Beachfront vacation rentals in Moab

Tom’s place is magical - what a gem - we had the best family vacation. The photos don’t do the place justice - the scenery is better than expected and so was the 4 x 4 adventure. We made the road in our rav4 no problems - but definitely not something I would want to tackle at night - best to give yourself plenty of daylight to get there - plus then you see the views. Tom was so helpful and easy to get along with. So special as we had never been inside a Hogan before. Can’t say enough about this magical place. We hope to come back sometime. We loved that we had the place to ourselves essentially - it’s great to go in Moab in winter.

The views and location are just stunning. Tom is a great host and we loved his tortoise and Jax the dog (I'd go back just to see Jax again <3 ). The place is a little worn, but nothing beats the location. The road there was tons of fun and we loved it. The main house shares a drive with two other more rustic places to stay, so it's not quite as isolated as it appears in the ad. The master bedroom is actually in a separate building from the main house, through a covered courtyard. This worked fine for us and our teenagers, but could be a little bit of an issue if you had younger kids. Overall it was a great stay. Well "worth it" as his description said. Definitely worth it to rent the side-by-side and go to Chicken Corners.

Amazing place! Truly a slice of heaven. I'll admit it is a little challenging to get there, but worth the anxiety. Those who love 4-wheeling will love the ride. The flatlanders like me will find it a little crazy but road was grated and not nearly as bad as prior reviews made it sound. Coming out was easy. It was totally worth it. Great host. Felt right at home. Beautiful surroundings. We saw lots of wildlife and amazing stars. Enjoyed every minute!

Basecamp is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed at on or off Airbnb. Tom, along with Theresa and Thomas, are gracious hosts. They make sure each guest feels welcomed throughout the stay and are happy to offer suggestions of hikes, drives or just general exploration. I got the feeling that the road's condition varies throughout the year. As of a few weeks ago it was slow going if you are not an experienced off-road driver. (I am not.) It took me 90 minutes heading in (once during the day and once after dark) and 60 minutes leaving (both daylight). But my stock RAV4 with all season tires made it with no real issues. I kept it in 2nd gear and the AWD never kicked on. That said, I would happily return to stay at Tom's place again. It is 100% worth a frayed nerve or two for me. Next time I'll just drive in once and stay there the whole time. I could wander around the property and the adjoining BLM land for days and never get bored of looking at the views.

We loved this stay so much. It’s secluded, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The cave feels luxury, it’s a diamond in the middle of a desert basically. Stayed for 2 nights, we missed it as soon as we left.

We love this place so much we booked another night. Peaceful, stars, fire pit, side by side rental to the chicken corners, disc golf +hike. Would love to come back to this place in the future. Tom is really nice and we enjoyed talking to him and learning about his amazing property. Definitely a highlight of our trip staying here.
