I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway! Ruth’s place in Galax was the perfect escape after a hectic end to the school year. The home was peaceful, spotless, and beautifully maintained—exactly what I needed to relax and recharge. Ruth was a thoughtful and responsive host, and everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. The quiet surroundings and small-town charm made it even more special. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

This place was a gem. The views were absolutely stunning—whether it was sunrise with coffee or winding down in the evening, the scenery never got old. Inside, it felt like home from the moment I walked in. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together with everything I needed. You can tell the host really cares about creating a welcoming space. That’s why we’ve rented this place in the past as well.

We were in town for a family wedding at the WinMock and this AirBnB was a perfect location. The house was very clean and Benjamin was a responsive host.

Ashley was a phenomenal host, and went above and beyond helping us with resources for finding homes (as we are relocating to the area) and recommendations for areas she thought we'd enjoy. she was very quick to respond and truly made us feel like family in her beautiful haven of peace and tranquility. everything was awesome and so was she. thank you for a truly memorable experience 💖

We loved our stay, the home was just as described! There were so many extra touches that made you feel so welcomed. We saw many deer and birds from the spacious deck, and enjoyed family time around the campfire. Our family made some precious memories at Little Hare Hideaway while celebrating my son's graduation from ASU!! Thank you for providing an exceptional level of hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great spot for families, very private and peaceful. Good location, close to all the hiking, fishing and things to do in Boone. Appreciated the instructions on all the appliances. Connie was very accommodating and responsive. Would love to come back another time, especially with the pool opening up with the warmer weather!

This was our second time staying at Barri's home and was just as enjoyable as the first. A lovely home with a big backyard for the pups to play in. The neighborhood is very peaceful and the neighbors are wonderful people. Would highly recommend a stay if you're visiting Winston.

Had a wonderful time visiting my daughter who is a medical student at Wake Forest. The house was so bright and welcoming! Clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for my dog! We enjoyed eating on the covered back patio. A few little touches made the place feel special and welcoming. Lovely, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean home. It suited our family's needs perfectly, with everything we required—and more. Just a 6-minute drive to Wake Forest, which was ideal for us. The host was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!

We were attending a wedding in the area (at The Shiloh), and this place was perfect for my wife and I, plus our son & daughter in-law with their 2 infants and also our 2 yellow Labs. The place is well equipped and had everything we needed. It even had a crib for one of the babies and a fenced yard for the dogs. The house is on a ranch where we were all able to walk around the vast property and see horses, goats, and sheep. Great views of the mountains in the background. Sally was a great host. She is very friendly and responded almost immediately to any questions that we had. I would recommend Sally and this house to anyone looking to stay in that area for an event or just a nice peaceful get away in the country/mountains. There is also a banquet hall located on the ranch property for parties or events.

Amazing stay! Brooke & Brian could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The house was perfect for our stay and our son loved the goats, chickens and turkeys. We are excited to return again for our next trip!

We enjoyed the incredibly beautiful views of the mountains, vineyard and rolling hills surrounding the property. The fire pit is a great place to chill and watch the sunset. The layout of the cottage worked perfectly for our group (our family of 4 and the grandparents.) Thank you for sharing your property on Airbnb!

loved our stay! great location, only about 45 minutes from Grayson highlands state Park to go see wild ponies. The property also along the New River, so we brought our inflatable paddle boards and went for a short paddle up river and then floated back down (don't recommend unless you are experienced with river paddling safety). Everything about our stay was wonderful and we hope to stay again in the future

Amy's place is a clean, comfortable two bedroom home on a very quiet and secluded gravel road, only 10 or 15 minutes away from Grayson Highlands State Park and the wonderful Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, one of my favorite places in the southern Appalachians. The house has everything one needs for a highly pleasant getaway. I'm a repeat customer.

A very nice place to stay long term. Nice view of the lake nearby and a nice community that is peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
