Cochise Cabin at Myrtle Kraft Cottages

KathyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay in Cochise cabin. It is a great location to share the adjoining cabin with friends. We spent many hours watching the birds at the feeders and conversing with our friends on the porch. If you enjoy birdwatching and great mountain views, this is the place for you. It is small but has everything you need to be comfortable. We plan to return next year.

Mountain View 1 Bedroom Suite - Unit 3

Brian's little place is perfect for a couple to explore the bootheel of NM, and, in 80 miles visit Bisbee, or cross into Mexico. The apartment is small, but very nicely appointed, with decent internet. highly recommended

Sky Gypsy Cafe Astronomy, Birding, Hiking. 3 Bdrm

SunRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the perfect place to stay for my birding and astrophotography trip. Close to Portal for world renowned birding and some of the darkest skies you’ll ever encounter and only 2 hours from a major airport. Peter was a responsive, helpful, and gracious host. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Cienega Ranch- Guesthouse SouthWest Working Ranch

AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed the pond or Cienaga, for the migrating birds and the cute goose named Lucky. The drive way/road is gravel so bike riding was best out on the paved highway and up into Cave Creek area. We felt very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and kitchen. Kelley has selected nice utensils, plates, etc.Bring your groceries because the dining out options are limited. There is a small grocery near by attached to a bar and restaurant . All in one. If you want to look at the night sky this is the place! We loved gazing up each night and deciphering constellations. This is a great place to detach from electronics too although they have excellent wifi.

Entire Quonset Hut at Rhumb Line Vineyard

CharlesRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Todd's place is very quiet and private. You have a connection to the outside world through Siri but there are no TVs or radios and no washer or dryer on site. It is in a beautiful location in the middle of vineyards and lavender fields. It's a few miles into Willcox but close to many wineries. There are no windows in the quonset except for at the ends which have sliding glass doors and patios. There is no stove in the kitchen so a guest should not plan to do much cooking. The space is uncluttered and everything seems to be fairly new. We enjoyed the dark sky at night, the wonderful view of the fields and mountains, the nearby wine tasting and the serene disconnect from the outside world that you feel when you stay here.

Entire Quonset Hut at Rhumb Line Vineyard

JenniferRating, 5 stars38 months ago
The Hut was just perfect in every way. We loved the location - in the middle of vineyards, lavender and olive trees - and away from city lights, but easy to get to. It was just right for my hiking pal and me. We each wanted our own bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed with lovely linens, luxurious towels and bath products. The fridge, toaster oven and microwave were all we needed to fix our breakfasts and dinner. We planned our stay around exploring the Chiricahuas - we did that and it was fabulous - but we also enjoyed the bonus of learning about and exploring the Sulphur Springs valley and its history and agriculture, and the Sand Hill Cranes near the golf course in Wilcox - truly a memorable experience. Our hosts were fantastic - timely communication and helpful. Excellent wifi meant we could stay connected. We look forward to a return stay at The Huts!

Log House. Rodeo NM/Portal AZ

TereasaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed for two months and have not a single negative comment! Our stay was beautiful, peaceful, full of walks, watching the birds, javelinas, and cows. The house was well stocked. Kellye and Dee (& staff!) were attentive, yet allowed us our solitude. It is remote, which is exactly what we wanted! But, the post office and restaurants in nearby Rodeo and Portal are super friendly and an easy drive; groceries in Douglas was a beautiful hour's drive away, and the sites of Cave Creek Canyon, Fort Bowie, Pancho Villa State Park and more were very enjoyable. Tucson airport provided us an airport to travel in and out of for work during our stay (about 2 hours away), and the extremely high speed internet kept us connected (when we could tear ourselves away from the beautiful porch, views, and solitude!) Thank you Kellye & Dee!!

We really enjoyed our time at the huts. Todd was very communicative and the space was exactly as advertised. Would highly recommend anyone doing wine tasting, stargazing, hiking at Chiricahua, etc. to stay here.
