It was a pleasure to meet Stuart, very friendly and helpful. The room and breakfast were spot on for an overnight stay, the on suite bathroom was clean and functional, great shower. Would stay again.

Big comfortable room with amazing views. A very effective standalone electric heater is provided to keep out the sea chill. Breakfast was delicious and prepared using good quality ingredients. Do give yourself a minimum of an hour to enjoy it to the full. Avril provided us with interesting insights and useful information relating to our travel plans. Many thanks..

We had a great stay in beautiful Balmaha at Fiona’s place. Easy walking distance down to the village shop/coffee shop and the inn for food. Really close to Conic hill as well so a great location if you just want to get up and get walking. We enjoyed a big walk up the hill and along a part of the West Highland Way. Fiona’s hospitality was fantastic. We enjoyed chatting with her and she gave us lots of helpful tips during our stay. Her packed lunches were amazing and she went the extra mile with a little bottle of prosecco and a cupcake for my partner’s birthday. Would definitely recommend!

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

A great bed & breakfast experience in Scotland! George and Sandra are very nice and welcoming. We felt right at home. We had access to the tea room, and in the small hall of the rooms there is a microwave, a fridge and for making tea and coffee. We recommend tasting George's breakfast - delicious and plentiful! We were going with a little girl and they made everything very easy for us. Definitely recommend! That yes, it is a place with history and rustic, in a very quiet environment. Please keep this in mind!

We stayed only one night but it was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the dogs so cute !

if I could give this 10 stars I would! we absolutely loved it, wish we could've spent more time there, and loved the beautiful decor (well done, Laura!), the extra amenities, and the luxury of the small touches. cannot fully express how much we loved staying there! the living room was an incredibly bright and beautiful place to relax. the breakfast was amazing. if you go to Scotland and do not make an effort to get to Culross and stay here for at least a couple of nights, you're missing out on a very special experience.

We really loved our stay here. The cottage is gorgeous with beautiful views all around. Margaret really went out her way to welcome us so friendly. Our little boy loved seeing the chickens, ducks and geese on the property. Plenty of activities to do in the surrounding areas as well. Definitely reccomend beautiful home and family, comfortable and clean.

Very warm and welcoming home, just like Brenda, Snowball and Hermione. We were very well received. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was full. Very good location and great view. Great pub next door!

The bedroom was extremely clean with lovely bedding. Bathroom was spotless. Very organised check in and clear instructions for breakfast. All very efficient and value for money. Views were great

Rob's place is outstanding set in the most tranquil and beautiful surroundings. One can sleep with the windows open and not hear a thing. In the morning you were gently woken up with the sounds of lambs in the distance. Just a truly great place and the standard of accommodation is sublime, hats off to you Rob for having such a place. First time stay and hopefully I will be back. Cheers.

Laura and Castlecroft B&B were a welcomed rest after a long travel day. Laura greeted us and gave us a quick tour and let us get settled in after arriving later than expected. She pointed us to a wonderful dinner spot and the next morning we had the best breakfast! We also came with our toddler and Laura made her feel right at home. Highly recommend Laura and the Castlecroft for a stay!
