Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cortez

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Franny's house and are so grateful to have stayed here during our visit in Cortez. The home was one of the cleanest AirBNBs we've stayed at, was so thoughtfully decorated and organized and had everything we needed in the kitchen, including lots of coffee. So many personal touches throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the shower was so relaxing. The backyard is huge with lots of space for kiddos to run around, and there are so many outdoor toys in the garage. The covered patio with chairs and picnic table was just perfect. Wonderful home, zero complaints, would absolutely stay here again if in Cortez. Franny's home is definitely one of our most favorite rentals we've stayed at! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gina’s! There was plenty of space for 6 adults. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the game room and outdoor area. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable! Gina was very responsive and communicated with us throughout our stay. Would recommend and look forward to staying again in the future!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! I absolutely 10/10 recommend this place and would stay here again! It's nicer than the photos and the host is delightful! Such a great location for exploring and seeing National Parks in the region.

Lovely home enjoyed every aspect of it. The kitchen very well stocked plenty of linens extra blankets fans in every room. The TVs were amazing. I would suggest it to anyone who didn't mind a little bit of a drive but that gave us the privacy and was excellent.

Thanks for a great place to stay, again, for us and our pups!!! The weather was perfect this past weekend, and our pups totally loved the yard, as usual. Loved everything in the house!!! Always warm and welcoming and always have everything we need!! We had a few struggles with the TV Spectrum remote, but finally managed just fine. Thanks again!!!!

The Salt of the Earth Ranch is great. Chelsea was a fantastic host and the home has wonderful views. We were doing a family guys trip to the area and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. As outdoorsmen, the wildlife you could see from the back porch was pretty great. From mule deer, to prairie dogs, and even jack rabbits hopping around the yard, it was really great to go along with the mountain views. I would highly recommend if in the Durango area and looking for a place a little off the beaten path.

The Airbnb was clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent and extras left for us to use were much appreciated! Thank you for hosting and making our family vacation memorable! We enjoyed our stay! The coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal was perfect!

We've stayed here several times and it's always great! This home is just secluded enough to let you know that you're out of town---but only a few minutes to go in for dinner or whatever. You won't go wrong staying here. Great hosts!!

Beautiful working sheep and cattle ranch. Views are spectacular. The inside as fantastic with antiques, two beds, nice carpeting and ranch feel. Dogs and horse are so friendly and hosts were so gracious. Close to Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and Mountain Ute Casino . Cortez has great restaurants and friendly atmosphere with Farmers Market and interesting stores. Makes for a wonderful trip in beautiful Southwest Colorado.

My spouse and I have stayed at 25 to 30 Airbnb's in the past six years or so. Michelle's Airbnb is the best Airbnb that we have ever stayed at. Michelle is very friendly and provided us with very useful information about visiting Canyons of the Ancients national monument. Her property is complete with a medicine wheel, labyrinth, and small pond with koi fish. Michelle was a fabulous host. she was very warm, friendly and welcoming, explaining in detail how to get to her favorite trail, Sand Canyons inside the Canyo s of the Ancient. As she happened to be baking that day. she offered us a lovely loaf of bread with home made jam. What a treat. We had a lovely visit with her on our 2 night there a d loved her exquisite garden, the Bear den that was ever so comfortable and lived visiting her spiritual, relaxing home and gardens! Highly recommend her wonderful spot for 2 a d she also has cottages on the property for more people. Hope to return for sure!

It was such a lovely place. Was in impression it would be very small but was perfect size. Endless views. Sitting out and letting our toddler play is the best memory from this place.

We loved our stay at the Ranch. The place had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space and room to spread out. It was clean, nicely decorated and liked just like the photos. We had a group of 12 adults there to meet for a mediation and sacred site week. It was perfect. There are great places close by too to hike, eat and relax. Beautiful views and outdoor space too. My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Next time we’ll be sure to make a stop and Telluride again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to our family we are so grateful!!! 🖤 the Anderson family !!!

This is a very rustic gem away from everything, I absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was and I’ve never seen so many stars at night in my life! Elena was incredibly friendly and the hospitality was phenomenal!

Very quiet in a small little camp ground right on the river. Ideal for the locations we wanted to visit right in middle. Would go again

Beautiful and cozy cabin, I will recommend to anyone visiting the area. The cabin was clean and had everything you could think of accessible if needed. Anne was very responsive and great with communication. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful area! Make sure to bring warm clothing and blankets regardless of weather! Super pretty with the river and a nice place to stop if you’re on an adventure! Friendly town as well.

We had a great stay at Debra's place! It was a last minute booking that was filled fast! It fit our big family and had everything we needed to cook at home!

We initially had a little trouble finding the cabin: the Google map attached took us up the neighbor's driveway. But after fumbling around a little we found it and moved in. (We stayed a week). Everything was as advertised: the kitchen facilities were fine (hot plate, microwave, refrigerator;no stove). The shower worked well, bed was comfortable, good chairs and tables. The single large room was set up well, and didn't feel cramped. No closet or other storage. We enjoyed being in it, and especially enjoyed sitting out in the rocking chairs on the porch. The WIFI was good. Lighting could have been better. Even with numerous lamps spread around, it was still a little dim for reading. The location for us was fabulous- every morning we walked up the dirt road 5 minutes to the Boggy Draw trailhead and walked a different trail before breakfast. We drove out to Hovenweep, to Mesa Verde, and one day made a long loop over Lizard Head Pass. Overall: High quality rustic cabin in the woods.
