Apartment in Sablon
5 out of 5 average rating, 11 reviewsSablon III. 2 bedroom apartment
What you see is what you get with Sandy’s apartment. My friend recommended the location and Sandy’s place was perfectly situated for walking to all the great spots and holiday markets near the Grand Sabon. The area restaurants are fabulous as is the shopping. Sandy was diligent with communicatios and instructions and quick to reply when necessary. One thing to note is the elevator is tiny and can only fit one to two adults without luggage. So you will need to walk three flights of stairs or take several trips in lift. Also the sofa bed is in need of repair; many of the support straps were broken. If you dont like firm, thick pillows bring your own. Otherwise everything was terrific and easy.

The apartment was in a great location and Dan was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this listing!

Apartment in Saint-Gilles
4.84 out of 5 average rating, 143 reviewsApartment raised basement
The flat has a lovely layout for one or two. The heating is up to snuff. What an amazing dvd and vhs collection... e.g. twin peaks on vhs, 11 tapes. Great books too, literature in French and English... comic books too -- the belgian experience. Yes, the shower and bathroom were sparkling clean. Washing machine was top-notch, and when I mentioned that I didn't have detergent Christine responded within minutes and provided a cup of it. complete privacy, felt sheltered from the street surprisingly well

Apartment in Elsene
4.96 out of 5 average rating, 190 reviewsStylish bright apartment with balcony
We had 3 nights at Mia‘s place and could have easily spent more time. The flat was beautifully furnished, the beds comfortable, everything was super clean. The area was quiet and very picturesque. Mia was a good communicator. There are steep stairs to the flat, which was fine for us, but might be a point to consider for some. We would come back.

Apartment in Bruxelles
4.83 out of 5 average rating, 150 reviewsGreat modern, spacious 2 room apartment, 1000 Brx
Yossif’s place was exactly how we were expecting it to be. Located in a very nice area, in a walkable distance from the Gare du Nord (10 minutes) from which we took a direct train to Bruges, from the Grand-Place (15 minutes) and from the Yser Metro Station, which has a direct connection to Gare Midi (Flibco destination from Charleroi Airport). It is also close to good restaurants and bars, supermarkets and pharmacies. The house was perfect, all rooms were very clean and comfortable and provided with all the amenities needed for an excellent stay. Yossif is very precise in the instructions, kind, available and responsive. I very recommend his place for short and long stays in Bruxelles. A presto!

Apartment in City of Brussels
4.67 out of 5 average rating, 494 reviewsGrand Place Apart
The apartment was wonderful. Close to restaurants, shops, tourists spots, yet still quiet and private. The place could use a deep clean but it was not dirty by any means. The bed and couch were super comfortable. Marcelo was very responsive when we had questions and very quick to respond. Would definitely book here or with him again in the future.

Apartment in Marolles
4.63 out of 5 average rating, 16 reviewsnuma | Deluxe Room in Central Brussels
The apartment was lovey, and bigger than we expected. The soaking tub was fabulous after long days of walking in the cold. Having the second room was helpful, as our toddler had his own space to sleep. The fully digital check-in and key system made everything simple and clear. Very walkable location. We would definitely stay again and recommend Numa Lief to anyone!

Apartment in Brussel
4.79 out of 5 average rating, 167 reviewsSpacious apartment in the heart of the great square
We stayed a couple of nights at Alya’s and had a wonderful stay. It is so conveniently located. The apartment is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing to note is the steep flight of steps leading up to the apartment. Also, the bedroom faces the main street so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

Apartment in Dansaert
4.8 out of 5 average rating, 30 reviewsOlives Garden - Comfortable studio
Location was very good and practical. We could walk to most of places. The outside was a little loud because of the week just before Christmas, but generally no problems for sleeping. Grégory was also nice in messages. Thank you very much!

