This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
A spacious, well-equipped 4-bed home for families and groups. Sleeps 6–8, offers off-street parking, a private garden and is set in a quiet residential area within walking distance of beautiful Southbourne Beach.

The flat is minutes away from an independent high street with cafes, bars and convenience stores.

It is a fantastic location for beach, forest and close to train station. The flat is wonderful in the summer and very cosy for a winter retreat or the perfect place to work remotely.

The space
A calm, comfortable seaside base. If you’re looking for a spacious, well-equipped home where everyone can relax, sleep well, and enjoy Southbourne at an unhurried pace, this house makes an excellent base for your stay.

3/4 bedroom flat is on the upper two floors of a detached house.

A short walk to the vibrant Southbourne high street (supermarket, coffee shops) and the beautiful beach. There is a fenced garden.

Free off-street parking — no permits or beach parking stress.

It’s a short walk to the beach, through a lovely park on Fisherman’s Walk. There is a zig zig walk down to the beach or a cliff lift in operation for those who need it.

The flat sleeps up to 2 adults and 4 children (or 4 adults and 2 children due to bunk beds). Extra guests can be accommodated if needed for additional fee. There is the option to have access to the loft ensuite room which normally remains locked. Cost to have the space and option for x2 extra guests is £30 per night. Please send a message for more details if you would like this extra space.

It is geared up for all types of visitor but in particular, families with children.

If you are on holiday with children, there are plenty of games and toys at the flat to keep them amused.

It would also be perfect for artists, digital nomads, professionals who are able to work from anywhere.

The flat’s location means it is easy to spend some time at the beach and then come home before walking to a local restaurant.

There is a large living room at the front of the home, followed by a double bedroom and then x2 bedrooms with bunk beds. There are plenty of toys, games and books for children to use.

There are regular trains from Pokesdown station (5 minutes walk away) to the New Forest or even into Clapham Junction or Waterloo in London. It is approximately 2 hours on a direct train from Pokesdown station to Clapham Junction station.

Southbourne is a relaxed but still buzzing suburb, 5 minutes drive from Christchurch and 15 minutes drive to the New Forest. Southbourne’s main attraction is the Blue Flag beach.

Southbourne is an amazing place to live and to holiday. Southbourne Grove has an array of independent shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a nice little community and it is great for local amenities with lots of outdoorsy things to do, plus access to cycling in the New Forest.

Hengistbury Head Nature reserve, with stunning views over Christchurch Harbour, Mudeford and the Isle of Wight is just a 5 minute drive along the coast road.

You also have Stanpit Nature Reserve, Mudeford Quay, many of Dorset and Hampshire’s best beaches, harbour towns and the New Forest National Park.

Dorset and the surrounding area offers natural beauty providing some of the most stunning scenery in the country. There are rolling hills, a rugged coastline, a lush forest and amazing golden, sandy beaches. Everywhere is easily accessible by foot, cycle, train or car.
