Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Como

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

Luisa e Bruno sono stati molto accoglienti e gentilissimi. All'arrivo ci hanno offerto da bere e sono stati sempre molto disponibili e flessibili con gli orari in base alle nostre esigenze. Luisa ci ha preparato una colazione varia e abbondante facendoci sentire come a casa. L'appartamento è molto pulito e spazioso. La casa si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla ma vicina al centro di Almenno. Consigliamo vivamente l'alloggio di Luisa e Bruno.

Für alle, die eine gut angebundene, sehr saubere und großzügige Unterkunft in der Nähe von Mailand suchen, der perfekte Ort. Deborah ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgebering die jeden Morgen ein großartiges Frühstück frisch zubereitet hat. Vielen Dank Deborah, wir kommen sicher wieder.

Très bon accueil de Mario dés notre arrivée, il nous a recommandé un bon restaurant à proximité. Le logement était au delà de nos attentes, très propre, comme neuf. Cerise sur le gâteau, le petit déjeuner le matin très copieux. Je recommande vivement cette étape à proximité du lac de Côme.

So glad I chose to stay here! The room was spacious, bright, airy, and beautifully decorated. I loved waking up to birdsong each morning. The private bathroom was also very nice. My favorite part was the garden—spending time there with visits from the cats and dogs felt magical. Ettore was super friendly and helpful, taking time to explain everything and offering great tips for sightseeing and restaurants.. This was definitely my favorite place I stayed during my two-week trip in Italy.

Marco's place was beautiful, with an amazing view of Lake Como. His parents, who greeted us upon arrival, were incredibly warm and caring. Even though they didn’t speak English, we still managed to have some great conversations, their kindness truly bridged the language gap. The BBQ in the garden was a fantastic touch and made for a perfect evening experience. Highly recommended!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Alles was super! Sauber keit war auch sehr gut! Empfehlenswert!

Besonders gut hat mir die Lage der Unterkunft in dem wunderschönen Örtchen Carona gefallen. Auch wenn man dafür einige Serpentinen kurven muss, der Blick auf den Lago Lugano, die benachbarten Berge und Täler, das viele Grün der Gärten und die schönen Häuser sind es wert. Im Haus habe ich mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt; Barbara spricht super Deutsch und Englisch - die Kommunikation kein Problem. Im Zimmer hätte ich lange am Fenster oder auf dem Balkon sitzen und einfach in die Landschaft hinausschauen können... Ein kleines Refugium! Ach ja, und der Kaffee am Morgen schmeckte hervorragend!

Wir haben 2 Nächte be Elisa übernachtet und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist super schön und sauber. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles!

Un lugar muy lindo y cerca del aeropuerto recomendado

L'alloggio di Rosalba è dotato di tutti in confort che possiamo cercare. Purtroppo ci siamo rimasti poche ore. Il self check in comodo e intuitivo, microonde per scaldare il biberon alla nostra bimba, attenzione di Rosalba a tutti i dettagli. Ottima vicinanza all'aeroporto.

One of the best Airbnb I've stayed - Ludovica picked me up at the train station under heavy rain, made me breakfast in her beautiful living room, and showed me all her beautiful painting collection she found in China and the paintings passed on from her father who was a painter. The location is perfect if you're looking for a restful stay near Milan. They've got a beautiful canal to walk along, and the only restaurant in this small village was the best one I've had in Milan - even changing the lunch tasting menu every day.

Bardzo polecamy. Czysto, zadbane, w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Roberto jest bardzo milym i pomocnym czlowiekiem, a jego wlasnoreczne wypieki sniadaniowe niesamowicie smaczne.

I can strongly recommend C'era Una Volta to anyone planning on visiting Varenna, or the Lake Como area more generally. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood at the top of a hill overlooking the lake valley. While the steepness of the hill may be daunting, it is easily accessed using the local (D21) bus system and the (free!) night bus service, which stops about a 5 minute walk from the B&B. I found the room to be quite comfortable, even if I wasn't the target audience for the old-timey theming. The breakfast was complete, with cereal, fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, etc. But the star of the stay was Alessandro. Even before I arrived, he reached out with extensive information on the best way to get to the location from Varenna. When I arrived, I was immediately offered a drink and conversation. He refused to let me leave in the morning without breakfast, even though this meant preparing the meal two hours in advance. It's hard to even imagine a more proactive (yet tactful) host.

I stayed at Paula’s listing for 6 nights with 3 children. The place is lovely and clean and has all amenities needed within a B&B. It was approx 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from a grocery shop. This was a great base to stay for visiting Milan, Monza, Como, Bergamo and others. The breakfast provided was excellent and having Wi-Fi was a plus point with the children. I would definitely recommend this listing for families who need a nice Northern Italian base.

Quand on vient ici ce n’est pas seulement pour le logement mais aussi pour l’ambiance qui y règne. Lucas et sa famille nous on accueilli chez eux, ici le mot famille prend tout son sens. Le petit déjeuner, la vue, la possibilité de cuisiner sont vraiment des plus. Si nous revenons dans la région nous savons où aller.

Acceuil excellent. Chambre propre, impeccable. Parking intérieur privé sécurisé. petit déjeuner copieux excellent. Eau disponible a volonté. Hote très gentil et de bon conseils.

We needed a place to stay for our last night in Italy close to the airport. This spot was ideal, Gabriele was very helpful and responsive on messages after booking, Gabrielle was kind enough to collect us from Ferno Train Station to take us back to the b&b. Gabriele also took us to the local supermarket and to the airport at 6am for our flight very reasonable price. The grounds of the b&b were lovely, very clean all round, bed was comfy and got the best sleep we had all week whilst in Italy. On our last night we just wanted to relax and the TV had Netflix which was ideal. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay again if we return in the future. Daniele and Sonia were lovely Hosts and wie immediatly felt welcome at their House. They took time for us to give us helpful advice and recomendations about places to visit. The breakfast was perfect with something new and delicious everyday to look forward to. Everything was very clean and the room had everything we needed. We had great stay and are definitely visiting again :-) !!

We stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer! Elena was super kind and helpful, she showed us everything we needed to know. The place was also very enjoyable and the view is breathtaking! Highly recommend.

La Casetta è un appartamento molto pulito e curato in ogni dettaglio. Sembra davvero di essere a casa. È molto silenzioso e le stanze sono ampie e luminose. Francesca è gentilissima e premurosa . La colazione è abbondante e di ottima qualità. Spero di poter soggiornare di nuovo in questa elegante struttura.
