is also not too far (45 min). We are definitely going back!

This second story private apartment is in the heart of Dock Square. A beautiful old house with wood floors, lots of light and big windows. Great restaurants and fun activities in town and we are just a mile from the Kennebunk beaches. Private parking and entrance. 3 bedrooms- 2 with King beds and 1 with twin beds. Pets are negotiable.
The entrance is through the back door. There is a small hallway and a set of stairs that leads up to the apartment. The door is the one immediately in front of you. When you open it you will be happily surprised with the amount of space that you have.
  • I would give this place 6 stars if that was an option. It was perfect. It was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and Christy took the time to give us directions and all the information we needed to find it and park. The beds were all super comfortable. One of my family members decided he wanted to know the brand so he could buy a mattress that good for home. All the rooms were full of light. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was fun being right near Dock Square. Great place. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    Anne2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Christy for a great stay in Kennebunkport! Our group of 6 loved the bright airy apartment and proximity to the heart of town. We loved all your personal touches that made it feel like home!

  • Wonderful location to everything KPT! Right off the Main Street but still quiet when it's time for bed, you can shop, eat and enjoy all the outdoor activities in Kennebunkport. Home is comfortable, spacious and very clean. Christy is a wonderful host and although we didn't need anything, she was around if we did. Fabulous!

    Tracy2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely stay and really appreciated how attentive Christy was. She was super responsive and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The house was very well situated to walk and explore town and beaches. House was tastefully decorated and cozy. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the cooking essentials and everything was perfect for our small family . Would gladly return and highly recommend to anyone ! Thanks Christy!

    Kelly2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great Location! Apartment is perfect for a weekend getaway for at least 4-6 guests! Christy was wonderful to work with!

    Zoe2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Christy's apartment in Kennebunkport. The description was very accurate. The apartment is spacious, airy, charming, well stocked with all the essentials and in a great location. You are minutes from all restaurants, shops, boat cruises, bike and kayak rental, etc. Great for a stroll with kids before or after the beach. Beaches are 10-15 minutes away by car. Christy is a fantastic and very professional host. She accommodated our late check in, provided flexibility for the checkout and got back to us very quickly when we had enquiries. The apartment is a whole, independent unit with separate entrance and convenient parking space. In summary, truly great place for a family that wants proximity to town, privacy and a spacious, well-organized and nicely furnished place. Thank you Christy for being an excellent host!

    Gianni2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We immediately felt at ease when we saw the chalkboard welcoming our family. I could not have asked for a better location. It is so close to all the restaurants and shops in KPT. Being 1 min from Rococo Artisan ice cream was awesome too. The apartment is spacious and very clean. It is in an older home and has a lot of charm. The apt was nicely furnished and had towels available. Being my first time using AirBNB, I was very happy with our experience. Christy addressed any concerns I had before booking and was very responsive.

    Sara2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • My husband, toddler, and I enjoyed our stay at Christy's apartment. It is tastefully decorated, clean, spacious, and very convenient for walking to restaurants and shops in Kennebunkport. It is right next to the main road through town (which the two main bedrooms face), so I would be wary if road noise bothers you. Otherwise, we would highly recommend the apartment!

This is the classic ocean hideaway for any season, overwhelming in its natural beauty, serenity, and restorative powers. A place for the world-weary, poets and lovers. The cottage is warm, cozy and fully equipped. It rests right on the rocky coastline of Maine, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Kennebunkport, Maine. Within walking distance are Cape Porpoise Kitchen - a specialty foods market and cafe, and Bradbury Brothers Market.
Every room in the house has breathtaking floor to ceiling views directly onto the ocean.
  • This place truly is a piece of heaven. We spent hours enjoying the view. We were greeted by a juvenile bald eagle and a herd of seals. We really appreciated the telescope and binoculars in the home, we were entertained by the wildlife for hours! The place is a short drive to all that Kennebunkport has to offer. The property feels intimate and is a great space to relax and refresh.

    Patrick2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing home! Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The view is spectacular with 180 degrees of ocean. We woke every morning to a beautiful sunrise and had coffee on the porch with the seals! The master bed is very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and I guarantee you will want to book another stay!!

    Lindsay2017-10-08T00:00:00Z

  • Couldn't ask for a more perfect Kennebunkport getaway -- I rented this place for my parents to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, and managed to join them for one night during their stay. The home is exactly as advertised, though it's hard to convey through an Airbnb posting how outrageous it is to have the ocean at your doorstep. We had all the amenities we needed; plenty of space to lounge and relax. Without question, I'd return for another (hopefully longer) stay.

