The Watermelon Sugar House was a dream! The owners were incredibly communicative and helpful from booking to check-out. Their prompt and friendly responses made everything so easy. Beyond the excellent communication, the house offered a truly peaceful escape. I loved quite morning and peaceful nights. It was the perfect place to relax. Highly recommend for a tranquil stay with wonderful hosts!

Jenn’s home is absolutely stunning! The beautiful house is complemented by an incredible pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing. The grill by the pool was a great touch for outdoor meals. The night skies were breathtaking, and the quiet surroundings made it an ideal spot to unwind and hang out. Jenna was very attentive, responsive, and super nice, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this amazing retreat!

I stayed at this property with my partner, we wanted something quiet and peaceful, away from the city. Getting to the property was not a problem, I have a small city car and although it was a dirt road, nothing crazy happened, pretty smooth ride. The house looks as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for cooking, entertainment and relaxing. Hot tub was a great addition for chill evenings. Bed was comfy and generally the house was clean and organized. keep in mind that the place is in the middle of the desert, so don't freak out if coyotes casually stroll by, or you see funky desert bugs trying to get inside 😉 The biggest tip would be to bring food with you since the closest big store is 30mins away. All together, would stay here again.

Such a cool spot to stay in: you can’t be bored! The wind killed some of our activities though, but we still had a great time hanging out inside. Hosts are so incredibly friendly and amazing!!

Better than the pictures! Everything was perfectly clean and organized with all the necessities provided. You can’t beat being able to relax in the hot tub while looking up at the stars.

Loved it here!!! Came for a quick little get away for my anniversary and it was perfect. Very quiet, secluded, but not to far from “the city”. The house itself was very spacious, clean, and our favorite part was the ac, which kept the house very cold.

she was very understanding and when I told her we didn't have a spatula and no sugar she brought it within 20 minutes and I really appreciated it also check-in was amazing it was easy to get to easy to get in very clean which is awesome post and even a check out I wasn't out at exactly 11:00 and she understood because we had to take trips to my mom's so very understanding host and amazing place I would totally recommend her everyday

This was our second stay, and certainly won’t be our last! My partner and I were able to make a weekend getaway out of a Pappy & Harriet’s concert, and this is the perfect place to stay; great location, quiet, comfortable, and well decorated. Visited palm desert to attend a family gathering, and while I wasn’t planning on spending any time other than coming to sleep. This place was so relaxing and well equipped that I ended up finding myself not wanting to leave. I would highly recommend it for a small getaway.

Great place for our stay while in Desert Hot Springs/Palm Springs for a short vacation! Very clean and had everything we needed.

Audrey was so friendly throughout our stay, and her home felt so cozy. I absolutely love that her place had so much personality. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderful week stay! Location is perfect to get into the park and town of Joshua Tree as well as an easy drive to 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Pioneer Town. The house was large (big dining/living room/master bed) with comfortable beds and great linens. Kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals at home. We had a few issues with fans/ac, but the hosts were very responsive. Cowboy tub wasn't up and running, so you may want to message host to see if it's back if you are looking forward to it. There is an outdoor table for 4 and a few other outdoor chairs as well. We especially loved sitting in the back yard, which is very private and large, among many beautiful desert plants, animals (lots of birds, rabbits, and lizards!), and stars!

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

A beautiful and tranquil place right in the desert. Host was very helpful with directions and recommendations and always reachable when I needed anything. Can recommend!

John’s place is the best place to stay in if your skiing snow summit or bear mountain. It is very nice and comfortable. He always communicates well and leaves recommendations for rentals and restaurants. We will continue staying here throughout the years!

We really enjoy staying in this cabin. There is just the knife is kind of dull, it would be better sharpener to cut food.

Had to change from a different reservation last minute and Nancy was more than accommodating! Place was clean and comfortable. Kids had a blast playing uno and foozball…. They didn’t want to leave! Bathrooms even had fancy toilet paper bows and the toilets had the paper wrappers to show they were clean like a hotel. Would stay again!

The place was better than expected. The Livingroom was spacious and comfortable and with a Pacman arcade game! The sleeping was comfortable too. Also, was happy to see the jacuzzi was working well and fun sledding area for the kids out back.

Great for condo for family of four. Great kitchen for easy meal prep. Enjoyed the short distance to the mountain. We Would pick again for future winter trips.

We stayed here for the Spartan race weekend. The location was ideal for the race, the unit is clean and cozy, and has all necessary amenities. The hosts communicated clearly and were easy to reach if needed. We would stay here again!
