Welcome to Brandal. The house is located at the top of the village, overlooking the fjord. Access to the garden and the whole house for yourself.

In Brandal city center you will find the museum Aarvak (Polar Museum). There is also a beach and a nice starting point for fishing and mountain trips.

Hareid city center is 6 km from the house, with shops, 16 km to Ulsteinvik. Ålesund and Runde are also within a reasonable distance.

The space
As a guest with us, you have access to the house both inside and outside, and parking by the house in the summer season.

You can also find Leitehuset on SoMe @leitehuset / Leitehuset, with some pictures from the house and the surrounding area.

On fine weather days you can see the sunrise from the living room window if you are a morning person, and behind the house graze the forest's own livestock, the deer. At Kvitneset, a walk of about 3 km you can see the sun go down in the sea in the evening or experience historical bunkers from the 2nd World War.

In Brandal city center, 1 km from the house, you will find a beach and there are also good fishing opportunities both in the city center and in the surrounding area.

You have the entire house and garden at your disposal as our guest.

The house has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and hallway (with sofa bed) in the main floor and two bedrooms in the attic.

From the sofa you have panoramic views of the village and Storfjorden (with cruise boats passing on their way to Geiranger).

In the bathroom you will find both a shower and a bathtub, as well as a washing machine that you can use freely.

Bedroom 1 has a narrow double bed of 140 cm and bedroom 2 has a double bed of 150x200 cm and a cot (150 cm long).

Note: The last two sleeping places are located on the sofa bed (120 cm) in the hallway downstairs. Spacious hallway, but not a private room.

Other things to note
Cleaning
We would like you to clean the house before you leave (if you wish to pay for this, please let us know). Bed linen is placed in the bathroom by the washing machine, together with used towels.

Garbage can be placed in the garbage bin on the outside of the house.

Summer time:
Road all the way up to the house.

Winter:
In case of frost or snow, you have to park about 70 meters from the house, and walk the last part.
