Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Hopatcong, Jefferson

This was one of the most beautiful houses that I’ve had the pleasure of staying at! The location right on the lake is more than you could ask for alone. My friends and I made some great memories around the fire pit and on the dock swaying on the lake with lots of laughs and just good vibes. I would love to come back in a heartbeat!

Kasia was an excellent host and her house was beautiful! The view of the lake was absolutely stunning in winter, as it would be regardless of the season. The kitchen was well equipped, accommodating multiple cooks at once, and everything was spotless - we found we could even use a cup without rinsing because there wasn't even a speck of dust on anything! On top of all this, Kasia was friendly and always quick to respond, and even answered right away when we called with a question. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean and nice place. Really enjoyed hosting my family here, relatively 20 minutes from major shopping areas. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time with the family at Teresa’s beautiful location. The kids had an amazing time in the home and we were all able to enjoy a wonderful weekend. Teresa was absolutely accomadating and helpful with anything asked. She was quick to answer and helped with any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone with a big family. The House was bigger and nicer than I initially thought. Everyone had a clean and comfortable bed and the entire house was clean when we arrived. No shortage of entertainment. Many tvs, speakers and the pool table and ski ball provided fun and a boost to everything. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay at this location again!

We loved the house, it wasn’t the best time to go in the end of December, all rainy and foggy but anyway the view was amazing. About 30 mins drive to Camelback snow tubing what we just loved! Entire house very clean! However towels and a living room blanket seem like were used much more than supposed to, probably because of the color. Would love curtains in the master bedroom and bathroom, seems like someone is looking at you from outside 😃 Only one TV for the entire house. Everything else was great

Alice is a great host, and her place was absolutely what we were looking for. Beautiful views of the lake, that presented us with an exquisite sunset. The place was cozy, clean, very peaceful, and it met all of our expectations. We look forward to returning during a different time of the year.

We loved our stay at Janice’s lakehouse! The apartment was super homey — we honestly wished we had booked more than just one night. It was simple, clean, and even had some snacks waiting for us, which we really appreciated after our long drive. The patio overlooking the lake was the perfect spot to kick back, order some Doordash, and just relax. Janice was super responsive and made everything really easy. Would definitely come back!

Our second time staying here at this clean quiet and comfortable air bnb. Its clear from all the little touches present there that the hosts prioritize the comfort of their guests. This air bnb is close to town and is walkable distance to many restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

My stay was amazing! Easy check in and check out. Everything was clean and the place had a lot of basics one would need. Overall had a great experience and would stay here again if I come back to the area.

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Loved this place. Came here to get away and relax for the weekend with my partner and it was amazing. The place is so cute and feels so homey. I love small spaces and the set up of this tiny home is just perfect.

This was my husband & I's first Airbnb experience, and absolutely glad we chose this cottage for our first wedding anniversary weekend getaway! I booked the trip very last minute and the responsiveness was very quick and we were accommodated the next early morning, I was wowed by how quick it was. The instructions were very clear with check in/out, house rules, using amenities including the boat, fire pit and overall organization of all the information, loved how everything was laid out. We also got a recommendation of restaurants and experiences in the local area with description of each when we arrived in a binder. As soon as we walked in, the coffee & candy was on table with a little welcome note. WE WERE IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE! Cleanliness is 10/10 with all beds made, towels sectioned, awesome shower with sitting area, and OMG the level of spices/cooking supplies available was just perfect for making the perfect meal. This cottage by the lake was everything i was looking for!!!

Chateau René is the perfect peaceful escape. The home cozy and well maintained - exactly as pictured. The view made every morning feel like a dream. René was so warm, responsive, and accommodating. He shared great local recommendations and clear instructions for the house, which made settling in a breeze. The most special part of my stay was getting engaged here! René secretly coordinated with my now-fiancé and friend to make it all happen. His excitement and willingness to help meant a lot to us. Overall, 10/10 stay. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem! This spot has a ton of character and the hosts are awesome! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful as well, with plenty to do for the outdoorsy type and cute shops and great restaurants within minutes. would highly recommend and hope to find time for a return trip!

Our two-night stay was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the directions provided were clear and precise. The location was well-described, highlighting all the amenities available. The backyard was spacious and inviting, while the hot tub was a great addition for relaxation.

The Forest Cottage, hosted by Stella, provided an excellent escape for our family. Although the weather wasn't the best during our stay, we made time to fish, ride paddle boats, greet animals, and make s'mores by a fire pit, all on the property. We even managed to cook a meal and gather around the indoor fireplace with a movie on a cold, rainy evening. The cottage was the perfect size for our party: Three adults, two kids, and a dog. The bedrooms were comfortable, and there was space to stretch out. The area is beautiful and fun to explore from PA to NY to NJ and back within a 30-minute drive. We would love to get back and explore more in more inviting weather. We appreciate Stella's communication and allowing us to stay at her property, which is full of amenities.
