During the winter months from November through April, AWD or 4WD is advised. The road is well maintained, though portions with gentle elevation changes can be difficult for two wheel drive vehicles in winter conditions.

The home is configured similarly to a duplex, with an adjacent caretaker unit occupied by the owner. Each space has its own completely private entrance and is fully separated by a secure, locked door on both sides, ensuring total guest privacy. The owner maintains a minimal on-site presence and is often out of town; when on-site, he is typically away during the day and returns late in the evening, allowing guests to enjoy a quiet, private, and uninterrupted stay.

This ranch is located in a neighborhood called Emma, just 10 minutes from Basalt and Willits, where you will find all of the essentials like Whole Foods, Safeway, Starbucks, gyms, yoga studios, restaurants, distilleries, banks, post office, UPS, Fedex, etc. Aspen and Snowmass are both 30 minutes away.

Don't want to drive to Aspen? There is a park and ride in Basalt. It's very easy to catch a bus right to the heart of Aspen (or you can transfer to any other mountain).
