But some people, like MY friends and family, let loose with the Middle Finger!
Spending time with them is the BEST. There's funny and embarrassing stories. Shared secrets. Brutal yet necessary insights.
But eventually someone crosses the line a tad. How to respond? With a friendly Middle Finger!
I love that atmosphere of closeness, familiarity and reverie. With people who KNOW you. I decorated this listing to encourage that sort of social interaction.
I am the second owner of this 1960 authentic mid-century modern, which was designed by the architect-owner. Extensive modernization of the electrical, networking, and lighting ensures that you have a comfortable stay. I restored all of this home's original features, including the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom tile.
The main level features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plus kitchen, dining and living room.
Downstairs is a totally renovated finished basement. It is a legal bedroom (hence the 4th bedroom) doubling as a TV/bar room, with a full bathroom and laundry room. It has a king-sized American Leather sofa sleeper that sleeps 2. This is the best sleeper sofa available, featuring a Tempu-Pedic mattress.
Parents visiting their kids can take a break from student life and enjoy time to themselves. The city's best bar/restaurant is a 3 minute drive away. Or use the chef's kitchen and entertain in this statement listing!

A great way to set the tone for a precious weekend together, with fun memories of years past. Just contact me in advance, and I’ll grant you access to the Meural so you can upload your own playlists.

There is an electronic keypad deadbolt. I will send you your code before your stay so that you can access the house.
Other things to note
After your reservation is confirmed, I require that every adult in your group create and link their verified Airbnb profile to the reservation. I require this to protect you and me. Sometimes the "friends" of the booking guest do not respect the property when they know they are not part of this transaction.
Please be respectful of your noise level during quiet hours (10pm to 8am). My neighbors live here full time and I work hard to maintain good relationships with them.
The good news is that you can have as much fun as you want without worrying if you're disturbing the neighbors. My house is equipped with NoiseAware which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so we can give you a heads up. Rest assured that NoiseAware does not record content, it only measures noise levels so your privacy is 100% guaranteed.
Similarly, there are security cameras covering all of the entrances to the house, but none inside. Your privacy in the private spaces is completely respected.

I provide pro bono over 100 hours/year of my services representing the elderly and the homeless in wrongful eviction and affordable housing cases.
