Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Des Plaines

First off, amazing hosts! The place was great for what we needed it for.. a little smaller than expected but like I said, just enough space for my husband and I! It was our first time in Chicago so we spent a lot of time outside anyway. The only thing I was bummed about was street parking. You have to pay by the hour between Mon-Sat 8a-10p. We did great up until the last day, I forgot to pay after stopping in to change around 5p and by 8p a ticket was on my car lol the plus side is there was always space in front of the building so we never had to park in a garage blocks away, as suggested as an alternative. Overall, our stay was GREAT! Thank you for being so accommodating.

It was a great place to stay definitely felt like home! I went for the weekend and the restaurants around there were great. They communicated very well when I had questions and responded with good time. Thank you and I’ll see you next year! :)

We stayed with my family for 3 days n loved the place it's ambience, cleanliness, very well equipped with all the necessities.....this place definitely feels like home and the hosts are very kind and quick with there response. Wherever in future I am coming to chicago shall book this place.

We loved Kerilyn’s Airbnb! Super smooth check in process, and the apartment was cute and fit our group of four comfortably. We loved hanging out on the couch over coffee in the morning, and Kerilyn was a super responsive host. Steps to all Logan Square has to offer, so I would definitely recommend staying here!

This was a beautiful building. It was secured. The security will let DoorDash on the elevator to let them get to your door to drop off your food. There is a dry cleaners in the building but if you want to use them, make sure you take what you need there the first day because they can take a day or two. The apartment has a great view. It is a corner unit so you pretty much have a view of the sun rising and setting. You also have a view of the lake, which kinda looks like the ocean because you can’t see the other side of it. It has everything needed. It has some really good cookware. I’m actually going to purchase that cookware for my house. The water pressure is really good. It has a rocking chair which I like because I have a massage chair at home so the rocking was therapeutic. And the Internet was fast.

Great location to attend a Cubs game! Nice place, nice backyard to relax outside. Comfortable furniture. Fun part of Chicago for food and shopping

Milan runs a professional Airbnb service and promptly responded to all our queries. We stayed at Apartment No. 605 which, was clean and had all the required amenities for a comfortable stay.

I stay in a lot of Airbnbs. At least 3 a year, most of them in Lakeview. This was the best one! I’m originally from Lakeview and have been disappointed how commercialized and impersonal Airbnb has become. This was the opposite of that. It was so homey, I felt like I’d lived there my whole life. Would definitely stay again.

Wendy and Matt's place was comfortable and homey. The location was great, the apartment comfortable, and we had essential amenities. The building is mid-century modern and designed by famed architect Harry Weese that incorporates thoughtful references to Chicago architectural history throughout while still remaining visually cohesive. One minor issue is the stove, which is electric and somewhat underpowered. It's good enough for minor work like breakfast or heating leftovers but you may struggle producing more elaborate meals. It was a very minor quibble but worth noting for those culinarians wanting to prepare their own meals. The oven is decent but there is only one. Overall, my stay was excellent and I recommend Wendy and Matt's place wholeheartedly. They are excellent hosts as well.

Briana was responsive before, during and immediately after our stay, always seeking to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We would have no reservations about staying with them again if they have an opening during a future visit to the area.

Beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, a calm oasis in the urban landscape of Rogers Park. The kitchen was well stocked and thoughtfully laid out. There was easy access to many delicious restaurants and we were so thankful for our own parking space. Walking to and along the lake was was one of our top two highlights of our trip. Mark and Marcello were very responsive and helpful with our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is awesome. Easy walk to Libertyville’s charming downtown and to the train station for the train ride into Chicago. We spent a lot of time in the house because of the cold and rainy weather. Therefore we appreciated the ability to spread out on all 3 levels of the house. Great neighborhood!

This was the perfect place to stay with our dog for our daughter's wedding. Close to the venue and a great walking trail for the dog close by. We stayed at Larry’s place for a family gathering for Easter. The house was perfect for our large family! Everything we needed to prepare Easter dinner for 12 people was there-plenty of kitchen supplies, different seating areas, two kitchens, and lots of space! The adults and kids had a wonderful time. Larry even made sure we had fishing poles, bait, and s’mores supplies, which was very thoughtful. The beds were so comfortable, I even looked up the bedding that was there because I slept so good I want it for my home! We are definitely planning another trip to Larry’s place when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the lake activities more. There was great communication with Larry and I would highly recommend!!

Mark and his partner have clearly put their heart and soul into preparing this home for guests. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and any instructions you might need seem to appear just when you need them. The house itself is cozy, clean, and incredibly comfortable. To future guests, make sure to spend some time in the beautiful backyard. Whether you’re sipping a drink, reading a book, or simply having a chat, it’s a lovely, peaceful spot that adds something special to the stay.

The host was above and beyond. The place was as described. Large space and well accommodating. Sabrina went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend
