Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cullman County

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Claire’s home. She was very good at communicating and answering any questions we had. The drive to cullman for dinner is not bad at all! This house is in a great location, it’s a great place to relax. We definitely will be back:)

Our family really enjoyed Lynn’s place. The house was very clean and there was more than enough room for the 6 of us. We caught fish right off the dock and also swam and kayaked. The dock was fun and relaxing, the deck was peaceful and comfy. We had people of all ages 16 to 66 and everyone had a blast. Thank you Lynn.

I can’t say enough about this host and the property. We travel out of state every week during spring/summer basketball season & we have stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties. This property was immaculate. Truly felt like a home away from home. The home had more than enough, from bath bombs, fishing poles, wood for the fire pit! You name it, they had it. Suggestions to the nearest Wine & Spirits just the overall convenience & helpfulness was just amazing! I would recommend this host and property anytime! Not to mention they sent donuts the morning of check out! This is not just someone looking to make money, this host is looking to make you feel at HOME! Thank you so much for doing so. Five stars if I could give 6 stars I would!

the space was great! pup and kid friendly, morgan was always responsive, the property was private and a perfect space for spring break. we didnt catch any firsh but had a fun time in the lake anyway.

We had a family reunion at Julia's property for the week around New Years. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The house is gorgeous with enough space to gather or find some quiet if you want a smaller group or need to get away from the group for a bit. There are lots of nooks to be in. The kitchen is more appointed than any I've seen. There is a Vitamix, a food processor, a slow cooker, a cast iron dutch oven, pizza stones, and an instant pot, not to mention else. We were extremely impressed with the tools available in the kitchen. The kids had lots of fun in the play room, romping around in the copious space, and playing on the grounds. Some people took a peaceful sunset kayak around the lake. There is a bike and treadmill upstairs which were used regularly by some of the group. That room is over the garage, so they don't bother anyone below. The hosts are friendly and very responsive. They even fixed something the same night we asked. We absolutely recommend this place.

Our multi-family gathering was a huge success at Amanda’s home in Crane hill. Even with 10 guests, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The kids loved the downstairs area with ping pong and video games, the adults gravitated to the wide open kitchen to make family meals, and the views of sunset from the top deck were enjoyed by everyone each evening. It was wonderful to have access to the kayaks and be able to be just a few stairs from the water - and we had great success fishing right off the dock (we caught blue gull, bass and channel catfish).

This wasn’t our first stay at the copper penny because we love the location and accommodations so much! Really feels like a home away from home. Katie is such a kind host who is always responsive when needed. We will be back and recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

This was an absolutely beautiful place. Very clean and spacious. It immediately makes you feel right at home and has everything you would need and stuff you don’t think about. The back sitting area was my favorite spot to unwind. Very relaxing with beautiful views and nature all around. The owner was very responsive and quickly responded to all of our questions. We rented this because my son was fishing the state bass nation championship. It is perfect for this!! We can’t wait to come back!

We are very familiar with Smith Lake, so we knew this was a gem. Largely flat with a gentle slope to the water, it was perfect for young kiddos, including elderly. Conveniently located to local shops that had whatever we might need. Older home, but very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the back deck and covered breeze-way along with the beautiful massive trees, we had plenty of shade to be able to have fun outside on even the hottest of July days. Strongly considering booking again. Loved every minute of our stay.

Great host, great place to stay, and beautiful lake what else more is there to say. Been coming to smith lake for years and it never lets us down will be recommending this place to others and potentially coming again!!!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

Great house on the water. Very peaceful sitting out on the floating dock. It was nice being in a quiet area but also a short drive to town to eat out.

Such a great place to stay! My friends and I stayed the weekend, such a treat!! Everything was amazing, all the cool additions like the paddle boards or the pool table, so amazing!! We loved this place. Highly highly recommend!!

The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with everything I needed—from fresh linens and kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches like extra blankets. The location was serene and tucked away just enough to feel private, yet still convenient to nearby trails and local attractions. I especially appreciated how quiet it was at night—perfect for stargazing or curling up with a book. If you’re looking for a restful, comfortable retreat in nature, I highly recommend this cabin. so cute! very clean and cozy. Had a good kitchen with full stove and microwave and full size refrigerator. Everything was so clean, near and tidy. front porch was great to sit and look at the water. nice repurposed pontoon deck to sit on right on the water. only thing somewhat less peaceful is the road right next to the property where people fly coming and going but you can't hear the road noise once in the cabin. still give it 10 stars for accessibility and comfort.

From the cleanliness and decor of the home to the outdoor amenities, it was picture perfect with breathtaking views. Jesse is very responsive and was so helpful the entire time we were there. We couldn’t have been happier during our stay, and highly recommend booking this gem!

This was a great location, and a beautiful home! We loved the outdoor space and the kids had the best time playing on the lily pad and kayaks! We would love to return to this home for another vacation. The communication was great between the owners and our group!
