Vacation rentals with lake access in Glasgow

We had an excellent stay at Newton Hall for a large group of friends. Prior to our stay the team had great communication, checking bed configurations etc. The house was perfect with lots of space in terms of both bedrooms as well as large dining and lounge spaces. The location is brilliant - right next to a Coop supermarket and a short walk from the picturesque Inveraray town with a selection of restaurants, bars and walks. One small snag when we arrived was that the hot tub hadn't been switched on and we had to wait several hours for it to heat up, but the team called almost immediately to apologise, recognise this shouldn't have happened, and check we were able to get it going. As we were only able to use it for a brief amount of time on our first of two nights, the owner later phoned and gave us a partial refund for our inconvenience, so this was all handled very well. All in all we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks again for a great weekend!

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful New Year here. The stunning and ever changing views across the Clyde from the large living room windows are excellent. A great place to relax, draw and spot wildlife. The place is spacious and plenty of room for 2 couples. This is our 2nd stay and we loved it.

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

We had a fantastic stay here for my mum's 60th birthday. Heather and Colin were very helpful, responsive hosts and couldn't have been more lovely throughout the booking process and during our stay! The house is exactly as described/pictured and has lots of activities fit for all the family. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future. Thank you! ☺️

Lovely and spacious home, perfect for 12 of us on a weekend break. Fantastic location and views. Very welcoming. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Brenda was very helpful and gave lots of information in advance. Hope to visit again sometime

We had a lovely stay in Jason and Mari’s beautiful cottage. The views are outstanding and the location and proximity to the seafront were perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, with excellent bedding and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were some lovely complimentary items included which were very much appreciated. We will definitely return next time we come to Fairlie.

The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The bed was super comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better. It was close to local attractions, public transport, and some amazing restaurants and cafes. Despite being in a central area, it was peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay. I truly felt at home during my stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic, hassle-free experience!

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

Had fantastic time in Lisa's flat even with Storm Eowyn keeping us indoors on the Friday. This is the second time I have booked it the first being for my son, daughter & son-in-law for my father's funeral. This time it was for my sister and myself. Can't complement it enough and its a lovely place to stay between Greenock and Gourock. We will use it the next time we visit Scotland.

Gorgeous apartment and centrally located. Easy walking distance to all amenities, pubs, shops, walks etc. Suz was easily contactable and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend her place. It had everything you would need to feel comfortable and at home.

It's exactly as the photos show. It's a room with double bed and sofa bed, it has a small separate kitchen and great sized shower room. The surrounding area is beautiful. For People with dogs, there's 2 areas at front with grass but it's not secure or fenced in. Lovely wee place!

Crescent Cottage is a great place to stay in Luss. It is central to all the village amenities and the Loch. This is our fifth stay at the cottage and we just love it. Very comfortable beds and very clean. Stunning views of the mountains from the large back garden. Would recommend Crescent Cottage for anyone wanting to enjoy Luss, the Highlands and the surrounding areas. Spectacular Glencoe is just over an hours drive away. Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday- the cottage really feels like a home from home and there are lots of little extras which make the experience, such as games, paintings, pantry items and we loved watching the birds on the feeders - we saw wood peckers and a buzzard sat in the tree opposite. Adrienne is really responsive and made the experience really easy for us! Thanks again x

We had the most relaxing week here. Carole was so helpful and responsive especially when the weather caused some disruptions to the roads. I have 2 young children and a teenager who all want to go back! And the dog 😁

John and Dora's place is superb. The cottage is set aside from the main house affording visitors privacy but meaning the attentive hosts are at hand if needed. Warmly welcomed with a burst of useful information and a tin of Scottish delight to help our cups of tea go down. The settings are just glorious with expansive views across the Clyde towards Arran. We spent hours on the local beaches with our hounds just enjoying the scenery. Everyone you meet is friendly and chatty with some lovely places to eat and drink at hand. We will be back again.

Kates place was the perfect location for a family break. The open plan living area was a great space with 3 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We were lucky to have sunshine and got to make the most of the garden as well which with plenty of grassy areas, trees, decking and seating was great for us to sit in the sun trap and watch the dogs and kids to play. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Had a great stay at Eleanor's place. So peaceful and exactly what we were needing. Eleanor was very helpful, as was Eileen the neighbour who also gave some great advice on things to see. Location is stunning with lots of light getting into the house and great views of the loch, perfect for reading and relaxing. The fire easily warms the whole house and the kitchen was great for cooking nice meals!

What can I say about this cottage? Outstanding, absolutely beautiful it has everything you would ever need. The cottage is very clean and well laid out. Lynda is the best host so responsive at all times and sometimes proactive. We had a power cut after the recent storm, Lynda offered to move me to a hotel or another cottage. I decided to stay and put up with the power outage which was really cosy with candles burning and the log fire lit. The real lovely surprise is when you turn off the road down the track to the cottage and you see the Loch which you cross a causeway to get the cottage, amazing. It’s a place I definitely want to return to return to for a holiday. So thank you for letting me use your amazing place Lynda I hope to stay again 👍
