The space
Set in the Sonoma County wine country backroads, located a short distance from downtown Sebastopol. Perched atop a hill at the end of a private residential lane, on a small family homestead. The steel framed double container home, is a destination in and of itself.
Blurring the boundaries between inside and out by harnessing the spirit of a quintessential California Modern escape. Luna Luna House embodies the essence of architecture, originality, and mindful simplicity, all in one. Built in Alberta, Canada, shipped to the United States, and craned into its current location in Sonoma County, California. Two containers shipped separately and welded together, on site, creating the ideal California retreat. Inspired by an intentional style of living and designed to cultivate the passions of creatives, nature lovers, wellness enthusiasts, and everyone in between.
Whether it is a romantic getaway, digital detox, decompression weekend, or a wine tasting excursion. Designed as an intuitive progressive architectural home with country living in mind, our hope is that you enjoy being surrounded by nature!

Experience the sights and sounds of our loving wildlife...deer, foxes, lizards, wild turkeys, woodpeckers, owls, all sorts of birds, distant coyotes, and our elusive resident bobcat. Feel free to pick from the surrounding fruit trees, berry bushes and herbs, when in season!
You'll get a unique lock keycode to check yourself in, and you can check-in anytime after 3:00pm. We suggest that you do not arrive after sunset, as it is difficult to navigate the country roads in the dark! Please drive slow down the lane (10 mph). Check-out is at 11:00am.

Other things to note
[1.] Guest reviews prior 2022 are representative of the previous accommodation, The Rising Moon Yurt.
[2.] Don't forget to stop in town to pick up groceries before arriving :)
[3.] Please advise us of any damage upon arrival. You will be held responsible and charged accordingly, for any damage, or surrounding property, other then regular wear and tear.
[4.] We are on a septic system. Please DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
[5.] No professional photoshoots without written approval and the payment of additional fees. This includes sponsored posts both in kind and/or paid.
[6.] Special events or parties are not permitted without written approval and the payment of additional fees.
[7.] No pets. We love animals, but we are a pet-free accommodation.
[8.] Smoking is prohibited. No smoking, candles, incense, fireworks, sparklers, drones, inside or outside the house, or anywhere on the property.
[9.] No extra guests. You may not exceed the number of guests stated on your reservation confirmation at any time without prior approval.