    Brian2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a taste of New England on the coast, this is the best place for you. We could sit and listen and hear the sea lions out on the rocks. It was close to all the shopping, all the wonderful places to eat. A little piece of heaven here on earth

    Gary2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The sea is more beautiful than even the photos show. And the shoreline is literally steps from the back door. We wandered along the beach at a whim, day and night. We saw: seals, an osprey hunting and then later tearing into what turned out to be a seagull, and a small raccoon. We also saw the Milky Way and the blazing stars, including shooting stars. The night sky is magnificent, so rare these days. Comfortable, cozy, welcoming and utterly relaxing. Great food everywhere around! Enjoy.

Your suite includes a queen-size bed and a chaise for lounging with a sunny exposure! There is private bathroom with spacious shower located right off the bedroom. It is a six mile drive to Kennebunkport, a mile to the beaches, and a mile to the Eastern Trail. A ten minute walk from my house is The Village Tavern restaurant, a convenience store and gas station.
Your suite is sunny and roomy. The bedroom has a comfy chair with chaise for lounging/or use as a toddler bed. The bathroom has a walk-in two-person shower with shampoo, conditioner, soap etc . There is a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator (with chilled water).
Our home is in a quiet family neighborhood with a sidewalk. There is a restaurant, tennis courts and a playground nearby. There are many beaches close by, and I provide a pass for Kennebunk beaches. It is an easy drive to Portland, a 45 minute drive to L.L. Bean, and a 2 minute drive to Rte. 95 (Maine Tpk).
  • The suite was very cozy and quiet, and had lots of amenities! It's close to trails and also not far from the coast and the beautiful Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. Ann looked out for us and had great recommendations. We had a really terrific stay.

    Lauren2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, quiet, convenient to the turnpike but not too close. Mario the welcoming cat is very gracious.

  • I stayed at the Songbird suite for about two months after starting a new job in the area. The private room in a middle income home was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The refrigerator and microwave were very convenient. Everything in the bathroom worked well, and hot water was reliable. The WiFi signal was strong. The heating system kept me warm during the cold winter and spring season. Ann was very generous when my schedule changed. I enjoyed the opportunities to speak with her and her son. Sometimes I let their cat Mario visit while I was in the room. I would stay there again.

    Tomas Mya2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Ann's place is a perfect little suite, well-appointed, with plenty of privacy and quiet. Birdsong in morning. The area is safe and a short drive to many sights, including the Maine Diner, where we had an excellent lunch. Ann was a great host, and kindly provided local information. Her cat Mario is also pretty adorable, and will love to hang with you if you like, or you can easily keep him out of the suite if you're not a cat person. Highly recommend a stay here if in the area!

  • Ann's home was the perfect place for our visit to Maine for a family wedding. It is spacious, comfortable and has an ensuite bathroom. And it is quiet. It provided a tranquil respite from the throngs of tourists during high season. There is parking right outside. Each time we opened our bedroom door we were welcomed by Mario, the friendly cat. Ann provided us with fresh coffee, a beach pass, beach chairs, beach towels, maps and guidebooks of the local area. Ann is a lovely person and a very thoughtful host. Next time we come to Maine we hope to stay here again.

  • Nice big room with private ensuite. Comfortable bed and especially enjoyed the two easy chairs for relaxing at the end of the day. Microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, beach supplies including parking permit, chairs, boogie boards, towels, sunscreen... she thought of it all! Lots of useful information in the room and provided by the host. A 20 minute drive to the beach but close to The Eastern Trail for biking. We'd do it again!

For the discerning traveler who appreciates quality & attention to detail, this 1790 carriage barn loft apartment is in the historic district of Kennebunkport. Enjoy the natural light, remarkable quiet, and privacy on the second floor with exposed beams and rare architectural structure. Just steps to the amenities of the Port, minutes to the beaches, this is well suited for 1-2 adults with a queen bed, full bath, open concept sitting room and kitchen, heat/ac, and off street parking for one car.
  • We booked Beverly's apartment for our parents, whom we surprised with a four night stay for a 60th birthday celebration. They have been traveling the area for the last 30+ years so knew the area well. They enjoyed the lovely accommodations close to the amenities in Dock Square, and drove a short drive to all their favorite beaches. The stay was perfect for their four night getaway and we'd recommend it to any couple looking for the same

  • The cottage is lovely, the location is perfect and Beverley is a gracious host. We loved every minute of our stay at the cottage.

