Cabin vacation rentals in Moab

If you want to escape the busy tourist area of downtown Moab this is the place! It's a 30 minutes or more dive up into the beautiful mountains. we wish we had more time to explore the scenery. It is a beautiful place with everything as described. It had snowed 6" overnight and the maintenance guy was there first thing in the morning to clear the roads.

Whispering pines was a lovely surprise. We had no idea how beautiful the setting for our cabin was. It was private, cozy and fun. We felt like we were in a completely different world than the touristy business of Moab. We spent every Morning and night in the hot tub enjoying the beautiful mountains, the sunsets , the night sky. And the surroundings .The cabin itself was cozy and fun and had everything we needed. Kathy at Whispering Oaks was supper helpful and available . We highly recommend Whispering Pines !!! You will Love it !

Such a beautiful family style cabin that you can tell is well loved and cared for by the owners. Family photos all over the cabin and their story is in a book for guests to read. This cabin is located on the very top of mt La Sal which took us about 30 min to get to from the bottom of the mountain and it is a windy windy road. At the top is the small camp site/private property of the owner with other cabins on site. There is no ATV trails near by and property is covered in snow, windy and very cold during winter months up to atleast April. I checked the weather conditions daily and didn’t see anything about snow up there but I didn’t realized how high we’d actually be. I’m sharing this for you to be prepared and check weather in Mt La Sal area at the top of peak. We spent a few days hanging at the cabin and had an amazing time. There are NO fire pits at the cabin which was a bummer so no s’mores. Then the other days we ventured down the mt to the Moab area and had a blast.

This is the second time that I stayed here and this time did not disappoint too. It’s close enough to town yet still far enough away. The cabin matches the pictures and description.

I live and work as a contract Midwife in Chinle Arizona, on the Navajo Nation Reservation, and my husband and son were visiting.... we went to Moab and were sooooo happy to find Moab Lodging Cabins. It was a great retreat... close to town, but far enough away to feel peaceful. The stars were amazing and I want to stay in one of the other cabins the next time...

A magical and peaceful retreat. We were in love with the views and the goats. Incredible star gazing as well. Cabin was cozy and just as described. Didn’t get to take advantage of the sauna or hot tub this time, but would love to return.

Great place to stay for the price.

Such a homey place in a beautiful area! little bit of a drive in and a little hard to find in the dark but nothing to fuss about. Hosts sent over clear and simple instructions and were very friendly. Thanks again for such a wonderful time !!

Cute little cabins, great for a “home base” in Moab while exploring the area. We stayed here w/ our 9yo while visiting Arches & Canyonlands, as it’s very convenient to both parks. Walkable to Proper Brewing Co where we enjoyed dinner and some local brews on 2 of our evenings there. Easy after-hours check-in process and staff in the front office was friendly & helpful. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of extra bath towels were provided. I think it would feel quite cramped if you had more than 4 people staying in this cabin, just my personal POV.

The view was stunning. The cabin was cate and cozy, especially the hot tub. The fridge keeps things chilled enough but certainly not cold or frozen in the freezer. Everything else was delightful.

This Moab lodge was so cozy & warm. I spent the night here with my boyfriend, his friend, and his friend’s fiancé. The 4 of us fit comfortably inside this cozy lodge. We really enjoyed our stay & would definitely come back.

Exactly What I was seeking. Remote privacy with wifi. I was able to blend meditation, relaxing, self-evaluation, long term planning and beautiful views.
