Vacation rentals in Owen County

I had a great time stayong here. It was exactly what I needed. I was traveling woth dogs and Brad made it easy and stressfree. The cabin was set up perfectly for us. There were some AC issuses orior to my arrival and Brad handled the proactively and professionally. I would definitely stay here again! Brad is fantastic at communication!

I loved Jenny's place. We didn't have a lot of communication because we didn't need it. She explained everything I needed to know in a few emails. The place was easy to get into and the checkout requirements were terrific and easy. The rugged beauty of the place took me by surprise. In a good way. My dog thought she was in heaven. Lots of space inside and out. We will go back again, I'm sure.

We just needed to stay for a night. The home was easy to find, and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed dinner on the cute porch! The traffic was loud throughout the night, but with my kiddos' white noise machine, they weren't bothered.

Really enjoyed my stay at Billy’s place! It was so beautiful and peaceful! Coffee on the porch in the morning was wonderful and I went for a fun bird walk in the morning and got pictures of a white-crowned sparrow, and indigo bunting, and an eastern towhee. It was absolutely beautiful out there. The space itself was really nice and comfortable. Traveling as a single female I felt totally comfortable!

Absolutely love the house. I loved the view from the top decks. The waterfalls is very nearby and beautiful. I love the fact that we was able to book this place and keep our dog with us. Thats what sold us on staying here and the fishing for the kids. Very big bass in the pond. Good pass time with the family. Unfortunately the general store wasn't open. The lady was sick that runs it. Very nice community. Jeff did great with communication. Especially when i stupidly locked myself out of the house. I did accidentally check in early after 24 hours of no sleep to get from NC to IN. He was very nice about it, and it was no problem. I knew the water did not smell good from previous reviews. So no complaints there. I was just greatful to get this place last minute so we could be close to the club to compete in the UKC TOC. Very blessed to stay here.

Great location near boat launch if you are there for use of lake. Springtime lake is often flooded water levels 35 ft. Above normal,not good for fishing, very tight driveway for parking boat & living quarters are up a steep stairway, so if you can,t do stairs be aware. Beautiful place, patio is up in tree tops with view of water , Bill is very helpful & fast to respond. Overall great spot, would be perfect for kayakers!

We had a wonderful stay at the Summer Kitchen at The Hill. Comfortable and convenient. The town of Spencer is a hidden gem—it was great to take in historic houses and spring flowers on the pleasant walk to the downtown square. The Hill is a particularly interesting place to stay—fun to read more about the history of the place and the current owners' (our hosts') efforts to give it new life!

checked in easily, very peaceful surrounding, took a nap. we went for a hike out at the falls. hiked on the farm a little bit. had a good time

Beautiful place. Can’t quite capture the charm in pictures! Johnie was a very nice host and her dogs are the sweetest. About 10 min drive from clayshire castle. Would love to stay again!
