Great Host! Great place! As beautiful and great a place as described!

Lila’s home was very nice and clean. The area was nice and quiet. She was very helpful with any questions we had. Most definitely will be booking again when in the area.

This place feels like home from the time we walked in. It is decorated and furnished with quality pieces, nice carpets, and any convenience we could think of. Most importantly, very clean and generously equipped. The back yard, pool and fire pit are all in great condition…the pool can be heated and has lights for nighttime swimming. Deborah is a great host, easy to communicate with…we would love to visit again.

I can’t say enough about this property. When you picture a historic SoCal neighborhood and house — this place does not disappoint. But it has all the amenities. We wanted a good convenient location in the LA area to celebrate my wife’s birthday that would give us a fantastic place to hang out but also easy to access cities nearby, especially visiting my son in Anaheim. Not only was this location easy to access, the backyard pool set up is perfect for relaxing for an entire day. The house itself is so beautiful, comfortable and charming (plus a great place to watch a movie at night). Everything about this stay was perfect — my wife cannot stop talking about it! Combine that with a fantastic host! Jorgen is easy to communicate with and very flexible (plus — he has a great taste in movies!) My family said “this has to be where we stay when we do family meets up in SoCal from now on!” I highly recommend staying at this beautiful historic property.

Host was very communicative but not invasive. Felt right at home and has everything you would need, like staying at a friend’s house. Beds were great. Loved the front deck - so peaceful with comfortable furniture, lush greenery, and great view. Spent most of our time out there. One caveat, to get the great views in the middle of the city, you have to climb. We did not have a problem with it and we are not particularly young or super fit, but if you struggle with stairs at all, definitely not the place for you. And keep in mind that anything you bring (luggage, groceries, etc) will need to be taken up a single narrow staircase (roughly the height of 1.5 floors) so maybe not a good choice if you don’t travel light. We would stay again.

This place is truly one of a kind! Just a 10-minute drive from LAX, it’s tucked away on the corner of a quiet neighborhood, but what makes it unforgettable is its amazing pirate theme. The host, Jeremy, has gone above and beyond—he even created an entire website dedicated to the experience! From the moment you arrive, Jeremy makes you feel welcome and ensures you have everything you need. The backyard is a private oasis, complete with a pool and hot tub that are perfect for unwinding. You’ll also have secure private parking behind a locked gate, which is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with tons of character and a fantastic host, this is it. Highly recommend!

This was my first time booking an Airbnb and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The home was absolutely beautiful, full of MCM charm in a fantastic neighborhood that surrounds a lake. I was intrigued and did a little research to learn when and why this lake was built- super adorable. I learned that Laguna Lake was born as a small man-made livestock pond near the turn of the century. I'm a lifelong SoCal resident, even lived in Fullerton at one time and never knew about this quaint area. Everything was just as described and even better. We hosted a family gathering to celebrate a few graduations, cooked, bbq'd, swam, made delicious cocktails and enjoyed the pad. We even scored bonus avocados from a tree in the yard and made organic guacamole- thanks, Dean! The weather wasn't as warm as we expected so I asked Dean to heat the pool at 8pm and by morning, it was warmer than the air. We swam well into the night and topped off the evening playing board games and watched a movie.

Beautiful and clean house, smells like clean. Great for family events or get together. Great pool😊 everything was wonderful.

Felt right at home! Will definitely stay again

We had such a wonderful stay in downtown LA. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast each morning. It was clean, beautifully designed, and felt so cozy, especially with the antique lamp casting a warm glow at night. I loved how the city lights reflected into the living room and made the evenings feel magical. The rooftop pool and hot tub had amazing views, and we met some great people there. The building felt very safe with on-site security, which we really appreciated. Ali was a fantastic host. He was super responsive and full of great recommendations. My husband, his cousin, and I all loved it and would definitely stay again.

