“My stay could not have gone better. The location of the house is perfect to explore Faversham and the wider area. The house itself is comfortable and well equipped, as well as being delightfully clean. Peter is a welcoming and thoughtful host, with speedy communication. Five stars all round!”
Blind Cottage is a newly renovated, open plan, self contained annexe. It is wonderfully light, benefiting from large windows and French doors throughout. Relax in the wonderful roll top bath, curl up in the conservatory or enjoy a coffee on the patio which overlooks our wood. The perfect stepping stone to explore the Garden of England.
“We stayed at Millie’s cottage as a surprise weekend swag for my husband’s birthday. Millie was very responsive throughout and even decorated the living room with a birthday banner as part of the surprise. As other guests have noted, the cottage is even nicer than the photos in real life - very clean, spacious, a great mix of modern and cosy and the wood burner is perfect for the evenings (we stayed during a storm and it was lovely to curl up in front of it at night!). The extra touches - breakfast and dinner essentials, bathrobes, a well-equipped kitchen, tips on places to visit nearby and a high-chair for our toddler - were all very much appreciated. It was also reassuring that the hosts live in the adjoining house, so any issues they were close by. A great stay, and highly recommend!”
Set in the North Kent Downs area of outstanding natural beauty, this 19th Century barn offers comfortable accommodation, sun terrace, tennis court, hot tub and outdoor heated swimming pool (summer months only) in quiet and peaceful surroundings overlooking open fields and woodlands. Easy access to all that Kent offers with Canterbury and Whitstable 15 mins drive. Ideally located for a stopover to or from the Continent all year round with Eurotunnel and Dover Port c35 mins away.
“Beautiful cottage in really picturesque surroundings. We totally relaxed, using the good sized pool and the hot tub overlooking the fields, and having morning coffee In the sun on the patio. The cottage is spotless (if you don’t mind the occasional beetle, but it is the countryside!) and has absolutely everything you could need. Lucy and Alan were brilliant hosts who give you privacy but are there if you need them and have good tips on local places to eat. There are some good pubs nearby and we can recommend the Wagon and Horses, about a ten minute drive away. Easy access to the coast, we walked a lot in the day and came back to soak in the tub, head out for dinner, and come back to watch something on the projector screen - perfect!”
