Open, spacious and private

There are 2 living spaces and 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The third bedroom has separate outside entrance and also has another entrance into the main house as well. There is also a sofa bed. There is a nice covered patio with a grill. Very spacious dining room with huge table open to TV room for large gatherings. Kitchen opens up to the living room and living room can open up to the dining/TV room. Every room has ceiling fan and mosts all rooms have TV. Covered parking for one vehicle.

Come stay in this historic Fort Clark Springs vacation home! Located front and center of this gated historical community, you are able to walk to the Fort's museum, down to swim in one of the top ten spring fed pools in Texas, or just take a stroll around all the historic buildings and homes. There is also an 18 hole golf course, and you are welcome to bring your golf cart as transportation around the Fort. We recommend an evening ride to enjoy all the wildlife the Fort has to offers.

This condo is one of the original buildings in Unit 1 (also called Spanish village) of Fort Clark springs. Very clean and comfortable. Enclosed courtyard. Easy walk to trails. 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to The 3rd largest spring fed pool in Texas. 68 degrees!! Will keep your cool in the summer! Great area for birdwatching. Day trips to Langtry, Seminole canyon, Frio river, Del Rio/cuidad acuna, Uvalde/Eagle pass/piedras negras. NEW! I now HAVE WIFI!

I did a bit of tele-work in the day stayed here to sleep at night, but it was exactly as listed and a comfortable experience overall. The place has a lot of character. Back in the mid-1800s, it used to house doctors, and it's been preserved well, so you really get a sense of the history. The host was very nice and responded quickly to any questions. Quiet, clean, and unique, great for a peaceful stay.

We had such a wonderful time with our family at the house. It was so spacious and cozy. We loved exploring the Fort and Kickapoo Cavern State Park. Brittany was a great host and answered any questions I had. Would definitely recommend staying here!