The apartment is located right in the middle of DTLA, with most major sights within a 20-minute walk. While parts of Broadway and some sections east of it are a bit sketchy, the building itself checks the identity of everyone entering and feels very safe. Parking is in a garage across the street, which also feels safe. The apartment is spacious, with tall ceilings and lots of light. The bedroom isn't fully separate (only a half wall) so it gets light and noise from the main area in the mornings (eye mask and earplugs will be good for the person who sleeps later). The kitchen area is modern, with good counter space and appliances. Giselle and Ali were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. They provided lots of local tips and quickly addressed any questions or minor issues.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Shant was a great host, answered messages instantly! His place was perfect for our stay in LA, very spacious and clean and really well appointed! It was great to have a parking space as we had our car and had to drive a lot while we were there. Only hiccup was the parking garage key but we worked around it. Couple things to note, the parking garage is in a different building across the street. And the bedroom is not completely sealed from the rest of the apartment. It was no issue for us but others may want to note.

I had a great stay! The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious, with a large balcony and two bathrooms—perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. The location is fantastic, in a safe neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. Having access to a parking garage was a huge plus—finding parking in LA can be tough, but this made it super easy. The host was very responsive, understanding, and genuinely nice and cool. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Had a convention to attend and this place was a great alternative to a hotel. Very private and a quiet building although there was some street noise, as one would expect in a downtown location. It was an easy walk to the convention center, the grocery store, and the historic/museum district. 24-hour security helped me feel safe as a solo traveler. The rooftop pool area was a total bonus, great views and a chill vibe. Peter and his team were very responsive and helpful from booking through checkout. I would stay here again and recommend the place to anyone who needs to be in DTLA.

Michael and Laura were fabulous hosts. Before I checked in, they sent me a message asking about my favorite drink -- so that they could have it waiting for me! I felt like I arrived to a secret garden, with a darling welcome sign at the front door. The entrance feels fully private and the area is so quiet. The space is thoughtfully stocked, with everything I needed for cooking, showering, sleeping, relaxing. Michael checked in to see that I had everything I needed and was quick to respond when I texted about best walkable grocery stores or scenic walks. They are a perfect combination of warm and attentive, while also respecting privacy. This is my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed. And I hope to come back again! Seriously cannot thank them enough for a wonderful time and for sharing their incredible space with me! Hugs to you both -- fabulous job!

Wonderful, private hideaway in the midst of bustling LA. We enjoyed our stay so very much. Don and Adrian were so kind and friendly and welcoming. Great amenities. Perfect and peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful grounds that are well kept and make you feel like you are in another world... which you are!

My family of 3 had a relaxing stay at Daniel's pool oasis. The location in a peaceful neighborhood immediately made us feel safe and at ease. It is clear that Daniel has put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable and well-appointed space. The manual provided was detailed and full of helpful information about the house and the surrounding area. The beautiful patio and yard, complete with a stunning pool and hot tub, provided the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day. The beds and bedding were comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen was well equipped. I appreciated touches like the dimmer function on all the lights, allowing us to create the perfect ambiance. The decor throughout the house was lovely, and the abundance of games and books was a nice bonus. Daniel's place was cozy and comfortable – the perfect haven to relax and recharge. I appreciated Daniel’s professionalism and thoughtfulness to ensure a positive experience. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Lisa’s Glassell Park home while my sister was in town visiting. This is the neighborhood I live in (3 min drive away!) so it was an exciting staycation. Lisa’s back house is beautifully designed, comfortable and spacious. Perfect homebase for my sister’s time in LA. Easily would stay here again.

Gina's house was a great place to host our friend getaway for a long weekend. We were in town for a wedding and 5 of us shared the house. Everything about the house matched how it was advertised, with the pool being the biggest highlight. In between our wedding plans, we spent virtually every waking minute at the pool and it was lovely. The backyard feels like your own little private getaway. There are privacy fences around the entire perimeter, but then additional shrubs/trees that make you feel even more confined in the space. We felt like we were totally alone back there and we really loved that. The place is walkable to a handful of coffee places/restaurants/etc, and only a 5-10 minute Uber ride to just about any place in Pasadena. Gina was helpful, responsive, proactive in reaching out/sending check-in instructions, etc. We had a great time and would stay again!!

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at Alison's. It is a peaceful safe quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and shops. She has taken a lot of care in decorating and making it feel like a home with nice touches. Full kitchen so you can cook and enjoy eating outside. Lots of places to relax around the pool. Parking on the property is a big plus but there is also lots of street parking. Alison was very quick to respond and I would highly recommend this property.

This was our second time staying at the house. We came down for our daughter’s college graduation and the house fit us perfectly. Also needing to accommodate our two dogs! I recommend this house without any hesitation!