  • Wow!!! We had such a great time. Beverley place is beautiful, great location, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip.

  • Exactly as expected from description and pictures, lovely space and great location, perfect for a couple!

  • Elegantly renovated carriage house with modern amenities. Beverley provided a peaceful, meticulously clean and well appointed apartment. She has a keen eye for design and detail and did a wonderful job anticipating every need. The description was exactly as described, but even better. The space was even prettier than the posting and the location should be listed as: best in town. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Beverley!

  • This was the best experience! The home is quaint and cozy, it's tucked in a beautiful part of Kennebunkport just a few steps from the shops and restaurants. If we could live there we would!

    Nicole2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Beverley's was a wonderful experience. We felt that we were the first to stay in her beautifully renovated apartment, finding it to be extremely clean and organized. The location is quiet, private, easy to locate and a short walk to the centre of scenic Kennebunkport. We will definitely return. Beverley was a very present and respectful host. You won't be disappointed

The cottage is located on a quiet neighborhood, near many beaches; away from traffic. you can bike or walk to the Harbor. At the Harbor you will see two restaurants, beautiful views of marshes and ocean, a playground, picnic pavilion, kayak rentals, fishing, crabbing, and a small beach. Trolley stops that can bring you to shops, mini golf, tennis courts, and nearby beaches. Ogonquit, with the magnificent Marginal Way, and Kennebunkport are only a few miles away.
The cottage is ideal for a family of 4. Can accommodate 6, but it is a little tight.
We are centrally located between Ogunquit and Kennebunk port and many beaches. We are in walking distance to the supermarket and a laundry mat. Also in Harbor Road you will be able to access two restaurants, a wonderful playground, a gazebo for picnicking, kayak rentals, and a small beach.
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Mary Pia's cottage. The location was nice and convenient visiting the local beach or for day trips. The cottage was kept very clean and was stocked with all the basics for our stay. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the fire pit. Thanks again for a nice experience.

    Bailey2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great Value for this area, we had a 5 night stay and the cottage had more than enough space for us (2adults) and would easily accommodate a family, I think 6 people would be tight if it was for more than 1 or 2 nights. We loved the screened in porch for the evenings and the quiet location. Easy to find, short walk to the amazing Fisherman's catch restaurant, and many other local eateries - we loved Cafe 1690 bakery!! easy drive to Kennebunkport, Ogonquit and Portland, we were able to do a lot of exploring. The internet works, however the signal isn't always consistent - I'm sure that could be fixed though :) I recommend this cottage A1

  • Lovely little cottage for no more than 4. (There was 6 of us) Ideal place to stay for anyone who wants to enjoy at a restful, peaceful and beautiful town in Maine. Loved hanging out in the enclosed patio and watching the fireflies. Bbq grill offered us great meals. Mosquitos are a menace so insect repellent is a must. You are near the beaches by trolly or rental. Great location. Friendly people and scenic views. The cottage is dated and weak wifi if you need it. Make sure you bring your own linen. If not there is a local linen provider with a steep cost if you don't call in advance. With updates on furnishings and amenities this cottage will be one you will enjoy to come back to.

    Patricia2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good location and though we were told there were no linens we forgot. Typical old school Maine cottage. Decent value for the price.

    Jeffrey2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little cottage ideal for couple or small family, very homely. Good location, restaurant down the rd was great and you can walk to it. Supermarket nearby. Good base to explore the coast. Don't forget tea towels and hand towels! Maybe not best for crawling babies as lots of lovely things to pull on!

    Sophie2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice little cottage perfect for family vacations. Mary Pia is a nice and honest person. Wi-Fi is was slow and it was hard to get signal in all rooms, but overall we had a great time!

Beautiful beach house located steps away from Goose Rocks Beach and walk to The Tides Inn, a Kennebunkport Landmark for elegant dining, a great lobster roll on the porch or drinks with friends. This spacious 4 bedroom and 2 bath that is only 50 steps to the beach is the perfect location for a getaway. Only 5 mi from downtown Kennebunkport where you can enjoy a variety of different restaurants and shops.
  • Karl was an awesome host and his house is beautiful. Clean, safe, easy walk to the beach, open concept, private back patio and more. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon!

