Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lancaster County

We liked Charlie’s spot so much we came back again this year! Family loves the space, outdoor water sports, and crabbing off the dock (which has been nicely upgraded). I recommend paddling out to the recommended sandbars. Great views, peaceful, and a nice mix of outdoor activity without having to drive anywhere. Highly recommended and we’ll likely be back.

The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

Kristie’s place was great; felt very clean and comfortable. We loved that she provided a basket of local info and menus. We also enjoyed the waterfront view and using the provided kayaks in the cove. The patio furniture was very comfy, clean, and relaxing. Loved seeing the deer visit us most days. Kristie’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end with clear and easy instructions. Highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at Blue Pearl Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. Ben and Ashley thought of every detail how to meet guests' needs. The location is superb - peaceful and serene. LOVE the screened porch, as did our pooch - a perfect spot for him to hang out! Only wish we had more time there... hope to visit again.

Had a great time at this house! It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. I stay in a lot of air bnbs and I think this might be the most well stocked kitchen of any I’ve seen! Not just appliances and utensils but also spices, cleaning products etc! We also loved the backyard. It was an awesome spot for our dog and toddler to run around but also for the adults to relax. The front porch fire pit was also awesome! The location was great and could easily walk to the Tides inn or into town. Would definitely return!

To start, the house and property was beautiful. The private doc, water toys and yard games were great and made the weekend very fun. The location was very remote and quiet and gave off glamping vibes. Easy check in and no crazy asks for check out instructions. Make sure you bring bug spray, and also note there is an extra $500 “hold” after booking on top of normal fees.

We were really surprised to see such a beautiful view and a very private large lot. The pictures do not do the space justice.The house is large too and easily sleeps 8 comfortably. The kitchen held everything we needed to cook a meal for eight. We were visiting in October so we didn’t have the opportunity to access the pool but know it is a great addition to the property.

First I think Donna 100% underrated the place. My Grandson loved all the animals that are free to see and pet. She evens provides feed for the animals. The Pool was nice and private and clean. The loft was clean and stocked with everything you will need for a stay. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had enough utensils for all. She undersold the grilling. Had a large gas grill with a flat grill attached. Charcoal grill and a gas smoker by pool. You have a private entrance from the garage and she has plenty of tools for a quick fix. Donna was great and every time see saw you she checked to make sure everything was ok. She even put snacks and drinks in fridge for us. She even paid attention that we had a child and got juice for him. DoorDash does deliver to house if you don’t feel like cooking.Patriot Grill and Sweet Tooth was our favorite. Wish I got a flight of beers at the Brewery because the one I got was just ok. Donna does adopt animals so we got so vegetable

Always a pleasure staying at Maddie‘s place. We’ve stayed here twice can’t wait for our next visit already. Very nice friendly quiet neighborhood.

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. Cupboards were stocked. The view of the river is gorgeous. Brian responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

My husband, lab, and I had another wonderful visit at Thomas's place, which now feels like a home away from home. Our lab got to spend time with his puppy who is well-trained and adorable! The garden, greenery, view, and location are beautiful. We so appreciate Thomas's company and all the things he does to make our stay so relaxing, peaceful, and fun!

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. The location, the accommodations, and the ‘residents’ of Grateful Meadows were absolutely magical. We really enjoyed our time there, and are extremely thankful we found it. Such a great experience, thank you!

We had so much at Anne and Neil’s place. It was more beautiful in person than in the photos. The furniture and antiques were so beautifully appointed. We had lots of fun as a family enjoying their pool, searching for shark teeth and shells on their beach, and getting on the water in their boats. Lots of fun. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Memorial Day weekend get away to visit with friends in Kinsale.

House was fabulous! It looks even better than the pictures! Everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It was a girls weekend birthday celebration for 5 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved that each one of us had our own bedroom/bathroom. The view is spectacular. Host very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return next year!!

What a perfect cottage! Beautifully (but comfortably) furnished, right on the water, incredibly well-stocked. Arranged so families can spread out, or gather together. Everything you could possibly require or desire for a vacation or getaway was there. And the area is full of things to do--walks, birdwatching, antiquing, or, if you're an architecture geek like me, historic sites and buildings. You're also a 3-minute walk from the best restaurant on the Northern Neck, Merroir Tasting Room. Can't wait to come back.

The cottage was as described and then some! The pictures showed a good sample of the property. The host was very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. There was a binder inside with recommendations for sights and places to see. We were able to enjoy the sunset off the pier while swimming in the water. The natural beauty and tranquility of the land made the stay so worthwhile.

Wayne was a awesome host and Our stay was great very peaceful and relaxing. We were able to catch a lot of fish off the dock, as well as seeing Deers the house is cozy and as always enjoy our time there.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The home was extremely well- equipped and very comfortable. The property is very private, and the grounds are beautiful. We had our dog with us, and we all enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The kitchen has everything you could think of, the beds were comfortable, and the master suite with screen porch was a wonderful place for morning coffee. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the water and nature this is it. The house had a spacious living room and dining room and the kitchen was fully loaded. We loved having morning coffee on the back deck and an evening glass of wine on the screened in front porch. Enjoyed seeing all the herons on the water. Kilmarnock was only minutes away for shopping and dining. Overall great weekend.

This was our third stay at this wonderful property, and it just keeps getting better and better! Our family had an amazing time once again and made so many new memories together. We especially love spending time fishing on the dock and kayaking—it’s the perfect way to relax and reconnect with nature. The home is always clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, making it easy to settle in and enjoy. We’re so grateful to have found this special place and can’t wait to come back again!
