Claire’s cottage was lovely. Beautiful view from the two front windows. We wished we would have stayed longer. Easy drive into Cardross and Helensburgh. Claire was very welcoming and always available. Would definitely recommend staying at the Holiday Cottage! Thank you!

The perfect house for our family get together. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, the games room was a hit, as was the hot tub! The house was warm with loads of hot water. Thank you!

We stayed at Wester Walston Lodge to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. We had an amazing time and the lodge had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and the private gardens. Would recommend and we would like to return in the future.

The house was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. We found it easily and arrived to fresh scones and prosecco, which was lovely. The house was clean and well-stocked, with plenty wood available for the fire. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. Sitting in the hot tub looking out at the hills and river was very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage, we had a great time and felt right at home. This house was absolutely stunning and just as the pictures show, perfect weekend from start to finish, the area is quiet but close enough to the city centre, the whole place was immaculate, we felt so at home, the hot tub was perfect, we would love to return in the future, thanks scott

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We had a lovely stay at this unique cottage. The setting is delightful, with views over the gorge. The rooms are a great size and the hot tub is completely private and was great for relaxing at the end of the day. The cottage had all of the basics for cooking our meals (no microwave). We would thoroughly recommend a visit and would be very happy to stay again in the future.

Amazing home from home house with the added bonus of a hot tub and a pool table to help unwind. Plenty of kitchen equipment to cook for large numbers.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Amazing hosts. Diana was responsive and if not able to respond her husband Mark jumped in immediately to ensure we were dealt with. We had one small issue with wifi and within minutes it was responded to and sorted !! Also supported us in arranging executive driver co to take us into Edinburgh. Checked in at all key times to ensure we well informed . Will 100% use this amazing house again. Wayne.

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

We enjoyed our stay at the lodges and had a lovely time with all the family celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. James was amazing and always on hand to respond quickly when ever we asked anything. I highly recommend the lodges as it’s peaceful and quiet. A+++++++++++

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

The house was super, lovely welcome hamper, with Scottish goodies. Advised of earlier check in without asking. Hot tub, lovely outside heater and the pool table were highlights The area we know well is just amazing With fabulous walks From your door step. Recommended Cu mara to eat and it did not disappoint, the food was incredible The Ben arthur pub very welcoming as was the village inn. Highly recommend and would book again

Had a wonderful family holiday here, the christmassy touches were really appreciated. Beautiful area with great places to walk the dog. Really spacous was bigger inside than I thought from the pictures. Really enjoyed the hottub, happened to be a meteor shower while visiting so saw some great shooting stars. logs were always kept topped up for the fire. Very lovely airbnb thankyou!

Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

Loved our stay here! Booked it for New Year and it was a perfect location for a couple. Amazing views and we were surprised by how much there is to do in the area. Catherine helped out with recommendations and was very helpful.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

We booked Innes lodge as a treat for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful from start to finish. Ardlui Retreat is like a luxury hotel with the benefits of family friendly lodge accommodation in a perfect, peaceful setting at the north of Loch Lomond. Staff are attentive without being intrusive and the lodge itself was just perfect. We used the Swedish BBQ one night and had such good fun. The hot tub was private and our children loved it. The location is great for children, water sports and sight seeing. Even the wet bank holiday weather couldn’t dampen our spirits. A lovely long weekend and hopefully the first of many visits!

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!
