▪️BEDROOM (Queen bed): Designed with romantic + airy + rustic tones the main a bedroom hosts a cozy queen bed with a raised ceiling, television with chrome cast streaming option, reading wall lights, ceiling fan, blackout bamboo shades, and a desk overlooking a large picture window with a view of the lake, perfect for working remotely. It truly brings the outside in. *We wash all duvet covers and quilts after every guest so that you can enjoy all linens with confidence of cleanliness.
▪️LOFT (Queen bed): The loft is reached by a stair ladder and hosts a queen bed, reading wall lamps, and a picture window provides a view of the lake. *The loft has a low clearance so keeping your head down and entering on hands and knees is required by most. Caution should be taken with children using the stair ladder, ages 6+ recommended.
▪️BUNK NOOK (twin bunk beds): The bunk nook is located across from the bathroom in the hallway between the kitchen and master bedroom. The nook can be closed off with sliding doors and are equipped with blackout shades and reading night lights. It is recommended that top bunk be used by ages 6+.
▪️LIVING ROOM (pull out sofa): This inviting space with two couches offers a large picture window with a breathtaking view of the lake. The gray sofa provides a queen sleeper sofa pull out option. There is a 55 inch television with the option to stream your favorite apps. Board games are also available, perfect for enjoying time with friends or family.
▪️KITCHEN: (full kitchen) The perfect place to gather with friends or family over a meal. It might be a tiny cabin but this kitchen boasts with plenty of space to cook your favorite meals. Sit at the two person table and enjoy your coffee for the morning. This space has an island with seating for 3-4, small table for two, gas stove, dishwasher, large stainless steel sink, microwave, keurig, pour over coffee maker, French press, toaster, pots and pans, baking sheet, glass casserole dish, mini blender, mixing bowls, cutting board, knives, silverware, glass ware, coffee mugs, refrigerator with freezer, Zerowater filter, cooking utensils, grilling utensils, and crockpot. There is also a stacked washer and dryer available for your use.
▪️BATHROOM: The bathroom provides a soaking tub and shower combo equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
▪️OUTSIDE: (Dock is on private lake. Two kayaks, 1 stand up paddle board, 1 canoe, gas fire pit, black stone grill, and picnic table are outdoor amenities.)
The front porch features four oversized rocking chairs—perfect for relaxing beside the modern gas fire pit. We’ve also added a five-person hot tub, offering an epic view of the lake right from the porch. The gazebo overlooks the water and includes a spacious round table that seats six, plus a Blackstone grill ideal for cooking smash burgers, or even breakfast favorites like bacon, eggs, and pancakes.
Down the stairway path the private dock is located perfect for lounging where chairs and fishing poles are provided. This is a great place for swimming. Two large ten foot kayaks and a ten foot stand up paddle board are provided along with life jackets, two adult, two children, and two infant/toddler. Guests use these at their own risk.
Guest access
Rental provides access to private dock, two kayaks, stand up paddle board, canoe, two fishing poles, two adult life jackets, and four child life jackets. All guests swim, use canoe, kayaks and stand up paddle at their own risk.
Only resident’s boats are allowed on the private lake. Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee boat ramps are both within 15 minutes of the cabin. The cabin has 2 driveways with room for boat parking.
Fishing does not require a license and the lake is stocked yearly; catch and release only. Life jackets are required for kayakers, canoeing, and paddle board use. By booking the cabin, guests agree to use kayaks and paddle board at their own risk and swim at their own risk.
Guests do not have access to the utility shed.
Other things to note
Our property requires walking up hills and stairs.
Diving is not recommended at the dock as it is shallow. Kayakers, boaters, and paddle boarders are asked to wear a life jacket and use of equipment and lake is at your own risk. There is no life guard on duty you and your guests swim at your own risk.
Communication: We welcome you to reach out with any questions or needs during your stay. We prefer to communicate through the app. It is our pleasure to host you!
We professionally treat the property for pests; however we are located in the woods and do not offer refunds if a bug is found in or around the property.
While we have a Wi-Fi system setup in our cabin, we are in a rural area where the internet can be spotty. Cell coverage can also be spotty.
Please put away kayaks, paddle board, canoe, life jackets and fishing poles and lock when not in use, thank you!

Lake Safety:
- Diving is not recommended from the dock.
- You and your guests also swim, paddle board, canoe, and kayak with caution and at your own risk.
- It is recommended that shoes be worn on the dock and decks.
- Life jackets are provided for your use, please wear while boating and they are recommended while swimming.
Hot tub rules and safety:
- Children under 6 are not permitted.
- Children 6-18 must be supervised at all times.
- Shower before use.
- Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or have health concerns.
- Do not use hot tub if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No glass in and around the hot tub.
- After use please put on the cover and ensure latches are securely fastened.
- Limit hot tub session to 30-45 minutes.
- Use the hot tub at your own risk. We are not liable for any accidents or injuries. Please use responsibly.
Please note that bunks and lofts can be dangerous for children, use at your own risk. We advise ages six and over to use top bunks and loft area.
