Lakefront Haven: Modern Cottage

Adorable, serene cabin on a small lake with responsive hosts. Picture-perfect screened in porch from which we could watch all types of birds. We enjoyed catching a variety of fish as well. The cabin itself was stocked well with towels, cleaning supplies and kitchen items. Very clean cabin with comfy beds. Convenient to all things Pocono related. We will be staying again in the future for longer so we can be sure to take out the provided kayaks.

This place is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Every little component of the place is thought out, and the location cannot be beat. There was more than enough room for the two of us in the master bedroom featuring a king size bed (which was SO COMFORTABLE) along with two additional large bedrooms. We were able to have a fire in the fire pit each night, and enjoyed our morning greetings from “Moochie the Mallard” (which we affectionately named him). Already figuring out when we can come back and bring along family to enjoy this gem with us.

We had an amazing multigenerational family retreat. Joan, our host, is a friendly and highly skilled communicator that discussed our needs & the property amenities before and during our stay to ensure we had a stress-free stay so we could focus on relaxing and enjoying family. The kitchen was provisioned with everything we needed to prepare and serve family favorite meals for 12. Bedrooms and sitting areas on each floor allowed family to either congregate or spend time in quiet. The elevator made it easy for young and old to move floor to floor especially for those with luggage, walkers or bad knees. Even with cool, rainy weather we found the unobstructed view of the river relaxing as we watched boats, fishermen, water fowl and even a juvenile eagle. Once the sun came out, we walked along the canal and stopped at a nearby coffee roaster for coffee and ice cream. Can’t wait to return to use the grill, bicycles, and canoe/kayaks or spend an afternoon in Frenchtown or New Hope.

My family was right at home in the beautifully open spaced cozy home. The fireplace helped us feel so cozy as the snow fell over the weekend and the property was perfect for snow play/sleighing for my kids…even the dog had a wonderful time. Would definitely return ❤️

Cozy cottage overlooking the Delaware river, bring your fishing pole and enjoy all the river has to offer. Eagles are nesting down river and are frequent seen soaring above. Wild ducks with their ducklings are common visitors. The deck railings can be lite up for that great romantic evening, while you relax on you own private deck high above the river. The cottage has about 15 steps to get to the first floor and there is a occasional train which blows its whistle while traveling up the river on the jersey shore day and nights. Nearby Easton is home to many restaurants and attractions.

This is the second renovated apartment above the antique shop on lovely historical Greenwich Street. This apartment is the 'brighter' side of the building with more natural window lighting.