  • The house was beautiful and met all our needs! Karl was an excellent host and responded quickly to all our questions or concerns. The beach is truly beautiful and great for walking. Having the Tides Inn a short walk is an added bonus! We hope to return.

If you've never been to "The Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude " you're missing out!! 11~30 through 12~10 The charm of our home is exquisite, with all the original hardwood floors, light fixtures and hand carved banisters and doors. The expansive front porch calls your name to sit awhile! We are in walking distance to the "Historical Downtown", which has amazing restaurants, bakeries, parks, shops and a library. We are just a short 4 miles to Kennebunkport and beautiful New England beaches!!
We have two very spacious rooms with a queen size bed in each room. One room also has a crib. The price for the room is $59.00 per night.(2 people) There's an additional fee of $25.00 if you need both rooms. The bath is spacious with a shower/tub. There are stairs to climb! One set of stairs is in the Grand Foyer and a staircase in the kitchen that leads directly up to your room. Must climb stairs!
This is a small, warm community with people who truly care and appreciate your business!

  • The stately house with a commodious porch is on a quiet street, yet it is only a five minute walk to shopping and dining on an attractive main street. It is a short drive to some spectacular Maine shoreline scenery and quaint villages. The home is comfortable and family-oriented. Our room was spacious and airy. This is an easy place to relax in.

    Daniel2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Christine's place! Beautiful large house, stylish spacious room, super comfy bed where we got a great sleep, and very lovely hosts. and even a friendly cat that came to say hi but never bothered us in any way. The house is a very short drive from Kennebunkport which is a very lovely destination full of delicious eateries and cute shops. Thanks a lot, Christine, we would definitely love to come again if we're back in Maine!

    Hana2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Chrstine's house is absolutely beautiful! We were only there for one night, but we loved being able to stay in an authentic Kennebunk home rather than a hotel or motel. Our room was clean and neat and we loved the decorations. Christine provided us with a list of some of her favorite places to eat in town, which was very helpful. Unfortunately, because of timing, we didn't get to meet Christine personally, but we had no problems checking in or out and coming and going s we pleased.

Old world elegance. Built in 1848, this fully restored estate on the Kennebunk river sits just 0.2 of a mile from beautiful Dock Square, Kennebunkport. Located on world famous Ocean Avenue, where President George H. W. Bush has his summer home.
The Old River House is in the very heart of Kennebunkport, in town elegance and ease. No hassle finding parking in the 'Port,' just walk. Walk or drive to the beach. The adjacent Town Parks are very well maintained and used by locals and vacationeers. Kennebunkport really is Fun and Happiness. Its a great place for Adults and Kids.
'The Old River House is nestled among the many old Captain's Mansions of the 18th Century. An almost $800,000 renovation in 2010 brings this grand old Captain's mansion back to its original grandeur. Antiques throughout the many rooms and the frequent passing of the Kennebunkport horse drawn carriage brings one back to that slower, more quaint part of American history. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the porch are just perfect for watching the river boat traffic and the children taking sailboat lessons at the 'Arundel Yacht Club' next door. Restaurants and pubs are all an easy walk.
  • Doesn't get any better than this!

  • Scott and Cheryl were great, very welcoming and happy to accommodate our various needs. The house is lovely. The downstairs has a welcoming kitchen and two large living rooms that were perfect for our family members who dropped in and out over the weekend. The bedrooms were all very pleasant and comfortable and the sink in each bedroom meant there were no waiting lines for the bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for visiting with family while preparing a meal. The view of the river is lovely, and it is a short walk into town, so no need to have to fight the K'port traffic.

    Rebecca2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Large house, great for large groups or families. Comfortable, affordable, and clean. Great location, walking distance to town.

  • Where do we begin? We had the most wonderful return to Kennebunkport for a small, three generation family get-together. From the moment the reservation was made we were welcomed by Scott and Cheryl. Just walking in the door of the Old River House an air of comfort and relaxation set in. The house has spacious gathering spaces and a wealth of bedrooms each with their own personality. Though only there for a weekend, it felt familiar and like home. We even got ghosted by "somebuddy"!! The location is perfect for an easy walk to the center of Dock Square, a long, moonlit walk to the rocky shores along Ocean Ave and drives to Kittery for a day of shopping or up to Portland or Freeport for the same. (But why would you want to leave the Old River House for that long?!) We could not have asked for a more perfect spot for a very special weekend for our family. Thank you Scott and Cheryl!

