Awesome Sunsets! - Skaneateles Lake!!

KimberlyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
One of my top two favorite rental spaces to date! Dan has created a space that met any need we had. Every last detail and inch of the space has been so well thought out. A bottle of wine was generously waiting for us upon our arrival. Dan is very thorough in his instructions and communication. He reached out during our stay to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any issues. The setting is so peaceful whether you are up around the cottage or down by the lake. Our weather wasn’t great, so unfortunately time on the lake itself didn’t happen. We hope to visit again and be able to make use of the kayaks. Fantastic find if you’re looking to get away! Thanks again

Charming Barn apt/Skaneateles farm. 140 acres.

CorinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Franks place was super cute! I never met, saw, or communicated with him but he had help living on the property who were amazing and kind. The space was very cozy and the property itself was beautiful. The only thing we didnt like was that there wasn’t a sponge in the kitchen and a lot of the dishes were dusty and sitting for a while or not clean from the last person. That is super minor though. Overall 5 stars for sure and would visit again.

The Kester Homestead

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A best-ever Airbnb experience for graduation weekend. Clearly this would be a suitable venue for a variety of event types. It might be the greatest reception barn of the world, we looked in though didn’t use or need it for our small group. It was a super choice for our overnight stay and hosting a few friends and family members of the graduates. All felt welcome as if at a private home and farm. The host was friendly and helpful.

Private Apartment: Organic & Fragrance-free

O'ConnorRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed our stay. Erika and Jeremy went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and comfortable. Erika's granola was amazing, and Jeremy's coffee satisfied my husband's coffee needs. My husband is a coffee connoisseur, so he recognized a great cup of coffee! Jeremy knows his stuff when it comes to coffee. The location of this place worked perfectly for us. We spent our days at wineries and restaurants, returning to sleep at night and then head out again in the morning. The location allowed us easy access to all the sights we wished to visit, and Erika and Jeremy's restaurant recommendations were spot on.

Knoll Top - a bit of home in the Finger Lakes

PaulineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Meg and Ivan’s place was wonderful! Very well equipped kitchen and thanks for the few things in the fridge. I didn’t have to worry about running out for things. The house is elegant, yet functional and practical. It’s so easy to stay there. Thank you for being SO flexible with us for our last minute issue. I’m a pianist and played the piano a bit. That was good family time. Thank you. If I could give six stars I would!

Green Room at The Gauger House

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I was lucky enough to stumble upon this property while I was driving from Indiana back home to Maine. It was a quick, one night stay, but I was grateful for a comfortable bed in a beautiful setting. It was fun to see the garden coming to life for the season - I’m sure it’s stunning in the heart of summer! The fireflies at night in the fields and gardens were out-of-this-world magical. The property was perfect at the end of a long day of driving for me and my pup to stretch our legs and go for a quick walk. Thanks, Gabi & Mike!

Charming 1830s Farmhouse

ArtRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Livia’s house was a great place to stay. We loved the “farmhouse” feel. Three of our favorite features were the floors, the front porch and the furniture. The floors were exactly what you would see in a farmhouse. Not at all fancy but really cool. The seat on the front porch with the campfire wood underneath might just be an idea that I duplicate, especially the back. We loved the furniture with farm books laid on top and the kitchen table was a favorite gathering spot. Our granddaughter couldn’t decide which stool she should sit in since each one was different. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for accommodating us!!!

The Farmhouse at Aurora Brewing Company!

HeleneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's a beautiful property, exactly how described. I was unaware how completely remote it was, but that should not deter anyone from staying here. I had a busy few days that kept me driving back and forth to Ithaca. I would have loved to have spent more time just hanging around the property as it was comfortable, spacious and homey. We loved the horses in the back! It really added to our days there as we checked on them often to say hello! Mark was responsive when called upon but really didn't need to communicate with him other than to say 'we are here' and 'we are leaving'. If you need a place to detach from the world, this is definitievely the spot.

The view of the lake from the ample (and shaded!) porch was worth the booking alone! What a special property, perfect for six adults and two infants. Hope to book again next summer!

Farmhouse Stay- open spaces & pasture views

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hands down, this rental was the best airbnb experience I have ever had. Carrie goes above in beyond in the spots where you may have forgot a thing or two, (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss picks) but also has clearly put effort into the thought and quality of products chosen. Linens, throw blankets, dish towel; All were super quality fabrics and there were plenty to go around. We love how close (15 mins) this rental is to Cortland, so if you’re looking to explore the local area - Look no further. The pictures show exactly what to expect; The house is older and located on a farm - but make no mistake - the house is as well loved and taken care of as their animals. We loved waking up and seeing the animals, and even got to enjoy some of the farm fresh eggs (THANK YOU CARRIE!). The dishes & cookware were plentiful and all of high quality. I cannot emphasize this enough; Carrie makes this place what it is. 5 stars for airbnb. Endless praises for the perfect family weekend.

Strigo Farmhouse

AmyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The farmhouse is an exceptional place: we rented the entire farmhouse for us and extended family for my daughter’s college graduation, as we are all several hours away. It was great to stay out of the city and have a space where we could all celebrate together instead of individual hotel rooms. We did dinner at the vineyard loft the first night, which was delicious and perfect for all of us who had already traveled significant distance and did not want to get back in the car for dinner. Would highly recommend! One note: for anyone with an older, less mobile guest (we had my 84-year-old mom with us), all bedrooms in the main farmhouse are upstairs and the staircase is steep and challenging for those with more limited mobility. I know there also is an in-law suite - I am not sure if that offers rooms on the ground level. Thank you, Ana Maria, for sharing your beautiful home with us - it was perfect for what we wanted and needed.

Welcoming One bedroom in law suite at Strigo.

CathyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This place was incredibly clean and cozy set on a beautiful vineyard in the country. The setting was very peaceful. I do think it should be noted that you do have to walk through the second bedroom to get to the only bathroom. Just something to be aware of when booking.
