This stay was amazing! The location to the beach and pool was ideal with a newborn. This was the perfect size for the 3 of us and our dog, who enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. This was well worth the price and would love to stay again!

Such a relaxing stay. Wildlife in abundance!! Pizza/Italian with live music right around the corner.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It was very nice and clean. Everything was easily accessible. The fire pit in the back is also a nice touch to the place. Would book again

Absolutely loved staying here. I grew up in the area and Sally’s place is a perfect location for enjoying the beautiful beach and walking to Peg Leg’s for food/drinks. We are ready to go back and stay another week. We will definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying here. It's clean and spacious. I love how close it is to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to have a couple home cooked meals and even did a little baking! Beautiful place and another wonderful time with the family.

Loved the home, everything was fresh, clean and organized, and check-in was very flexible. Definitely recommend!

Darlene was absolutely amazing. The place was perfect with a lot of kitchen utensils for cooking. The private balcony off of the master had a spectacular view of the beach to enjoy your coffee or wine. Personally favorite was the swing on the front porch where we sat and enjoyed coffee every morning. Walking distance to The Crab Trap and Pompano Joes, both personal favorites. Close to Destin outlets and the Destin commons for shopping. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Can’t wait to go back!

Our stay at the Purple Sunset house was exactly what we expected from the photos and descriptions. It was walkable to the gulf beaches and conveniently had a pool just steps out the back door. Our family of four enjoyed the quiet, friendly neighborhood which was perfect for walking the dog. (as was the fenced in backyard) We made the most of our trip with several beach days, fishing pier walks, seafood meals, sunrises and sunsets. We even caught the blue angels practicing at Fort Pickens. Ric was awesome about offering us restaurant recommendations and checking in. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Great location, some wear and tear on the house but it's near the ocean and is to be expected. Had a few issues that were resolved in a timely matter. All in all it was a great trip

Robert and Courtney’s place was just as described, open, very spacious and well furnished. We were a party of 9 older adults who enjoyed the spaciousness with plenty of room for private time The kitchen was clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. We made several meals at home and this place has everything we needed including an air fryer and coffee makers etc. The furniture was good quality and comfy. The beds were very comfy. This place would easily accommodate upto 14-16 people comfortably The beach was about 6 min walk and easily accessible. Quite neighborhood and we had enough space to park our cars. We spent a lot of time in the living area just hanging out There are several grocery stores and restaurant with 7-10 min drive Will definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible week! From beginning to end - everything was just perfect. Check in was super easy and the place was beautifully clean when we arrived. Nikki has thought of everything to make your stay the best - from beach towels hanging in the entryway - a coffee maker in the master bathroom so you don’t wake everyone - plenty of books to read - these little details just added more fun to the whole experience! We loved having the Sound in the backyard - our kids had so much fun catching crabs and fish in the little river system back there. And the sunsets off the deck - gorgeous. The Gulf is so easy to get to with many different access points - we had fun hunting for shells, jumping waves, and seeing dolphins there! It was so quiet and relaxing - a week to unplug and just be together as a family. We hope to be back soon! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

What a beautiful home! It was spacious and luxurious, spotlessly clean, with all the amenities and supplies we needed for our family beach vacation. The living room and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, the master bathroom and jetted tub were luxurious, and the outdoor space was quiet and relaxing. The huge garage had beach and pickelball gear, beach chairs, cornhole, and a cart to get stuff to the beach. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we expected, but manageable, especially with the cart that was provided at the house. It took about 5 minutes without the kids, a little longer with kids and gear in tow. The beach itself was beautiful and not too crowded during spring break. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and we loved having the neighborhood amenities available. Claudiu was a perfect host, with excellent communication throughout our stay. We would be delighted to stay at this house again!

We absolutely loved staying here! The kids were on the pier every chance they had. The water is beautiful. They loved using the kayaks. The house was beautiful and perfect for the 7 of us. It was so peaceful and quiet! Also nice and close to all of the things we wanted to do while in the area. Would highly recommend!

Couldn't have been more happy with the space we rented. The location was great, the host was great, and overall my family had a fantastic time!

The location of this house is so great. The community is very private, so it feels very safe and non-touristy or crowded. We really loved the 3 minute walk to the beautiful private beach and the larger pool right near the beach when we wanted to get some full sun and float around. We also really enjoyed the private pool in the backyard. It was larger than I expected when looking at the pictures. The hosts, Blake & Jennifer, were so kind and always very quick to respond whenever I asked a question. The house, furniture, and beds were so comfortable! The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need which was nice when we wanted to grill out or cook breakfast. Bathrooms were spotless and super clean! We really loved this area and will definitely be back. Check-in and check-out were both super easy.

It's easy to feel right at home here! We were a group of 6 and the house was perfect for all of us to sleep comfortably but still have our space. We were staying in Pensacola to visit my niece and this location was perfect so she can come back and forth from base to spend time with us. We loved how relaxing the space was, we really didn't have to leave. We mostly stayed in and enjoyed the MANY! amenities provided. The kitchen was well stocked too so cooking was easy. And nearby is a great Thai food restaurant (Thai Curry House) if you don't feel like cooking. We spent a lot of time out on the water in the kayaks, enjoyed the amazing massage chairs, and spent the evenings watching the gorgeous sunsets in the hot tub or on the pier. Being here makes you truly appreciate nature. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. Dennis was such a gracious host and even let us extend our stay. He was also an excellent communicator, we felt very taken care of.

We loved staying here! Super clean, very quiet, lovely amenities! The beach access was super easy to get to one house away and the beach itself wasn’t overcrowded at all since it’s a private beach. We were provided beach towels, bikes, and plenty of kitchen amenities. Check in was SO easy. An umbrella and two chairs were set up every morning for us. The beach was perfect. We stayed during Hurricane Helene and the property was very proactive and responsive to us during that time. Felt totally safe and would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!

Stayed for one month. Easy access to the beach. Lots of restaurants in a 15 minute radius. Host was particularly helpful and responsive when we had an issue with one of the TVs not connecting to the cable company.

Our family and another family enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Clean, functional, well equipped property with the perfect beach access. We had everything I hoped for to make a family trip easy and enjoyable. I will definitely keep this property on our list for our Santa Rosa visits.

We spent 1-2hrs on the beach before we even entered the house! This location was perfect!! Close to NAS, 35 min from gulf shores beach for more great food options. The kids couldn’t wait to get in the water (and sand) everyday!

We loved our time at Happy Place! An easy walk to the beach and no need to rent a golf cart if you don’t want to. It was easy to find, park, etc. There is also an elevator and convenient carts to use to load/unload. Communication was timely and super clear. It was also great in December to have a hot tub and heated pool. The only thing I would point out is that there are three flights of stairs to the unit (however there is an elevator in the middle of the complex) and stairs from the living room to the bedroom. It was no issue to us, but wanted to highlight it in case it is important for future guests to consider. We would 100% recommend staying here for a small family, girls trip or couples getaway!
