Shepherds hut vacation rentals in British Isles

Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Me and five friends spend New Year’s Eve at Fiona’s huts and we had the most amazing time. The place is even better than what you see in the pictures. It’s cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Fiona has been a completely star, helping us with transport and more. Hopefully we will come back!

Just returned home after a fantastic 2 night stay. Ben's Hut was very cosy, quiet and in a gorgeous location! Would highly recommend and will definitely return again!

What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

Really beautiful place, more spacious than you think! Beds super comfortable heated under sheets on all bed so kids enjoyed to! With the fire to place stayed lovely and warm, no complaints at all, we had the best time & throughly enjoyed our super last minute booking, Linda and her husband were super helpful brought us animal fed for our kids to do (which they loved) the pool was Soooo warm and lovely decorations were fabulous radio lovely touch, phone box toilet was great and handy showers and toilet facilities were clean and warm, genuinely 10/10 place, beautiful surrounding! Also visited the local pub the fox inn 10/10 food was amazing and tasty! Couldn’t have wished for a better stay over new year was lovely experience in our own bubble. Family friendly& amazing hosts! Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

We had the loveliest stay at Sally’s Shepard’s hut. It’s so peaceful and quiet, with a lovely view over the countryside fields, there’s lots of lovely walks, pubs and cafes nearby, but it’s also the perfect place to relax. The hut has everything you need, (and more!) and was so cosy even in rainy February. Sally and her partner were so accommodating and helpful (even coming to help when we stupidly got our car stuck in mud!!!). We cannot recommend this place more highly :)

Michelle and her wagons were both fantastic!! Such a great help, with a very stressful project. Will definitely go back!

It has been a delightful weekend at Jo’s place! The surrounding is stunning, quiet and ideal for a relaxing time. I love the shepherd’s hut and Jo was great at communicating and a brilliant host. Definitely I will come back again! Thanks

Great Stay! very peaceful, loved the visits from the dog! Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. definitely would stay again.

If you’re looking for a true escape to privacy away from work, people and phone signal then this shepherd’s hut is the perfect retreat! It is cosy and warm with the log burner and the hot tub is a fun addition to wind down after a day of walking. Liz went the extra mile to provide a bag of charcoal for the bbq for us as we couldn’t find any en route. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and we had two of the best nights sleep in a long time! The only downside was that the outdoor shower was out of use due to frost and the indoor shower has limited hot water but then again it forced us to be efficient with our showers and water use! The microwave oven and hot plates are really useful for cooking. Would definitely recommend packing your own food if staying early in the week as the local pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We had a fabulous stay here. It was so peaceful and we had everything we could need. The hut was full of all the essentials, we felt like we kept finding hidden treasures! The wood fired hot tub was such a special addition and was so warm all throughout the evening. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Donna was a fantastic host and extremely helpful with advice and ensuring we had a perfect stay. Could not recommend enough, we can’t wait to come back to this little gem!

We had the most wonderful stay here! This hut has everything you need for a cosy weekend away. We brought our own chilli con carne and heated it up on the camping gas stove, lit the fire outside and watched the sunset. It was the perfect getaway! The bed was also really comfy which is a huge bonus. Annette and George were great hosts. I am sure we will be back!!

Super stay at Cotswold Hut! The perfect little bolthole, in a beautiful and restful setting with far reaching views. And sheep and a few llamas for neighbours! The hut was so cosy, warm and clean with all you need for creature comforts. Lovely touch with bread, butter, jams, milk; mini toiletries; even champagne glasses! Plenty of starter firewood for the woodburner- heats the hut up quickly. Hut was already warm from a heater on arrival on a cold and rainy evening 🙏 Tom was so helpful and responsive through the booking process, with easy directions to follow. Available on phone if needed but didn’t need to. Thanks Tom! Too short a trip. Can’t wait to return. Would highly recommend!

Stayed for 2 nights at Julie’s beautiful Shepard’s hut. From arrival we had the most relaxing stay, the Shepard’s hut was warm and cozy! The hut was immaculate and had no issues whatsoever so ever. Julie was super friendly and answered any queries we had! On the Saturday night we ventured out to the local pub and had a fantastic night out for the rugby. The locals were all so friendly. Will definitely be returning in the near future for a relaxing stay.

A lovely shepherds hut. Very clean and well equipped - we loved the Bluetooth speaker that was provided. Hosts were very friendly with plenty of local recommendations.

Looking for a weekend get away in the middle of nowhere to de-people, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Waking up to sounds of birds and sheep in the distance, with views of rolling hills was exactly what we needed. The shepherds hut had everything we needed, was very clean and had lovely hot water which is rare to find in these huts. Communication with Rachel was really smooth and we look forward to our stay again.

Lovely place, very nicely decorated and lovely and cosy. The hut has everything you need and has been well thought out for guests. The views are incredible and the surroundings of the hut were so peaceful, absolutely loved it and hope to come back soon!

Booked to stay here for a couple of nights and the place was unreal! Super easy to check in and was exactly like the pictures, arrived to a bottle of Prosecco and some Lindt chocolate which were definitely enjoyed. The Hot tub was amazing definitely my favourite part, it was super private and had everything you’d need from tea and coffee to a speaker if you wanted to listen to music in the hot tub. Conor and Sophie were amazing too from the quick responses to getting us extra logs etc! Overall an amazing stay would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Carolyn’s shepherd hut was super cosy and has the most amazing views! Carolyn accepted our booking at short notice and went the extra mile to supply us coal for the bbq (we went mid March so this request was understandably strange as there was no sun out!) Highly recommend!
