Monthly Rentals in Pleasure Island

Decided last minute to go to the beach for my daughter’s spring break. It’s literally on the other side of the road from the beach. While it was spring break there were food places only opened on Fri-Sun. But Carolina Beach is down the street. This location is really everything. It has everything you need to cook. It has a mini fridge and a deep freezer! We will definitely be returning!

Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.

Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

Wow! What an amazing find in Kure Beach. The home is exactly as described but better. You are within walking distance to the fishing pier and wonderful beaches, and a quick drive or an amazing bike ride (provided) to the aquarium and Southport Ferry. Maybe the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We will definitely be back!