    Deanna2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, communication was great! The house has lots of character in such a historic area! It was neat to stay in an older house in such a quaint town..we used this for a staff work retreat weekend and we enjoyed having the opportunity to do our work but enjoy the area as well!! We hope to be back again! Thanks so much!

The apartment is sparse but was clean and spacious and exactly what we needed. And we could bring our large dog! John was always nearby if we needed anything, and was truly helpful and welcoming. • Pete's place is a great location (about 5 min drive from downtown KPT) and the views of the harbor/bay are phenomenal. It's also a very large home with plenty of space for a big group. However, the biggest complaint is that I feel that linens/towels should be included. This adds about $160 to the cost of the rental and is just a major inconvenience more than anything else. Also, the home is starting to show it's age and the grill outside has seen much better days. I would stay at Peter's place again, but perhaps a longer stay and not just two nights as you'd get more "value".

Classic Kennebunkport 4,800 sq ft 'cottage' (1890's) on 1.6 acre lot with sprawling lawn out back. Back of house faces the Atlantic with 180 degree view (obstructed to ocean in places) 5 - 8 min. walk to ocean, food, boating, tennis, fishing and The Colony Hotel. 1.5 miles to 'downtown' Kennebunkport . Modern kitchen and outdoor bbq and dining. Living room, tv/game room, office. 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor, 2 bedrooms on 3rd floor with 6 twin beds - great for 'kids'.
3 full baths - all on 2nd floor - 1 w/ tub only, the others with shower and tub. Half bath on 1st and 3rd floors. Outdoor shower off back door. Ping pong table in enclosed deck area.
Very quiet street with many old, original homes & gardens.
  • It's a beautiful, old, large home per the description! Very roomy. Ground floor has family room/kitchen, formal dining room, and two living rooms including the TV room! In addition to the 4 bedrooms on the second floor, there's a study. And on the third floor are two bedrooms with a funny third bedroom that has a toilet and sink IN the bedroom. Wild and wonderful! One small caution: as you walk from the family room into the hallway toward the dining room, the floor drops an inch or two and it takes you by surprise; took us a few surprised moments to get used to that. We were there in October just as the leaves were starting to turn. With the trees fully leafed out, the view of the ocean is mostly obstructed by the trees... but still really lovely.

  • Beautiful home, fantastic location less than 1 mile from POTUS 41 and the beautiful town of Kennebunkport. The only negative I can think of is that it has 10 or 12 single beds and only one king-size bed. Couples will be sleeping 6 feet apart, which may not be a bad thing for some!

    Peter2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely spacious home with beautiful front porch and large green lawn was a real treat for our extended family getaway. The neighborhood was beautiful as well, enjoyed having the bikes there and being able to walk to town, out to dinner, to the shore. The house was warm for such a large old place ( it was chilly outside at night). The kitchen layout was great for meal preparation however the kitchen utensils/cookware left something to be desired- no sharp knives, beat up pots and pans. We were traveling with three adult couples and one baby. The arrangement of all but one bedroom having single beds in them was a bit peculiar. Next time we'll have to flip a coin for who ends up with the king! Speaking of next time...we would not hesitate to rent this place again as the complaints we have are only minor and the value of the experience outweighs them by far.

    Kathleen2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a family gathering and the house was perfect! There is plenty of room inside, the backyard is stunning, and the beach is beautiful. Everyone was so impressed with the house!

    Manuel2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house was bigger than I expected, the kitchen was great and modern and very well equipped. You can walk within 5 minutes to see the beach, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. There were plenty of beds for our big family of 10, everyone had their own beds. The only thing I would recommend is to extend the wireless internet to where the family room is located, this is where our family hung out each night with each person having their own tablet. I would recommend this house for anyone who would like a location close to the water and enjoy the sea view.

The neighborhood is quiet. A lobster fisherman lives 4 doors down and sells fresh lobsters and clams !
  • Jayne's place exceeded our expectations in many ways. The house was incredibly clean and spacious, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Beds are really comfortable. The location is also great. It is easy to access portland and beautiful beach areas such as Kennebunkport. Jayne is such a helpful and accommodating host! She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. It was one of my best airbnb experiences. I think it is an ideal vacation place. Very highly recommended!

  • Great, comfortable place in Wells. Close to everything. Jayne was wonderful and very accommodating.

  • We loved Jayne's place! Secluded yet central and perfect for exploring the entire coast. Jayne is easily accessible by text and leaves plenty of notes to help with any additional questions you may have. Would definitely recommend to family or friends and hope to return soon. Thank you Jayne!

    Chris2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in Jayne's house. It is located in a quiet street just off the main road, walking distance to a small supermarket and restaurants. A short drive to beautiful beaches. The house is very comfortable and attractively decorated. We would happily stay here again if we return to the area.

  • A wonderfully warm and welcoming home very close to beaches, lighthouses and village shopping. It was the perfect location for all of our adventures along the Maine coast. The home itself was decorated well and had comfortable beds, as well as a large soft sofa in the living room which works well as a twin, if needed.

    Wendy2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great cottage to stay in. It is secluded but near everything you would want to visit in the area. The hostess was very easy to communicate with and we will definitely stay here again!

  • Justin and Jorge house is perfect!! Close to all the great spots! Quiet, quaint and reLaxing .

    Heidi2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Air BnB experience and it was great. The property is beautiful and the hosts checked in a few times to see if everything was going well. I would choose this listing again without hesitation.

    Wendy2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! Justin and Jorge were great hosts and were extremely responsive. The farmhouse is conveniently located to both beaches as well as the port. We look forward to our next visit!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very welcoming and really nicely finished. Super comfy beds were a real bonus. The location is great - easy access by car to Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise.

    Gail2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse is wonderful! It's a unique country oasis that's perfectly located to get to the beach or town. The renovation is meticulous. Jorge and Jason are fabulous hosts, accommodating our schedule and making sure all was perfect. And, their restaurant recommendations delicious. Thank you for a terrific week!

    Ellen2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse so much! It is a stunning and unique home, with stylish décor—it really should be featured in Architectural Digest or Maine Home magazine. The huge windows bring the landscape in, giving an experience of the Maine countryside, with all the amenities one could want. Jorge and Justin communicated regularly and made everything about our stay easy and comfortable. The Farmhouse is a lovely, tranquil retreat, perfectly located for the beaches of Kennebunkport and Goose Rocks, and the fun shops and restaurants in Dock Square. We had a great time in this beautiful spot.

    Alice2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to visit Kennebunk Justin Henri & Jorge farmhouse is only minutes away from the center of the village. It's also only minutes form Goosse Rock Beach. The Farmhouse has been renovated tastefully and everything inside is upscale. They answer quickly to any concern that you may have. My wife and I recommend their place and we will go back again hopefully very soon.

    elias2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was perfect for my mom, my sister and I. It is well equipped with Apple TV but no cable (not really needed anyways). Short distance by car from many beaches. Only thing preventing a 5 stars review is the fact there is no blinds in the bedrooms and the inconvenience of the shower/bath not being in a closed room. Would still definitely recommend it.

Newly renovated 3 bedroom antique cape located perfectly between Dock Square, Cape Porpoise, and the ocean! Close to everything Kennebunkport has to offer including renowned Cape Arundel golf course yet still have your privacy with the large backyard and deck. 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and 1 bedroom with two single beds. Plenty of parking, washer/dryer, large backyard, fire pit, and much more!
  • The house is exactly how it is shown and described. We loved it! It is so charming and conveniently located to everything in Kennebunkport. We used the grill and roasted marshmellows/made s'mores in the fire pit almost every night. We will definitely come back again. Blair was a great host. Thank you!

    Jen2016-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend the Seaglass Cottage and its host. My family arrived on time to celebrate Thanksgiving with a home cooked dinner and then we retired to the cozy living room where we sat in front of the wonderful wood fireplace. Our evenings always ended in front of that fireplace.

    Louis2016-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Blair was a wonderful host for our group. His communication before, during and after was impeccable. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine and a cozy but spacious clean house as our welcome! We appreciated the yard for the kids to play in as well as the firewood for a small fire! The kitchen was well equipped and bedding/extra blankets were abundant. The cleaning products provided made it easy to maintain the house during our stay as well as prepare for our departure. This house was always a pleasure to come back to at the end of a long day and suited us very comfortably. We will definitely stay here again when traveling in Maine!

