Upward Treehouse is a beautiful & luxurious treetop retreat! A ground level covered patio provides a comfortable eating area. The second level is an open air deck complete with a sitting area and a flat top gas grill. The third level is the entry level to the family room with 2 full sized sleeper couches, TV & Blueray. Also a full sized kitchen, half bath, wrap around deck with more outdoor seating and outdoor shower.

The space
Across the breezeway is the Primary bed/bathroom, wrap around deck, outdoor shower, washer & dryer, TV & Blueray player.Take the spiral stairs up to the fourth level to access a full bathroom, the bunk bed tower room and the loft bedroom. The fifth floor hosts a spectacular 360 degree view from the lookout tower. Out back is a large fire pit surrounded by benches.

Guest access
The entire 8 acre forrest is yours to enjoy. Please hike down to the fresh water spring and cree!

Note: Our treehouse is in a tree, in a forest, in the piney woods of East Texas and as a result there may be bugs! We are very diligent about keeping it clean and regularly spray for bugs. But we cannot guarantee an insect-free experience. Thanks for your understanding. Welcome to the country! :)

Neighborhood highlights

We are about 2 miles north of the I-20 express way, halfway between Lindale and Van, Texas, which is half way between Dallas, TX and Shreveport, LA. Lindale, TX is the bigger city, with a Walmart and a good selection of restaurants and fast food. Van, TX is a bit smaller but also has a local grocery store and an assortment of restaurants and fast food. We are also 30 minutes away from all you may need in Tyler, TX. And 20 minutes from First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX. Please see Jason & Liz's GuideBook for some local recommendations! If you enjoy cooking you can also have groceries delivered!

We live out in the country on a private dead end road with a 20 mph speed limit that we ask you to please regard. The private road is great for walking or biking. Most of my neighbors have some combination of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and chickens. Upward Treehouse and Moon Honey Treehouse are located on a 8 acre forest to share, enjoy, and explore. There is a walking trail complete with a spring fed creek. Please do not go near the neighboring treehouse, respecting each others privacy.
