Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Buzzards Bay

Shannon’s place was perfect for our Christmas visit with our son. Clean, spacious, great location, fully stocked, and made the perfect place to host our son and his Copper Mountain colleagues for Christmas!

The Swiss House is an ideal retreat for families seeking a harmonious blend of comfort and connection. The expansive open-concept living area downstairs fostered a sense of togetherness, while the well-appointed kitchen made preparing family meals a breeze. Nestled away from the hustle, yet conveniently close to amenities, the house offers a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. A quick drive to Mayflower Beach added to the allure, making our stay nothing short of delightful.

We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Celio's place was absolutely beautiful and fit the pictures provided. Celio was responsive and provided anything that was forgotten. The kitchen is well stocked which was important as my group wanted to cook during our stay. The roads leading to the airbnb are a bit bumpy as a general heads up but does not at all make the stay any less enjoyable. Neighbors enjoy playing music but we actually enjoyed it as well! Overall, great stay and I would stay again if I returned.

A wonderful place that felt even larger than in the pictures, surrounded by beautiful scenery, offering complete privacy, and the perfect touch of a delicious hot tub experience under a snowy night.

What a beautiful clean, spacious home. My children and grandchildren had a wonderful time. A quick trip to Nantucket was a blast. The host was so easy to communicate with and wanted us to enjoy and not worry about cleaning after we left. I highly recommend this beautiful home. We will definitely come back.

My friend and I had a lovely two-night stay at Julie's place. The house is the perfect retreat—peaceful, cozy, and beautifully located. We especially enjoyed the evenings by the wood-burning stove and long, leisurely breakfasts on the porch while listening to the river. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bedding—we both slept so well! I would definitely love to come back someday with my husband to enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as everything else the Berkshires has to offer. Bert and Nancy's place was way above our expectations. Bert greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The property was beautiful, peaceful and serene. The inside was exactly the way it was pictured. The inside had a Zen feel. The inside was clean, spacious and everything you would need was there and available. Cute little touches were added throughout the room that were cute. I loved the light up birch tree. We didn't get a chance to walk the nature trail and wish we had. I am sure though it was beautiful. Bert had great communication. If you are looking for a retreat type place to get away this is your place. It was relaxing and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much. What a comfortable home for our family vacation in the area. Karen was welcoming and we were so appreciative of the fresh baked goods. Everything was set for our stay with enough linens for everyone. We ran into Karen a couple of times during our stay and always was delightful and open to help with any suggestions. We found the town quaint and what we needed from a bookstore to places to eat. Nice quick walk to the water for sunsets. Easy drive into Boston as well as up to Rockport and Gloucester. We even found it smooth to attend the 250 of Lexington and Concord. We loved our days starting with coffee and quiet comfort and relaxing in the evening around the table with our family for some games. Highly recommend this home! Thankful for our hosts!

I chose to stay at Donna's a second stay because I appreciate the quiet neighborhood and very, clean comfortable home. Communication with Donna is easy and friendly.

We had another wonderful weekend at Barbara & Chad's suite. We've stayed there multiple times and love it for our family of four. The hosts are always responsive and so very helpful. We also love the nearby Berkshire East Mountain resort and nearby local towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Erin's place is perfectly situated in downtown Plymouth. Restaurants and historical sites are within easy walking distance. Beds are super comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. Nice deck and a backyard with a fire pit and unique birdhouses.. It was cold and rainy during our stay (which is as to be expected in April), but Plymouth had loads to do. We particularly liked the Cordage Museum (where we spent a few hours talking with locals) and Plymouth's (free entry) Art Museum. We were impressed by how many beach parks Plymouth has. We came to participate in a 5K race on the Grace rail trail and hopefully will be back again next year! Thanks, Erin and family!

Susan’s place was quiet, clean and lovely. Close to town, but still in a wooded area. The apartment is well designed with everything you could need, including delicious coffee.

Immaculate, comfortable and accurately advertised. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. Close to nearby restaurants and beaches. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin was just what my girlfriend and I were looking for when searching for a cozy, relaxing, weekend getaway. Lydia’s communication was very appreciated giving clear directions to the location, helpful information about the cabin, and great local recommendations.

The owners were very responsive and I loved the privacy as I have never stayed in a cabin. The accommodations were nice and the place was warm, cozy clean and and felt relaxed. Although a little cold I did like leveraging the fireplace briefly… Ultimately, our only complaints were the area as there wasn’t much going on and on our end we didn’t over prepare. The cabin was definitely the highlight! We might visit again when the State Park is open. Best Regards, Mike R

My boyfriend and I were beyond ecstatic about this tiny cabin. Very clean and just as described. The comforts of home, outdoors. It was cold during our stay (there is no heat or AC) but extra blankets and plenty of firewood was provided! We saw otters, bald eagles, deer, blue jays and beautiful sunsets. We brought our electric scooters and scooted to the town of Ayer which was absolutely adorable! Highly recommend “Tiny’s” for breakfast, “Nashoba club pizza and taproom” and “Gibbet Hill Grill” check out Bancroft Castle while at Gibbet Hill Grill. We were very happy with our stay. Snacks and drinks were also provided at the cabin. Thank you for sharing your property with us! We’ll be back!

Perfect for a winter getaway! The cabin was so cozy and comfortable, and the location is beautiful and remote. The hot tub was a huge plus and the host was incredibly friendly and responsive

Kelly Anne's cottage was a wonderful, warm and comfortable place to spend the week. Everything was as described in her listing. Communication with Kelly Anne was easy and prompt. One day, the weather caused an icy surface on the private road by the house, and she immediately arranged for gravel to be spread on the road. We were looking for outdoor winter activities in the area, and they were plentiful. Prospect Montain is less than a mile away, and has great xcountry skiing and trails for snowshoeing. We also found good hiking trails in several places nearby. It's a short trip to Bennington for stores and restaurants and to learn about the interesting history in the area. We highly recommend Kelly Anne's cottage!

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

We have been coming back to the red house with our children every year for the past 7-8 years. It’s a magical, peaceful place, a place like no other. The cabin has everything needed and we always find it in great condition.
