Ribeira Brava vacation rentals

My family and friends had a fantastic time at Ana Vitoria’s place. We were travelling with 2 toddlers so the baby play room was an absolute hit. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the beds were comfy, there’s a dedicated space to dry clothes, there’s huge balcony upstairs is super cozy, and overall the place feels like you at right at home. Ana personally welcomed us, made us a beautiful welcome basket with many delicious and local treats inside, showed us around the house, and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do in and around Rib. Brava as well as Madeira. She always responded promptly and was super helpful with all our questions. Driving to the house is a bit tricky so definitely watch the video she sends you so you have an easy time locating the house. Thanks for such an amazing stay, Ana.

This accomodation is a gem in the middle of the nature but also very close to the town. Really peacefull place where you can relax and see a beautifull view to the ocean. Very comfortable and big tent with a clean bathroom. Thank you for the experience. 😊

At first, we were a little skeptical because the place had only a few reviews. We then decided to do it anyway and our stay was simply excellent! The place was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. You felt comfortable from the first moment. Particularly impressive was the breathtaking view, which made the stay even more unforgettable. Almada, the hostess, was very friendly, helpful and always available. If you have any questions or minor concerns, she responded immediately and found solutions. We can fully recommend this property Only the neighbors' dog barks a lot, but that's quite manageable. Thank you for the great time!

A lovely, modern villa in a great location. Being up on the hill it was very private and quiet. Pleasant walk into Ribeira Brava in the morning to get fresh bread etc. Steep return but ok for moderately fit. We chose not to have the pool heated as it was mid-late May (and it was quite expensive) but it was very cold. All the rooms were lovely and spacious with fabulous sliding doors onto balconies/verandahs which had stunning views across the town to the ocean; shaded in the morning and sunny in the afternoon/evening due to the villas aspect. Kitchen leading directly onto the outdoor dining area made eating 'at home' easy and pleasurable. Beds were very comfortable and everybody slept well. Overall 5* and I would happily recommend it.

The place is very nice, new and comfortable and I had a great stay. My highlight was the balcony though. I loved just taking in the view and watching the sunset. Cristiano helped me out with every question I had. The location does require to have a car though, since the street to the town center is very long and steep.

This is a beautiful new apartment equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Monique was an incredibly kind and helpful host!

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

We booked this apartment last-minute while on the way to the airport — and arrived late at night, not knowing exactly what to expect. But in the morning, we were absolutely amazed by how lucky we got! First of all, the terrace is huge, and the view is simply stunning. Even better — you get that view from every room. Check-in was super easy, even with our late-night arrival. It’s also really close to the airport — the taxi took around 30 minutes. Parking on-site was a big plus . Would definitely stay here again.
