The flat is right in the middle of everything - we loved the location :-). There was a tiny problem with the check-in, but Adriana helped right away and was very friendly and helpful. The flat was very clean. We absolutely loved the balcony :-)

We have travelled to Madeira over 20 times and what a fantastic apartment to stay in !!! Very spacious , clean and close to all amenities. Betty was superb in communicating from when we booked, while we were there and upon check out . Will definitely be back and booking again . We were a family of 7 ( all adults) and felt right at home . Truly a remarkable gem in Madeira. We would highly recommend Betty and her incredible apartment !!!!

“B View” exceeded our expectations as a clean and very modern apartment in a quaint town near Funchal. The view is spectacular, and there are restaurants and bars, plus grocery stores and shops within easy walking distance. We were happy to have the extra space and ability to do laundry. Having a reserved garage space for our rental car (highly recommended in Madeira) was a big bonus. Hosts were responsive and instructions were clear. Highly recommended booking this apartment if it’s available!

the terrace/balcony was the main star of the apartment! very spacious and had very comfortable seating to enjoy the beautiful weather and the view of the ocean. one of the kitchen appliances (hand mixer) is not working, but that was mostly it from the negative side

the flat is in the centre of the city, walkable to many attractions. it is very quiet and close to many shops and restaurants.

I spent almost a month at Emanuel’s place, and it was an incredible stay! The location couldn’t be better—you’re right in the heart of Funchal, with plenty to do and everything you need close by. Being so central, it can get a bit noisy due to the nearby square, but that’s the price you pay for such a convenient spot. The apartment itself is wonderful, with amazing natural light and a refreshing breeze that flows through. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be in the center of the action!

At first I did not think much about it. but then I absolutely loved it! right by the water, an easy walk to a very cool bar on the right and a place to go swimming, great vibe, and another easy walk to a nice village on the left. It's so relaxing, easy going, authentic. My wife and i had a great time. I recommend the location most of all.

Casa Dos Francelhos is a true paradise on earth! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt at home thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the host, Antonio. His attention to every detail made our stay unforgettable. The house is stunning, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Antonio is a man with a big heart, always ready to help and ensure that everyone feels special. We highly recommend Casa Dos Francelhos to anyone looking for a place full of peace, charm, and authentic Portuguese hospitality!

The house is very spacious, nice, clean and maintained. It has everything you need for a longer stay. Our kids loved the pool. The place is rather quiet (just some dog barking occasionally) and small but beautiful. There are restaurants and a cafe with mini market. A larger supermarket is about 10-15 minutes away. A rental car makes sense if you live in Porto da Cruz and want to make excursions. There are also buses. The car can be parked on the premises. Access to the house is possible without extremely steep roads (as it often exists in Madeira). We felt very comfortable in the house for 2 weeks and can highly recommend it.

Four of us travel much around the world and often use airbnb but we have never stayed at such an amazing and beautiful place as Joao’s house. It’s decorated and furnished with comfortable and athletically pleasing ways. The house looks new and has the great view of the Atlantic. Even though he could not meet us due to his business, we felt his warm and hearty welcome with a large plate of fruits, local cookies, eggs and a bottle of local wine. With the pool tickets and aquarium tickets, we enjoyed experiencing this

Adriana's place is amazing, from the location to the beautiful surroundings. Everything is exactly as described. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need, and the location feels private, giving you a sense of being in the wild. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views make it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Shops and restaurants are reachable by car, so it's convenient while still feeling like a getaway. Additional note: Spiders and other insects might sneak inside (possibly because we left the bedroom window open at night). This wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but it’s worth considering if you’re very afraid of bugs. For nature lovers, it’s just part of the charm!

Filipe is a great host, he communicated well and gave us many good tips for things to do and good restaurants. The house is very nice and exactly as displayed on the pictures. It was very clean and centrally located to do day trips from. I highly recommend.

Very nice apartement close to the airport and all nice spots in the island. The ocean is right front your balcony. Easy check-in, great instructions, you have there everything you need :) thank for accommodating me!

The apartment was clean comfortable and a good size - it's in a good location within walking distance to supermarkets, bars ,restaurants and other attractions of Funchal - communication with Christine was good she was responsive and helpful, check in was easy - we arrived early and were able to leave our bags at the apartment which was helpful- I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay centrally in Funchal.

It was my first time in Airbnb. I enjoyed my stay immensely thank to great weather, surroundings and a very comfortable accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't hire a car so needed to access and exit via stairs, rather than through the garage.. just something to be mindful about if you have mobility issues. There are lifts in the building and the apartment and terrace are excellent. Barely any noise from neighbours. Property is well equipped inc. hairdryers, towels, loungers, air-conditioning and fans. would definitely book again.

This was my 3rd stay here. An excellent place which is in a great location, with it being fairly quiet and only a 5/10 minute walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Rooms very good, Kitchen seemed to have what we needed, and the terrace is superb. Can sit out in the sun or in the shade, lovely for a quiet breakfast looking at the sea. Around a 20-25 minute walk to the old town but buses and taxis easy and cheap enough if you cannot go that far. Will more than likely be back next year. 10/10
