Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Craig County

Our stay at Anna's Biking Dog was perfect for our needs. Location was by Norwich Park and very close to the Greenway. Grandin and Wasena neighborhoods are close by. The house was very comfortable with all we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

The house was super cute. This was the first place we've stayed in that had a really nice, well stocked coffee bar. They had everything that we needed to make the stay very nice. AND the best part was you don't really have to do anything when you checkout. I've never understood why you need to strip the beds, do all the dishes, take out the trash, and so on when you usually pay over $100 cleaning fee. Rebecca didn't have any instructions for checking out. She said the maid service would take care of everything. THAT IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!! Thank you!

The duplex was clean and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for 4 people and the den, kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were clean and nicely furnished. Special touches included cute nightstand lamps that were easily dimmed. The location was close to downtown and all the activities we wanted to do. Brandon was a perfect host.

Good place in a good location. Outside the hustle and bustle of the main part of the city, but still close enough to do things. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a large basement area with 2 additional bedrooms. Great for my family and I to stay the night while traveling across country.

The Carriage House oozes charm and comfort. The house is very clean and well-equipped with all of the comforts of home and Jonathan provided timely information to make everything seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Place looked just like the pictures. Perfect for a one night stay. We were driving and it was the perfect place to stop and rest overnight. Local restaurants had great food and drinks! Airbnb was very clean and had plenty of towels and utensils, pots, etc for cooking!

I just visited North Garden House in Lewisburg WV 4/4/25. It was absolutely beautiful, both inside and outside. The patio was quiet and peaceful. The house was warm and inviting. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. If you are looking for a getaway and some R&R then this location is it!!

We enjoyed sitting on the porch, walking the neighborhood, eating at the Palisades, and relaxing in a cozy house. Great staycation.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Michelle's place! The cabin was exactly as described and had a lot of privacy. The surroundings were beautiful - the best part was the riding stables only a four minute drive away. Definitely go for a ride and stop by the petting zoo:) Look forward to staying in the future!

Hokies Haven was great! It was exactly what we had hoped for. The newer townhome was clean with plenty of room both on the first floor living area as well as in the bedrooms. The additional space downstairs is a plus too. Kelly is a friendly, responsive host always willing to fill you in or answer your questions. Being so close to VT, as well as it being dog friendly, were definitely two additional features that made this place so special!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

The highlight of this stay was the gorgeous beaverdam waterfall, but the cottage is also lovely - very charming and comfortable. You can tell that Beau has put a lot of thought into making the property welcoming, and when I had an issue with the wifi router, he and Leah were very quick to address the issue, even though it was late in the evening. My dogs and I did several wonderful hikes in the Washington and Jefferson National forest, and it was nice to be able to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space afterwards.

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

As advertised. Easy and great communication. Had everything that was needed for our family of 4 and pup. Towels were nice and not thin. The beds were extremely comfortable and sheets were soft & clean. We are Hokies so we loved all the Hokie decor. We will definitely be staying again.

We highly recommend this place! We especially appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, the super interesting architecture and interior design, the many comfortable seating options, and the gorgeous natural surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at Sean and Jessica’s beautiful home on Smith Mountain Lake. The outdoor space was fantastic- perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lake views. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and we really appreciated having access to the hot tub, the kayaks and the stand-up paddle boards, which made our time on the water even more enjoyable. Our only concern during the stay was the presence of Ring cameras. While they were disclosed under the amenities, we had forgotten about them and were a bit uneasy with the green light always being on- it gave us the impression that we might be watched, even if unintentionally. We did raise this concern with Airbnb for peace of mind. Despite that, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home to future guests. It’s a great spot for a lake getaway with everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled trip.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and everything was exactly what we needed for a getaway! Christine was wonderful and had so many helpful recommendations. All the animals (especially the baby pigs!) were an added bonus and we would love to come back again soon!

The Moonshine yurt was better than we had imagined! The owners had thought of everything we might need and more . They even left us a welcome basket for our anniversary! We loved it so much that we have booked it for 2 more times later in the year ! I would give them 10 ⭐️ stars if that was an option!!!!

The house & surroundings were beautiful . It was well stocked, clean, and the washer/dryer were appreciated. It was close to our son’s graduation from Roanoke College & shopping. The Pool table was enjoyed by our guys. Open concept made visiting with our family enjoyable for the weekend celebration. Muchly Appreciated!

Really enjoyed our stay - we also rented the nearby "main" house and that was a great combo for our 3 family group.

What a wonderful home to rent! This home had everything you need and was so clean! Hosts are so thoughtful in everything they have done to make a memorable stay. We absolutely loved the outdoor fire pit and game room. What a nice way to end our day and create family memories! Do not hesitate to rent this Airbnb, it is as fabulous! Wonderful location for us as we wanted to hike off Rte 311. Very comfortable bed. All the amenities we needed. A little better privacy curtains would be nice as neighbor spends a lot of time on their porch and can see into your kitchen

The farm was an amazing experience! The animals are very friendly and the views are breathtaking. The camper was very cozy and well stocked. We met quite a few locals who were so friendly and kind. We bought sweets from the bakery down the road and visited the little cafe for coffee which was delicious.

Such a wonderful weekend, so peaceful- and the scenery is breathtaking. The house itself felt just like home- well, if home was completely devoid of chaos. My friends and I were so lucky to have such a cozy place to create memories and enjoy nature.
