Vacation rentals with lake access in Ellijay

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ruth's Airbnb, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, Ruth was an incredibly welcoming host, greeting me with warmth and making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space itself was immaculate, festive decorations, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush bedding. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat yet close enough to local attractions. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure I had a seamless experience, providing helpful local recommendations and even a personalized welcome booklet. I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing and memorable stay, Ruth’s place is definitely the one to book! Highly recommended!

With it being a tournament weekend and the reason for our stay, it would have been very helpful to have access to charge the boat batteries. Overall, had a very enjoyable visit and will stay again if we are ever in another tournament in Lanier. Thanks, The Roach's

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and very well maintained. There was plenty of parking and things to do at the house! Crystal made the process easy and was very attentive. We will definitely book again if we’re ever back in the area. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

The house is exactly as pictured. They have plenty of towels for outdoor use and inside. The super host had all of the extras such as dinnerware, coffee maker, wine glasses, silverware, pots, pans measuring cups, paper plates, aluminium foil, and goodies in the refrigerator. There are extra bedding materials and blankets upstairs and downstairs. I washed clothes and they also had laundry detergent. This super host thought of what a girl needs. One thing to note is reception. I lost reception the closer I drove into the neighborhood. I had to drive back towards the entrance to screenshot the instructions to enter the home. I have verizon and was unable to make calls until I was logged into their network. After that I was all good for the weekend. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. There is a local ran gas station right before the entrance and it closes at 7pm if you need anything quick. The publix is a little further. This place is an awesome getaway and everything pictured.

Great place we had tons of fun, the lake is beautiful. Quiet and private. The deck is great to enjoy the sunset. The hosts are great and accommodating. We spent a few months here for work and enjoyed every bit of it. Next time we are back in Gainesville will 100% stay again

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

Adorable efficiency suite . Great view of the lake and suitable areas to walk our dog. Very clean and quiet. Was an easy drive into Hiawassee.

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.

This place was perfect! Super comfy, especially the bed and super soft sheets! Loved the screened in porch view, being elevated, looking down at the lake, felt so naturesque and private!

Margarita's place had everything we needed, and were looking for for an impromptu weekend getaway. It was close to the Jackrabbit trails, which we enjoyed with friends, and the lake. Plus, we enjoyed a bonus sunset drink, with some great food truck bbq, on the new dock bar! We would definitely stay again.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. We loved our stay at Terry's place in the beautiful mountains of western NC! His place is super comfortable, bright, and convenient to everything. Terry was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay! While a bit remote, the house was really nice and exactly as pictured. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location on the lake. Bob was responsive and has the house well stocked. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on and exploring the lake.

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

Judith’s place was very nice. Quiet peaceful lake front home and just 10 minutes to downtown Cleveland. Would recommend and would stay again.

I can't say enough about our stay here. Everything we may have needed was available. The wildlife was amazing. We saw deer every day on our walks. The dock was perfect for our boat and swimming. it's where we spent most of our time. The jacuzzi was a treat. Beds were extremely comfortable. There are 3 kings. The pics show one room w/ 2 twins, but that is not the case. Thankfully my boys didn't have to share a room this time or that would have been an issue (insert mom eyeroll here). Short 30 minute drive to beautiful Helen. Grocery store and fast food is easy to get to. We had a wonderful week and did not want to leave. Thank you Karen for a beautiful home and a wonderful stay. We hope to be back next summer!

Nice cozy little cottage perfect for a small Family Getaway. It met our needs for what we wanted. Information booklet was helpful and easy to follow never needed to call for questions.
