Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

My girlfriend, our little dog and I were looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature and be far away from any city stress. If you’re looking for something similar, there’s no place better than Silvano‘s place! It has beautiful scenery, an amazing view, a rustic garden and a very nice house that feels welcoming!

Clean and tidy apartment, quiet and convenient area to get to Lecco and Bellagio, the host was available for some questions, there were 2 of us but 4 people can stay comfortably.

Federico is a very nice person, friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and clean. Everything you want is there. Location is great right in front of lake Como and lots of restaurants around I definitely recommend and for sure I will visit again. Thank you Federico

Michele’s Airbnb is truly exceptional! The photos are beautiful, but the apartment is even more stunning in person. We loved the peaceful setting away from the crowds—it was the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking views. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and was especially well-suited for my dad, who uses a wheelchair. We felt so comfortable and at home. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Como. It was hard to say goodbye!

The four days of six in the house were simply fantastic. We felt very comfortable every minute. The house and the garden with the pool are very lovingly and modernly furnished with regional accessories. There was nothing missing and the view of the lake is simply stunning. Monia always responded super quickly through the app and helped with all questions. Very nice and accommodating landlady who cares for the house with passion and prepares the guests. On Monia's recommendation, we spontaneously took part in the now annual Wine&Food tour of the small village of Montemezzo. Simply authentic, delicious and with many beautiful encounters. We had a serene, peaceful & wonderful time staying at Silvia’s place. We felt totally at home and we couldn’t get over how amazing the views were! The home is lovely and cosy and we enjoyed having breakfasts outside in the crisp mornings & lighting the fire in the evenings as we cosied up. Everything was clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils which made it easy for us to cook our own meals whilst we were there. The pool area is stunning and we enjoyed playing on the tennis table too. We loved seeing Silvia’s animals around the grounds including extremely friendly cats, dogs & even some tortoises! Silvia was extremely responsive and helpful and she was there to personally greet us as we drove toward the property. She gave us great local recommendations and was a very polite and sweet lady. The area itself is breathtakingly beautiful, we felt like we had the place to ourselves as we wandered the streets of gravedona. Would recommend!

Really comfortable space with beautiful scenery.

The Airbnb was in a very convenient location, near Varenna-Esino station and the ferries. The space itself was massive with two bedrooms and all the accommodations we needed. It was especially nice to have a washer, and drying rack in the patio. While most of the place was clean, the floor was just a bit dirty but nothing concerning. The bathroom also smelled like cigarettes, but we think it may from our neighbors because it would come and go. We did encounter a storm during the first night so our power went out, but no more than 20 minutes. The host was very responsive and had great restaurant recommendations. Overall, we loved the Airbnb stay.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

This was my favorite place we stayed while on a 2 week trip to Europe. The beauty of the surroundings along with the amazing views made this a wonderful stay for us. Additionally, the gesture of leaving us fruit and cookies was a very nice touch. We felt at home and safe the whole time.

Denise was very helpful and friendly when we had questions. We had a great stay at her place and would highly recommend.

Roberta’s home is AMAZING! It’s spacious, in a great location, and has the best view especially for sunset. We loved being right at the edge of city center and a quieter space to relax while being no more than 10 min walk to the furthest restaurant. Don’t forget to look at Roberta’s beautiful paintings around the house and stop at her shop down the road! We’ll certainly stay here again.

Better than the pictures! Absolutely beautiful. Hosts met us at the bus stop and walked us to the apartment. Breathtaking views and spotlessly clean. Bus stop and grocery store within 5 min. We felt right at home and loved our stay.

Fiona was a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to make our first trip to Lake Como just wonderful. She assisted with our travel plans, gave recs on local restaurants and walks. She stocked our fridge with eggs, milk , butter, bread , prosecco, etc which made this traveler really feel at home. The backyard pool was wonderful also. Home was very clean and comfortable and bigger then I expected.

We loved staying at Glenda’s home in Bellagio and wish we had a few more days there! Glenda provided extremely detailed instructions on how to get in which were very helpful. The place was exactly as described and the views out the balcony were incredible! It is on the hill so we were walking down and up hill a few times a day, which wasn’t a problem for our group and worth the views, except for when we arrived and had our luggage. We took a taxi from the ferry stop but at the time of our arrival there were not a ton of available taxis and had to wait around 20 minutes for one.

Villa Maria Laura exceeded every expectation. The beauty of the property and the views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains is breathtaking! The villa is serene and very private, but also a short walk into Lierna with great restaurants, Riva Bianca beach and boat rentals (a must do!). Also a short drive to Varenna. This thing this Villa has that others do not is Giulia, the sweetest, most amazing host! She is a wonderful communicator, extremely helpful setting up reservations, boat rentals, taxis into Varenna. I cannot say enough. Just book Villa Maria Laura. Don’t wait. You will not regret it. Ciao!

We rented Mattia's apartment because of the location, description/pictures and the reviews and everything was spot-on! Mattia is the most thoughtful and helpful host that we've had and we agree 100% with the previous reviews complimenting him. He is communicative, gracious and thoughtful. The apartment was true to pictures, with incredible views and was spacious to spread out. Very peaceful and quiet in this town. It is in a small town with limited walking amenities but it provides a great base of operations for visiting the Lake Como area (we had a rental car). The apartment had all major amenities and then some, with a few thoughtful additions to make the stay extra special!
