Cottage vacation rentals in Costa Mesa

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage—it was the perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The location was ideal, with plenty of things to do nearby. We went wine tasting at Giracci Vineyards, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Xacalli Kitchen, and went hiking at Maple Springs! The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We especially loved that we could cook and bbq dinner outside during our stay. Communication with our host was seamless; she was incredibly sweet and responsive throughout our visit. Meeting her adorable Maltese was truly the highlight of the trip! Highly recommend this cottage; We’ll definitely be back!

This house is beautiful and just steps to the beach. The house is completely updated and very clean! The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. And the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived. The location of this house is the best part. It is located steps from not just the beach, but from the grocery store, coffee shops, tons of restaurants and the best Newport has to offer. We hit up several of their recommendations and loved them all. Everything was so close that we didn’t use our car the entire week. Don’t hesitate to book this rental. We can’t wait to come back. What a cute cottage! We enjoyed our stay in this cottage with so much charm! Everything we needed was there! Close to Disneyland as well! Very quiet area! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re In that area! Wonderful hosts as well!

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.

Sean’s place was beautiful! The gardens were lovely and I went to sleep with the scent of jasmine drifting through the window! Very walkable area with great restaurants close by. The beach is just down the street. The king bed was very comfortable and entire place was super clean. Sean was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Allie was a great host! She provided great resources and instructions for us for a helpful stay and things to do in the area. She is friendly, communicative and reponsive. The place was clean,clutter free and organized. The location was wonderful and super close to the beach! I would recommend staying here!

We had the BEST time at Chase’s place. We loved the island itself, but felt very lucky to find such a fun and personable place that was full of character and wonderful amenities. We loved the hot tub, the beach items, the games, the office capabilities, the yoga items, the great water pressure, and on and on. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Chase!

Jaime and Liz’s Airbnb is a tremendous location and getaway for anybody who enjoys proximity and a view of the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Niguel. Their description is spot-on accurate. They are also wonderful owners and very accommodating. We will definitely return.

John’s place was absolutely fantastic! We really loved our stay, and would come again without question! It was walkable to everything downtown Laguna has to offer, close walk to the beach, but it was really quite just what we were looking for. We had my baby with us, and they had a pack and play that looked new. The kitchen had everything you could think of for cooking up a great meal, the house was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the patio space was private and lovely to lounge in. We really enjoyed the zen tub that was in their little bath house out in the back. Super private, they did a great job with it, It feels “spa like” in there. All in all a great experience!

Ashlee’s place was exactly what we needed to spend the holidays with our family in Laguna Niguel! The location was prefect, her place was comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Super nice and super clean place to stay. Exactly as described. Questions and requests were answered immediately. (We needed a 3rd chair, it was brought directly on request.) Super friendly. Only the neighbor's dogs are pretty loud. If we come to Los Angeles again, we will come directly again

We were evacuated from our home due to the recent fires and needed a place to go to try to find some peace and normalcy. Drew understood our needs without me even having to tell him. He made things happen to allow us to check in earlier and waited for us to get to the house to ensure we had front row parking and had all our questions answered. He checked in from time to time during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was just what we needed. Steps from the beach with walkable restaurants. The time there helped get us back on our feet.

Cute little house in Balboa island. Great location. Close to main street with shops & food. Dog friendly, although we decided not to bring our dog. I truly appreciate airbnbs that allow dogs. Of note: there is quite a bit of construction one street over. Road is closed and this house is located on the detour route. Although temporary, was noisy & busy at times. Also, the one bathroom is located downstairs. We didnt mind, but keep in mind if use restroom frequently at night (bedrooms are upstairs).

We absolutely had such a great time at Cynthia's place! Amazing location! Such a great place for families and anyone who would love to enjoy Laguna Beach!

Very beautiful place nice and peaceful my Girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay very comfortable bed and an amazing shower and bath room very comfy and cozy home and Mary was a amazing host thank you so much for the beautiful home away from home experience I would highly recommend this place to any one if you are thinking about booking with Mary and this Gorgeous cottage absolutely do it you won't regret it

Favorite Airbnb ever! So comfy and cozy. Walking distance to many fun things. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great outdoor spaces to relax in. Extremely comfortable couch and beds. Loved the local recommendations. We had such a great time, thank you Carmen!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything matched the description and very clear instructions. Location was great, parking is always hard to find in Laguna so being able to get the Trolley from right outside was so convenient and nice to get around. It is on PCH so you do hear cars at night which we didn’t mind, we were still able to sleep with no issues. One thing to keep in mind is because there is no AC, the place does get really warm. We thought we would be fine because the weather wasn’t too bad but we came back to it being really stuffy. We had to open the windows to let the fresh breeze and it was okay after that. Overall loved the place and location, definitely recommend for anyone staying in Laguna Beach!

this place was perfect! super close to the beach and a beautiful view from the porch! the neighbors are super friendly. the place was very clean when we got there and check in/out was very simple and easy. there’s so much you can do that’s in walking distance. definitely will stay here again next time we visit california!
