Cristina was very welcoming, available and friendly. I recommend it without a problem! The accommodation is clean and spacious, with all the necessary equipment, in a very cute area of the city.

Beautiful comfortable and authentic house, beautifully renovated, where it is cool even in high heat. The view of the rooms is splendid. Géraldine is very welcoming. Stresa is a 10-minute walk away, a little more on the way back because the slope is steep but it's a pleasure to be able to do everything without a car. We had an excellent week and we will be back for sure!

Very nice and clean apartment in a small village 10 minutes from Stresa. You have to be aware that the church bells ring at 7 a.m. in the morning, but that didn't bother us. Nice local restaurant 100 m away. And we were always able to park in the village square, 100 m away too. We also enjoyed the garden. Giulia is very responsive when asked a question. Recommended for anyone who wants to visit the Lake Maggiore region with their car while being quieter than in town. And without parking worries.

We felt very comfortable in Casa Ilda and can recommend this to all guests. We were personally received by Giorgio, who took the time to explain everything in the house and gave us many tips for staying in Orta San Giulio. We enjoyed the time very much and were not disappointed! Thank you Barbara

Great spot near the lake!

We had a pleasant stay at Catalda's. The view from the terrace of the lake is stunning. The location is extremely quiet, in a small village of artists with crazy charm. Many walks accessible from the house. Access to the house is on foot via a small path that climbs. So it can be complicated for older or less able-bodied people. The closest town, Cannobio, charming and lively, is quickly accessible by car. Catalda is responsive and available. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality!

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

We were received very kindly by Paola. The apartment is incredibly well equipped and also very nice. But the best part is this huge covered patio. On the first day it rained in streams from morning to night. We sat outside all day, which was so cozy. The area is incredibly green and was perfect for us as dog owners to walk. There is a very nice waterfall nearby and two houses further an excellent restaurant. There you will primarily meet the locals. We love something like this. I thought the prices were printing errors. The pizzas all cost between 7 and 8 euros, so almost nothing. Those who want to travel here with dogs or children are in good hands. In front of the house is directly the small park, with basketball court, football field, and playground. It is actively used by the children, but not disturbing at all. Everyone is super friendly and very animal-loving. We will be happy to come back.😄

The accommodation is very nice, is in a quiet location and is easily accessible by bus. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. Roberto responds quickly to messages. We felt very comfortable there.

We enjoyed our stay at Elena's place. Due to their warm and open manner, we immediately felt at home or with friends. The apartment is very nice and child-friendly, ideal for our 1-year-old child. Elena was very easy to reach and was also able to give us valuable tips for things to do in the nearby area. We highly recommend the place, especially for families with small children.

We had a wonderful holiday. We were greeted in a friendly manner by Sara and she was always available to us in a timely manner. The view from our balcony was fantastic. The furnishings of the apartment left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend overall.

We had a great stay in the centrally located apartment in Ascona. The place is exactly as described, is very clean. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful city and surrounding area. Communication was extremely quick and straightforward. We would definitely come back!

We were in Marco's apartment for the second time. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful garden in the most beautiful weather. Marco is a great host, the apartment is very well equipped and sparkling clean. We will be back.

This was an absolutely stunning spot. Centrally located, amazing views, and reasonably priced. It looked exactly like the pictures! The apartment was great - had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The deck overlooking the mountains and Lake Lugano is spectacular. I recommend this 100%. If you are coming to Lake Lugano, this is a great spot. I miss it already!

We are delighted with our stay at Alessandro's. The apartment is impeccable, very comfortable, very clean and very well arranged. The lake view (across the road) is absolutely beautiful. Alessandro is very responsive and responded to any requests we had. We'll be happy to go back.

Breathtaking views and responsive host via Whats4pp with great English. Clean apartment with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. An authentic town with minimal tourist impact, perfect for a peaceful get away. Highly recommend checking out the smaller cheap takeaway places locally as they were delicious. Alternatively, we had a hire car which meant we could easily pop to Lidl and utilise the kitchen, fit with a dishwasher. Very pleased, we intend to return in the hotter months so we can enjoy the pool too!
