You will be given the access code to keys with your reservation. The front porch, laundry room and back yard are shared. The remainder is private. The house is in the heart of the oldest part of the famous Treme neighborhood, just four blocks from the French Quarter and the street car line. Location, location, location ... bike rentals in the French Quarter (4 blocks) ... bike lanes on Rampart (4 blocks) and Esplanade (1 block) ... new streetcar line on Rampart ... connecting you to any historic neighborhood or park WITHOUT GETTING IN A CAR. This home is not owner occupied, but owner is local and will be available for any questions or concerns. This cottage is two blocks from St. Charles Avenue, a major family-friendly parade route during Mardi Gras and a main thoroughfare to get around the city. It's close to many restaurants and bars. A small grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by. Additional information about the home will be provided to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. Coffee and bottled water available.

We are located in a quiet and safe suburb home with parking for many vehicles. The streetcar (trolly) is only 4 miles away which travels to the city of New Orleans; the city that never sleeps! My home is equipped with a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar and other sweetners. I also offer coke,diet coke,sprite and bottle water. There's a microwave, crock pot and a refrigerator, as well as utensils, dishes and other essentials for your convenience. We are in walking distance to a convenience store, a daiquiri shop and the Chalmette National Battlefield. Within a half mile radius there is the famous Rocky & Carlo's restaurant, a hospital, grocery, Wal Mart, laundromat, post office, banks, casino, local hot spots, and a park just to name a few!