Apartment in Rixensart
4.7 out of 5 average rating, 46 reviewsStudio with separate room
Brigitte Studio in Rixansard is the best affordable apartment studio in the area. Well located, fully furnished, all kitchen appliances available to use. Brigitte is the best host ever, she offered my 21 months son a baby cribs, she always check on us daily to make sure we don't miss anything. She even went above and beyond to give us a free private parking to make sure our rental car is always safe. The apartment is old house, but Brigitte tried her best to fully furnish it and kept it clean. I will definitely come back. Thank you Brigitte

Apartment in Anderlecht
4.82 out of 5 average rating, 141 reviewsApartment with a hot tub
Rim made it easier for us to check in as we were able to get in early to drop off our luggage and enter the bathroom without having to wait for the scheduled time. The apartment is as shown in the photos, it was very clean and rim was very nice to us. The room was as it appeared in the photos but we miss a full size bed. And although the kitchen was very well equipped, we think a little olive oil would be good for cooking and for Spanish tourists. For the rest, there was a 10 min metro stop, Midi station 15-20 min walk and downtown 20-25 min walk. In the neighborhood there is almost nothing, we were surprised that there was not a super market or bars beyond kebabs. But the location seemed right to go to the station to take the trains to Brujas and Ghent and to move in general. The staircase is very steep. The apartment in general value for money is above the average of many we have visited.

Villa in Wavre
4.9 out of 5 average rating, 31 reviewsSplendid nature cottage 20km from Brussels
Very nice house, price-quality ratio was good. Can understand what people are saying about the kitchen would be too small. This didn't bother me myself. Very nice people and a nice area. The accommodation was also very private, despite the fact that the owner is close. So don't let yourself be stopped for that reason.

Absolutely incredible airbnb, perhaps one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware we could need. Really felt like a home and not just a bed to sleep in. Nancy was very responsive and proactive for any issues that encountered.

Your guide to Bruxelles
All About Brussels
As Belgium’s capital city and the birthplace of Art Nouveau, Brussels has an air of European sophistication that embraces artistic expression. The city is home to numerous fountains, museums dedicated to musical instruments, a theme park with miniature replicas of famous monuments, and a center that celebrates comics and graphic novels. Although the architecture, art, and shopping are world class, the city’s diverse history and magic are best captured in its food. As you stroll down the cobblestone streets in Brussels’ historic districts, you’ll pass chocolate shops displaying handmade bonbons, smell sugary stroopwafels in the air, and spot street vendors selling cones of crispy frites.
The central square, or Grand Palace, in the medieval central district is a great place to start exploring. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by ornate buildings from the 17th century. You can also take in the gardens, monuments, and museums of Cinquantenaire Park and the upscale mansions and gothic churches of Sablong. In the hip neighborhood of Marolles, working-class residents sip coffee in unfussy cafes. Along the way you can snag a mitraillette, a Belgian sandwich with meat and fries, a perfect snack to enjoy on the lawn of Duden Park.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Bruxelles
Weather in Brussels is relatively mild aside from its chilly winters. With around nine days of rain each month, it's always a good idea to pack warm layers and an umbrella. If you’re staying during April or May, visit the rare plants and flowers in full bloom at the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, a 19th-century Art Nouveau complex that spans 270,000 square feet. Locals fill up the city’s squares and beer gardens in the summer months, but you’ll be far from the only one exploring the narrow streets. Between September and November, mussels are in season, but you’ll need warmer layers and sturdy footwear to keep your balance on the city’s wet cobbles.
The cold weather and dark evenings in the winter months do not stop events and celebrations. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the city is transformed for the Winter Wonders Festival with light shows in Grand Place, a Christmas market with outposts all over the city, an ice rink, a fairground, and stalls selling mulled wine and Belgian beer.
Top things to do in Bruxelles
Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium
In Brussels’ Royal District, you’ll find six stately art museums with more than 20,000 works on display. You’ll be able to view masterpieces from 15th-century Flemish painters, a museum dedicated to the works of Belgium’s most famous surrealist, and influential fin-de-siècle exhibits.
Marché du Midi
There’s a wealth of open-air markets throughout Brussels throughout the week, and you’ll likely stumble upon one if you spend any time exploring the city. One of the largest markets in Europe is Marché du Midi next to the central train station, where you’ll find stalls selling fresh produce, spices, prepared foods, and baked goods. For vintage trinkets, clothes, housewares, and books, check out the Jeu de Balle Flea Market, which takes place daily in the Marolles neighborhood.
Atomium
Originally built for the World’s Fair in 1958, this eye-catching metal structure in Heysel Park has become an iconic Brussels landmark. Head up the elevator and inside through tunneled walkways that look like a science-fiction set and learn about the building’s history via a permanent exhibition before admiring panoramic views of the Brussels skyline through four of its nine sphere-shaped points.
