Great cabin, with a beautiful view overlooking Anza-Borrego. Clean, well appointed, well designed, and nicely located within relatively close proximity to Cleveland National Forest. Anza-Borrego, and greater San Diego. Check-in and communication were a breeze. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Matt's place! The house was exactly as described, and the photos truly don’t do it justice. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – from kitchen essentials to cozy linens. The location was perfect – close to great restaurants, shops, and public transport, yet peaceful enough to relax after a busy day exploring. Matt was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations and checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a memorable stay!

We LOVED staying at the Hobo preserve. It was the perfect cozy, comfy, and peaceful getaway. The wood stove was amazing, and so kind of Rebecca to prep the fireplaces for us so all we had to do was light them. There was plenty of firewood available to keep us warm the two nights we stayed. Having a fenced in yard was great for our dog to hang with us and sniff around while we spent time outside. The decor was perfect for the space, we loved all of the cute lighting. The property was extensive and we had fun exploring around the property, as well as some hikes around the surrounding areas. We already decided we would love to come back! Especially during the spring when it’s more likely the creek would be running. Thank you so much, Rebecca!

My family loved our stay here. It was a perfect cabin for my four young kids to enjoy. It was easy for me to set the cabin to our preference with their provided directions. I was able to get the fireplace going, the music on, the windows set exaclty how we wanted and the kids had plenty of games to choose from. The trail book I looked through had helpful markings so we could plan out our hike while we stayed there. The kitchen was well set and the jacuzzi made for a relaxing close to our evenings. I absolutely enjoyed staying at the cabin this fall.

Wonderful spot, very quiet area. Jackie was very responsive & checked in to make sure everything was okay. I appreciated all the labels in the house. Small & cozy, perfect for 2-people.

I try to stay here a few times a year to get away from the city life. It never disappoints. Private lake with great fishing and a pristine and quiet home. What's to not love?

This cabin was a perfect cozy overnight getaway for my family. It was a little small for the 4 of us (my husband and two teens) but still comfortable and very clean. The beds were comfortable, even the pull out bed. It’s a quiet and private property, close to Julian and over looking Cuyamaca lake.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Roadrunner Resort. It had most anything you needed while you enjoy your stay. Karri was quick to get back to me on any questions I had and was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm looking to visit the area.

Had a lovely time. A peaceful quiet place with everything I needed, the best view, and sweet Hosts. The feeders just outside were frequented by birds and rabbits and it was a treat to sit and watch them.
