Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in River Tamar

My boyfriend and I visited with two friends, so we booked the entire barn. Helen was there to meet us when we arrived and offered us a tea and coffee with biscuits. We found the barn to be spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and interior design were lovely quality and comfortable. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The quality and choice of breakfast was amazing and they catered for a vegetarian and gluten free. Helen was a great host who couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are pretty and peaceful with lovely views of the Countryside. The photos dont do this place justice. We really couldnt rate this place highly enough. Thanks Jen

Really nice stay. A very cosy, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The highlight of the stay was the fantastic breakfast, with a fantastic view of Dartmouth. Lizzie and her husband are warm, welcoming and friendly. The stay was also very reasonably priced compared to others in Dartmouth, and even more so given how nice a place it is. I would definitely recommend staying, especially if you are visiting Dartmouth for a Pass Out Parade.

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Ideally location for the this beautiful part of England. Friendly and hospitable host.

Great Airbnb - comfy beds, lovely breakfast. Belinda very friendly and helpful. Dartington village is in the middle of some beautiful countryside but only 5mins drive to Totnes.

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

Some lovely quiet days in a historically interesting place in a rural setting. Princetown is a great starting point for hiking over the moor. It is possible to have dinner in Princetown, which is one km from Tor Royal Farm. Cozy to live on a farm with cows, sheep and friendly shepherd dogs.

Stayed with Nicky and Si for a couple of days in Swimbridge and I think the most tranquil AirBnB I’ve stayed at yet! Breakfasts were continental and lots of choice, and Nicky was great in responding quickly to queries on check in and the room. The room was clean and well put together overlooking a great view of the church.

Jane and Peter were lovely and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed having the balcony for an evening drink! Breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day. Lots of delicious restaurants on the doorstep. Thank you for a great stay.

Gorgeous accommodation in the perfect location. My husband said that the breakfast was out of this world and the hosts even made me a sandwich for my very early start before I did my race from Lizard point! Perfect location for walking trails and exploring the beautiful local area. Would definitely stay again!

Ben and Claire were the perfect host ,the room was lovely bright and airy .lovely nights sleep in a comfortable bed, very quiet . Sat in the private garden which was lovely. Breakfast was much appreciated. Would highly recommend .

Spent a lovely 4 nights in order to celebrate our honeymoon. Our room was spotless and we appreciated having the use of our own breakfast/living area. The location and the accommodation were absolutely idyllic.

We had a lovely stay at Pollys. Polly is really helpful and friendly. Flexibility with booking in was very much appreciated. Room was very nice and cosy. Looked just like the pictures but actually better in reality. Awesome deep bath. Very nice breakfast with personsl touches. We had a couple of nice chats too. Her garden is a little gem much like the house. Polly is a warm friendly lovely person and we recommend staying with her.

Beverley and her husband Ian was so friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean and exactly what I needed. They made me feel right at home, letting me freely use their kitchen and bathroom. She even let me help out in their beautiful garden! The house is right next to the station and only 10 minutes walk to Totnes main street. Perfect location for me to explore Totnes and surrounding areas. They were so accommodating as they let me store my luggage on the day of checkout as there were no-one else booked in that day. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in Totnes!

Beautiful stay at Julie and Graham's. The location and scenery were absolutely stunning. The annexe had everything we needed and more, including breakfast and homemade flapjacks which was a lovely touch. Very kind and welcoming hosts with a clean, cosy and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommend!

We've just had a wonderful 3 night stay with Rita, Eric and their 2 lovely dogs. Rita is an excellent host, always going above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We had prosecco and snacks in the hot tub, and a locally sourced breakfast every morning. The location is great for exploring the south coast and Dartmoor. If you stay in a Friday night, there's a great little pizza and fish & chip van in town.

We really enjoyed our stay with Jill - she was very easy to talk to and we felt like we had a lot in common with her outlook. The room was lovely with a beautiful garden out back. We relished the rainy mornings listening to the songbirds and the rain pattering on the fauna whilst having a cup of tea. Breakfast was lovely, delicious crusty bread with tasty butter and jam and cereal. It’s also in a great spot, really close to Penmere station and not a long walk into Falmouth either. We’d happily stay again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Claudine's place. Communication was quick and efficient from the start. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed with freshly baked scones and tea on the lovely terrace. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastfully furnished. It is obvious that much thought and love has been put into the decor and furnishings of this beautiful home. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and the cosy duvet was filled with duck-feathers. It is indeed a homely and welcoming place. Breakfast is a must as it is home-made, hearty, beautifully presented and it consisted of many flavours, textures and colours. I had a magnificent view of the sea from my bedroom window. I highly recommend this gorgeous and friendly B&B.

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Had two amazing days in Charlestown at Susan's place! Everything was clean, Susan provided us will all essentials and more, was a very welcoming host. Would absolutely recommend!

Josianne was fantastic to stay with. she was so welcoming and helpful, very knowledgeable on the local area and gave great suggestions on where to visit. I will definitely be staying with her again, I'd highly recommend.
