Monthly Rentals in McDonald Observatory

We enjoyed Jennifer’s Treehouse! The porch was sizable. We enjoyed an amazing night of stargazing. The room was well appointed. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. Restaurants were about two minutes away. I could not imagine staying in a different location for future visits to Fort Davis.

MOST IMPORTANT - The Wildlife! There is a huge pack of non-native rams that roam freely but at a good distance from the property. There are deer, boar, hummingbirds, and a host of other wildlife in the area. Nothing disturbed us and we felt 100% safe. Deanna’s place is perfectly located for ppl that want to experience many areas of west Texas. We took a day trip to Big Bend, spent a day in Marfa and Valentine, we drove up to Monahans State Park, PLUS Fort Davis and McDonald Observatory were only a few minutes away. Or you can hike on the property, which we didn’t get to do this time. Deanna greeted us upon arrival, and was very helpful with giving us tips about the local community. The space was clean and comfortable. Would love to come back again.

The Paradise Mountain Villa is everything we expected and more. Plenty of amenities to keep us busy during our stay. The home and property is beautiful! The wife and myself love traveling to the Fort Davis mountains. To find a place this high up and secluded helped us check off a box on our “Little adventures List”. The Villa is super clean and modern, gives you all the comforts of home and more. The fire pit and back patio offer amazing views, especially during sunsets! Fully stocked kitchen was a plus as well. The air at this elevation was crisp and refreshing even more so during a quick rain storm in the early morning. Enjoyed seeing wildlife as we drove up and down the mountain coming to and from nearby towns. We will definitely plan to book another stay at the Villa.

Had a wonderful stay at this cozy little home. I must stay this is definitely one if my favorites now. I will certainly try to book again during my next visit. Easy check in, everything was nice, clean and so comfortable.
