Donnell Pond Rustic Camp Young

EdwinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The cabin was amazing!!! Right on the lake where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, and rowing. Outdoor grill and table were perfect for grilling burgers! Inside was really cool, clean, and had a great layout! We played lots of darts. Kitchen had everything we needed. Host was really nice and had some breakfast items in the fridge for us! The area does not have signal or wifi, but it is great to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful outdoors. Would highly recommend this place again. Perfect for a weekend getaway or even longterm. Acadia National Park is only about 40 minutes away. Lots of cool things to do in the area.

Sunset Pines

Upon opening the door of Karen’s home we were impressed with the cleanliness of the property. We enjoyed the rustic feel of the house combined with all the modern day features. The house is in a great location for visiting Acadia National Park or Bangor. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything needed to accommodate our group of 6. Although the pictures on the website don’t make the house look large it easily handled our group of 6 with comfortable bedding. The porches are an added bonus allowing people to spread out. We greatly appreciated the coffee and creamers the host supplied along with the excellent communication.

On the Rocks!

ElenaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Usually in Maine, we stay at the Bar Harbor. This time we decided to rent a house and we did not regret it. The house is tucked away in the woods right on the lake. It looks new and well decorated. Beautiful mornings, sunset and starry skies are guaranteed.Deanna is super friendly . If you need anything she responds very quickly. What did we like about the house? Absolutely everything. Especially the cleanliness, super quiet air conditioning, full kitchen with large refrigerator, grill, lake view. The house is perfect for both a romantic getaway and a family adventure. Highly recommend

The River’s Nest

SethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great time at Dennis and Paige's place! We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful river view during early(ish) mornings and sunsets. the neighborhood was lovely and nice to walk around, it was like EVERYONE there gardened. The kitchen set up was small and barebones, but that was expected so it was no issue. Plus the local restaurants made up for it! We loved the "nest" theming around the bay window, though we thought it was funny how many framed pictures of concrete roads there were around the house. Sometimes I did worry about our privacy, because only the bedroom window has curtains and it was a pretty lively neighborhood. We really appreciated that our check out time was 1pm, and while we left early, it gave us time to relax and enjoy the peace and comfort of the house for a minute without rushing out the door in the morning. If you're looking to stay in the area, I'd definitely recommend this place! Thanks

Bright, Modern Vacation Home w/ Water Views!

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The views are AMAZING! We had a wonderful time. The sunrise, the moon glistening on the water and beautiful deer across the street. The projector was also so fun and different than just a normal TV.
An outdoor deck features a dining set with six chairs under a vibrant red umbrella. Lush greenery surrounds the area, enhancing the natural setting. Visible in the background is a screened-in porch and glimmers of the lake through the trees.

Waterfront Great Pond Cottage w/ Hot Tub & Deck!

AshleyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our stay at the Great Pond Airbnb was incredible! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the paddle boat—it was magical to take it out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Truly a dream! Finding the place initially was a bit tricky (we missed some details in the instructions), and cell service in the area is spotty, so definitely screenshot directions beforehand. Once settled, though, it was perfect. Being just over an hour from Acadia National Park was a huge bonus! We had a blast hiking, especially on Precipice Trail (challenging but amazing!) and Beehive Trail for a slightly easier, but still fun option. This spot offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

Graham Lake Cottage

SaraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Can’t say enough about Craig’s beautiful lakeside cottage. If you like remote, peaceful and being close to nature this is for you. The house and contents seemed brand new and they had thought of everything we could want, right down to pancake mix, maple syrup and Maine blueberries for our breakfasts. An easy drive to Acadia. Craig was communicative, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic stay and hope we’ll be back.