    Bridget2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sea glass cottage, is everything we had hoped for, and much more. The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had a very cozy, welcoming feeling to it. We joked that we moved right in, and made it our home within hours. My family and I (husband, 3 year old, and 9 month old) stayed at the house for a week. My only concern was the loft area on the second floor - it is perfect for adults, but small children could potentially fit thru the upper railing bars, which made me nervous anytime my 3 year old went upstairs. If we stay again, which we definitely hope to, I will ask Blair to put up some type of safety barricade...which I'm sure he will have no problem doing. Blair is the absolute best. He is happy to help make your stay as perfect as possible. The setup of the house is very convenient for a family with children. We stayed on the second floor and felt like we had lots of privacy to watch tv, do laundry..etc without disturbing the children after they went to bed. The kitchen is open to the eating and living area, which is so nice. The backyard has a fire pit, which we enjoyed making s'mores at. My only potential negatives for some, but it didn't bother us, is - the house is on a main road, on the corner...you do hear cars driving by. It's not a super busy street, but I would still never leave children or pets unattended in the yard. The location is amazing...and I feel the home offers a great value for the space and location. Kennebunkport is our new favorite place, and hopefully one day, we can buy our own beach cottage from Blair!

    Julie2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Located very near the street but extremely convenient offstreet parking excellent backyard and outdoor porch. House was clean roomie high ceilings. A television downstairs in the sitting area would be an excellent addition overall experience was outstanding and we would go back Again next year and use the same property!

  • Blair made us feel very welcome; in fact, he let us check in a little early, and stay a few hours later on the last day, which meant a lot in terms of us enjoying our stay. The place was very clean and we loved the open kitchen with new appliances.

  • Had a great time in Cape Porpoise. Walked to restaurants from this rustic cottage. Great location, just far enough away from the busy Kennebunkport scene.

  • We stayed here for 2 nights, exceptional place.. spacious, clean, comfy and it has all what we needed for our stay. The location is just perfect, quite, 2 minutes from a couple of good restaurants and 5 minutes from the charming Kennebunkport. We will definitely stay again. Thanks Sarah

    Ashraf2014-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and her husband make us feel welcome on their house, they placed fresh and beautiful flowers on the kitchen's table, Sarah communicated with us all the time when we needed, so friendly and helpful. The listing description was accurate, the house is a very quiet place, confortable for a romantic or family vacation, clean , old fashion peaceful environment, that makes you feel like in a "burble" outside of our daily fast paced routine, I loved this house and would recommend for a vacation's destination to my friends, will repeat the visit when I have a chance. The neighborhood is quiet as well, very private, I never see anyone around, as I said previously, made me feel so in peace, staying there for 5 days was the best stress therapy ever! This beautiful place has a perfect location just few miles from the City's attractions, 10 miles away from Walmart in case you missed anything big, 2 miles driving to the Local Grocery Store that have everything essential needed. This was our family of 4 first experience renting a House instead of a Hotel, and we are very happy with our decision, based in our experience, we will keep using Airbnb in the future :)

  • The listing was perfect, adorable Maine cottage, close to everything in quiet area.

  • This cottage is well located in the village of Cape Porpoise and we enjoyed walking to the local restaurants, all of which are excellent. It is a bustling little place with a great gourmet deli, gift shop, market and library too. There is plenty to see and do in the area and we really enjoyed our first visit to Kennebunkport and Maine. The cottage, and the furnishings, are very basic, but it has most of what you need for a short stay. Although we didn't meet our host Sarah, she was responsive when we contacted her.

    Lindsay2015-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage near the touristic center (5 min drive) of Kennebunkport. Very quiet and perfect to disconnect from the everyday life. High recommendation!

    Till2014-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah provided a great Airbnb experience. Her home was clean, well appointed and close to everything we needed for a great weekend. Being a colder part of the year, she made sure the house was warm on arrival (bonus). The quiet location is steps away from Cape Porpoise center which has restaurants and a small general store. We enjoyed great comfort-food meals at The Wayfarer and The Ramp. The house sleeps 4 comfortably and could accommodate a couple of crashers if needed...plenty of space on the couches. Wish we had more time to spend there and hope to return. Thank you Sarah!! (and Paul)

  • Although we didn't have a chance to connect with May Ann and Jack due to our schedules, they called us and explained how to get in and to let them know if we had any trouble or needed anything. The room and bathroom were very nice, just as described in the pictures. The setup of the room was also good as we didn't have to go through their shared living space. Definitely an enjoyable experience and would recommend it.

  • Jack and Mary Ann were wonderful hosts! We took our time driving up the Maine coast on our way in, and despite being 2-3 hours later than we thought, Jack was at the door when we arrived and helped us with our luggage and keys. The room was as advertised and plenty of space for what we needed. The house is 2 minutes' walk from the center of Kennebunkport -- we would definitely stay again!
